I went to T Bar tonight fully expecting a long wait because of the fundraiser supporting the Library. While the wait was longer than usual, the atmosphere was filled with joy, kindness, and a real sense of community. The staff handled the busy evening incredibly well. They consistently thanked customers for their patience, even though no one seemed bothered by the wait because we all seemed to understand and expect it. I was genuinely impressed by the positive attitude of every staff member working the Monday night event. They radiated joy and patience and never appeared stressed or short-tempered despite how busy they were. Their communication with one another was seamless, and they were just as welcoming and attentive to every customer who walked through the door. In a community that has been grieving, the environment they created tonight was truly something special. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make the evening such a positive experience while supporting such an important cause. The food was delicious as always! read more

Tried this place again and got the bowl with salmon, veggies, greens, quinoa. Definitely a lot more filling than the wrap! Also tried the wrap again and it had a lot more salmon this time. Portions must be depend on the chef because the second time I came here was better than the first. read more

Sadly, it seems that Tea Bar has declined as it has grown + it's a victim of shrinkflation. Before I moved to Chico, and I was only a visitor here, Tea Bar was the s*i#. When they opened in Sacramento I sung its praises to my family and friends there. Unfortunately I haven't had a good experience there since 2023. My kid is obsessed with the hummus, so I obliged her the other day. As we stood in line two women ahead of us had one heck of a time trying to substitute rice for quinoa in the kids bowl. The staff wouldn't allow it. This conversation went back and forth for all while I took some breaths and reminded myself I didn't have anywhere to be or rush to. So we waited... 10 minutes go by and the women are still ordering. I overheard one telling the staff her drink order and staff said, "oh yeah, you've been ordering that everyday for 10 years." Once their order was complete I heard that same woman say, "maybe I won't come here anymore..." Our turn to order. They were out of hummus. There was no sign to indicate this. Pros: Great ambiance with a talkative and live atmosphere. Staff are friendly. Cons: Drinks are ridiculously sweet. Even when ordering drinks at 0% or 25% sweetness, the drinks are just sweet. We stopped into T bar for a quick dinner on the way out of town. Such a cute, warm ambiance inside. The staff was friendly and helpful and service was quick. We had the build your own wraps- one with salmon and one with London broil. Both were delicious. Loved the filling and the miso dressing. We did wish the London broil wrap had a bit more meat in it. I appreciated the vegetarian and pescatarian options! We also had the strawberry almond frost and the peach frost. They had great flavor and texture, definitely a treat! I got the vanilla creme and it was p good! It was really busy and there was this family that was making a mess and spilled water everywhere on their table and was so inconsiderate and leaned their door on my car while they were shaking their car with their kids as well. I know it's not the service's responsibility to be responsible for that but it contributed to the ambience and I had a bad time because of that. The cashier was very nice. read more

Service was quick and easy ordering. Got the custom wrap with korean bbq chicken brown rice and chipotle ranch. The wrap was pretty thick but not too big. Honestly the sauce is the only thing that carries the wrap. I only tasted the Korean sauce on the ends of the wrap, like it was literally dropped on my spot only. The sauce was great. Makes the wrap a whole lot better tasting when u add it onto the wrap. The wrap was cut but not all the way which made separating the wrap another kind of hard. It destroyed the wrap causing almost everything to fall out It loses another star bc my roommate who i got the wrap with found not only one hair but two in his wrap. Food quality and staff professional have decreased as time goes by. Tables were dirty and staff snipy. Why do I bother!

I love their frosts (basically a frozen tea soy based milkshake) but all of their teas are usually fantastic. I highly recommend getting the Strawberry Almond frost (you can remove almond garnish if you don't like it-like me ) or the Chocolate Chai frost! I'd give them 5 stars if they would consistently fill the drinks but sometimes I'm skimped a bit. I've been coming here since 2013 and love it though. read more

I love, love, love the Tea Bar! :) It might be my new second love! Everything they have on the menu passes the delicious test with flying colors. Their wraps and bowls are what I normally order here. Their sweet chili chicken is phenomenal and their creamy teriyaki sauce is also a favorite of mine. What I love is that it's healthy food that actually tastes good. Not always easy to do. Normally my orders are ready not too long after I place them, which makes for reasonable service. Sadly, I can't write much about the ambiance. The inside is inviting, though. Maybe someday when I'm feeling a little less in a rush, I'll sit down inside and enjoy my food here. Anyway, try this place out! It's definitely worth a visit. read more

