Surprisingly decent milk tea, considering that my clan and I were pretty much the only East Asians as far as we could see in the entire mall. After a few hours perusing the aisles at the massive Sawgrass Mills mall (mostly in the outdoor section), I was getting quite parched in the South Florida humidity. Being from the West Coast, I'm not used to this type of climate! When searching for a place to imbibe, I was surprised to see a boba shop here in the first place, since this neck of the woods isn't exactly known as a hotbed for Taiwanese or East Asian culture as a whole. Perhaps it is aimed for tourists? I was a bit skeptical initially as to how it would taste, but heck, I was on vacation. It was worth a shot. To be perfectly honest, I rarely if ever patronize mall boba shops even back home, as I know there are better options elsewhere, but since I was running on fumes at this point, I had to find something, and Komma appeared in front of me like the mirage in the desert. And ultimately, I'm glad I took the plunge! I ordered a simple honey green milk tea with no ice and 1/4 sugar, and it was just the perfect refreshment to hit the spot. Business was quite slow, as I was the only customer, but the lone bobarista working there was friendly, helpful, and efficient. I'm not sure when will be the next time I visit Sawgrass Mills, but if I ever return, a stop by Komma will undoubtedly be on the itinerary! read more

Convenient kiosk to place orders if the line with the cash register person is too long. Unfortunately, the kiosk did not complete our order once we got to the final page, it kept loading and never finished. So we ended up going to the line anyway. Komma Tea is a small Boba and macaron spot located inside the mall. You can find it next to Auntie Anne's Pretzels and across from Burlington. My daughter ordered the Lychee on Lychee drink which was a lychee infused black tea with lychee jelly. She added tapioca boba for an additional $0.75 to her order and modified the sweetness by 50%. It was cool watching them make the drink, put it into the shaker machine and then sealing it. They offer huge macarons for $4.79 each with a variety of flavors. Didn't get it this time. Maybe next time. Lychee on Lychee was a very refreshing drink. Tapioca boba and lychee jelly tasted fresh. Service was good. Clean space too. read more

I was really disappointed with Komma tea. I ordered the Brown Sugar Milk boba drink and the boba was so dense and chewy. They keep it on this table in the middle of their kitchen. I notice that the really good boba places keeps the boba pearls warm. Other than the boba being dense and chewy the drink was just alright they use really small ice chips that go up the straw and then next thing your choking on ice. The counter service was rushed and felt pretty careless. There sign says you get to choose your sweetness flavor and ice amount and they wouldn't let me specify my request. So insane to have a decent boba spot open up in Sawgrass !! However they need to work on their consistency. Been here a few times and loved certain drinks I loved with others I wasn't a fan of. Service is always fast and friendly, and tbh they're always bumping to good music lol. No seating but a small area to lay your stuff while waiting. I've tried the house milk tea, lychee on lychee, earl grey milk tea, and the thirsty goose. With the good: LOVE their earl grey!! Finally a decent spot to get a fresh earl grey boba. You can 100% taste that they use fresh high quality tea. Their boba is excellent as well; not too sweet and has the perfect texture. The house milk tea is also good, with a strong black tea flavor coming through. Thirsty goose is an interesting combo of flavors, but my friend loved this drink. I will say that they have been inconsistent with their milk to tea ratio: sometimes I've felt my tea a little watered down and not as rich as I'd like. They could definitely work on their consistency. To the not so good: the lychee on lychee was way too bitter. Seems like the tea was oversteeped, or the ratio of lychee to tea isn't good. I also ordered a thai tea here that I really didn't like: no tea flavor came through at all in this drink. Just tasted like sugar and milk. I returned it and they were super generous to offer another drink instead. Really excited to have this location near us, and rating it high since sometimes they really hit just right. read more

Located in Sawgrass next to adidas factory store is Komma Tea. In the past, mall boba has never been great but this place changed my mind. It's really hard not to give anything but a 5 star because there were no problems with this place. Service was good from the get-go, drinks came out fast and nice to see that the drinks aren't powdered base. I went with the lychee on lychee. Because if you know me, then it's the best option for me. Drink was very smooth and enjoyable. Very refreshing to walk around and sip while you shop. I also got a sip of the Thai tea. It was good. Not too sweet, not too bland. The boba wasn't too chewy, or mushy. The macaroons were big. The pricing is on the high end. My drink was close to 7 bucks and the macaroons are 4 a piece. But it's worth it! All in all, it shouldn't be a komma but an exKlamation point. read more

I ordered a smoothie with the snow foam after walking off I realized it was not a smoothie and it had a butter taste I went back to explain what happen the guy that was there went to talk to his manager about instead of providing me with the correct order he told him to charge me extra and he has to re use the boba that was in the cut the guy then washed the boba off and the manager (Kevin) told him to tell me he is busy I have videos of him washing the boba off and putting it in the cut worst customer service ever. I do not recommend this place just based off the service alone . At the very least the girl at the front counter can say hi how are you etc. Instead you are greeted with mean dead stare as if you are bothering her. I can't justify spending money at an establishment where customer service isn't at least number 1. read more

The girls working there have no clue what any of the teas were, our order was wrong and the boba was low quality. Sadly we threw our drinks away after couple sips. Definitely not returning there.