Well the times are hitting Tea bar hard. 55 bucks for 2 drinks and 2 pathetic bowls with minimal toppings. A tiny bit of cabbage.... i have gone to T bar many times. The food is pretty healthy with various customizable options . staff is always friendly and competent . I ordered a bowl to go the last couple times and I have to say that the protein portion has really shrunk. I don't feel like I got my money's worth. read more

My one complaint and the one I hear voiced ALWAYS is "why aren't you in MY town?" This is so healthy and fresh. I get the salmon with half rice, half greens. If we are in Sacramento we try to stop at that location to get our "Tea Bar" fix! Always hits the spot and is a big hit with our whole family. I stopped by tea bar for their buy one bowl get a bowl free promotion, which seemed like a pretty good deal. I got the salmon and the chicken which were both pretty good but only got like got like three pieces of salmon in the salmon bowl. The rice was unseasoned, pretty bland and tasted like it was left out for a while but the sauces that came with it were pretty good. The bowls are normally filled to the top when they don't have the promotion running and the ones that I got with the promotion were like half full so I would call the promotion a little misleading and the portions lackluster as it was half off for half a bowl. I used to love this place, but things have begun to change. First off, Tbar reduced its menu. I used to be able to select a loose-leaf tea (Milk Oolong) and add soymilk, and pearls. I lived it, it was only mildly sweet and tasted like... tea. But they have gotten rid of that option, you can now only get their sparkling, fruity concoctions. I tried the strawberry lime one yesterday, it tasted like soda, with pearls. Huge disappointment. Next, their food. I love their salmon salad, with the miso dressing. But like most other restaurants, they are subjecting their menu items to shrinkflation. So what used to be a delicious, filling salad, is no longer satiating. I got rice yesterday with my salad, just to make it more filling, but what I got was a massive serving of rice, a little lettuce, and some seriously puny pieces of salmon. This is simply no longer worth the cost. I spent $23 on a salad (with an extra dressing) and a boba drink... yep, that's right, $23. And if I did not eat the massive portion of rice, it have left me hungry. I used to really enjoy Tea-Bar, but the quality has gone downhill. The last few times I've ordered, the quinoa has been undercooked and completely inedible. You literally cannot chew through it, which is frustrating since it makes up half the bowl. On top of that, they barely put any salmon in the bowl, not more than a few bites. I spent $40 on two bowls that my husband and I could not even eat. I am usually not the type to call and complain, but I was so disappointed this time. I had lunch today at Tea Bar, and it was good per the usual. I probably have lunch here once per month--customer service is always top notch and the food comes out relatively quickly. We each ordered a fusion bowl - 2x London broil, 1x Hoisin salmon - and with a 20% tip it was just about $60. At nearly $20/person, that feels steep for the amount of food you get (i.e. $1.50 up-charge for a small portion of steak/salmon). That aside, I really like that Tea Bar exists... the fast casual space needs more healthy options like this. The Vallombrosa location also has a really nice patio, which is something I specifically seek out. read more

2/25/24 updated review. I honestly don't like change and I wish there was a way before you add something you get customers input. I do not red cabbage I have allergy to it. I love my sprouts but I suddenly can't get sprouts no more. Now I'm down to protein, carrots, rice, edamame just plane Jane. If I can make suggestion to add arugula that would be nice or bring back sprouts. Thanks. And nobody reached back out to me after my other review. I love coming here I love the food. I am so sad to say this but the quality of food has gone down hill so much in the last year or so. I used to LOVE Tea Bar and tell everyone to go there. I used to go there back when it was Tease Me! The avocado has been rubbery and odd tasting the last few times I've eaten here and they replaced the sprouts with cabbage. I feel like they're cheaping out and as a consumer, I can literally taste the difference. I also tried the steak and it was so chewy and gross, I ended up throwing it out! I have eaten here many times ever the past 5 years. I have never had a bag meal, service or frozen tea. I love frozen tea's .
