It with a sad heart that I leave this review. This place has been my go to for bowls and teas for years and today was the last straw. Some time in this past year something has changed at this place. They don't care about attention to detail when making their bowls. Too many orders to count with incorrect ingredients. Too many bowls thrown together in a way where it's clear management no longer cares about making a good product or lack of training. Today I ordered an acai bowl and a tea. Waited exactly 60 minutes for my order and again a bowl thrown together without any attention to details and definitely no longer worth the money. My son, after waiting 45 minutes in the store, asked for our order and the manager said she would expedite. 15 minutes later the tea came out... An hour later and nothing for our wasted time but a courtesy apology. I'm done with this establishment and won't be wasting my money here any longer. Great job tea largo. You've lost a 5-6 year long customer today. read more

For the past three years I have gone to tea largo and been an extremely loyal customer. I moved to college last year and one of my favorite parts of coming home is going to get an açaí bowl from here. Today, I went in and ordered 2 bowls to go. I checked the bag to make sure everything was correct (in which it was) but when I got home I was disappointed to find each of my bowls looking like this. If I'm paying $8 for an açaí bowl why is it not a full bowl? Honestly, I love this place but recently it seems as if everytime I go, I'm disappointed. read more

I love their tea and boba. Even though they don't have like, the classic boba flavors, theirs are very tropical inspired since they have coconut and stuff but they're really good. Every time I go I always get my food pretty fast too so that's a plus. And the shop is super cute~ they have little merch and stickers and other items you can buy, they also sell tea leaves you can buy to brew yourself. And their tables are super cute read more

Really cool beach feel. Decor is captivating. Music is a definite plus. The Acai Bowl is very tasty. You build your own. Lots of other options available. Have also tried a few smoothies, they are good too. Again you have several to choose from. They are a bit pricey but, I haven't found any place that sale Acai bowls and smoothies that are inexpensive. It's definitely more affordable to make them at home but if you want a quick hangout or grabbing one on the run.... Tea Largo is a great option. The staff's personalities don't match their business. Everyone is usually pretty blah. I would expect a more vibrant, fun, enthusiastic vibe. They are nice but seem unhappy. Maybe they are focused. Either way, I am a regular here. YUM! It was my first time having their açaí bowl and I was completely satisfied! I love the taste of the actual açaí that's used in for their bowl. You can tell the açaí is blended fresh, per order. I've had bowls from other places that are pre-made and just put in a freezer and taken out when ordered, yucky! Asian here. Do not get boba at Tea Largo. Tapioca pearls are fine, but the teas here are NOT GOOD. I was actually surprised that some places can mess up Thai tea that easily. It's so dark and it looks like it'll be really potent, but it tastes nothing like Thai tea. I don't even know what it actually is. I wish I was exaggerating. I got an oolong tea as well. Used to be my favorite place to get Smoothie Bowls and Boba if you didn't want to drive all the way to Tampa or Orlando (BobaCup in Tampa is a location you have to visit if you love quality Boba) after years of supporting the company I was horrified and disgusted by the awful treatment of the employees by a manager named Kristen, she is extremely unprofessional to customers and her fellow Team Members, I've had multiple friends whom have had the unpleasant experience of working with her, Instead of being straight to the point she comes off as passive aggressive, being a manager requires professionalism which she does not have. If you put in a two weeks notice at Tea Largo Kristen takes it upon herself to cut your schedule within the two weeks frame, how do you expect to keep employees if you treat them like utter garbage. Won't be coming here anytime soon! read more

After 4 years of living in Lakeland I was finally pushed to try tea largo by friends. While I understand the hype I can't feed into it. I got the açaí bowl, my friend got tea with boba and another friend got a smoothie of some sort. We each tried each other's item because we all had never been and wanted to see what was good. The tea and smoothie was in need of sugar or something sweet we all agreed. Maybe you have to order it that way but no one informed us. My friend didn't finish it. The smoothie was ok but could have also been a tad sweeter. My açaí bowl was good but it was not one of the best I have had. I felt it needed more fruit and granola and honey on top. I also felt it was on the sour side as well. This place is super hip and fun with a light and open hipster vibe. The have vegan options and are good for those on a healthy kick but honestly if you are craving a sweet treat I wouldn't say this was the place to go. Hit this us for your after the gym snack. I got the taro bubble tea and it was terrible. Taro milk teas are usually purple but mine was white. The drink tastes like pure milk and sugar, no taro flavor at all. The boba also has no flavor whatsoever, very rubbery. I was looking at other reviews and another person also said the same thing about the taro milk tea. This is a great place to meet and hangout with people- there is plenty of seating in a unique setting. The menu has a diverse array of drinks and superfood bowls- many of which are create your own so your sure to have a beverage that is tailored to your liking. They mostly offer teas, but they have several other options for non tea drinkers as well. My only negative comment is that they did take quite a while to make our drinks which led to the line baking up to the door. The staff was nice, but not overly helpful. WOW! This placed changed my life! My son is in university in Lakeland, and I came to visit with him and he said we HAD TO take for me an acai bowl at Tea Largo. My expectations were not very high because, honestly, I'm not a big smoothie fan. You may think that disqualifies me as a good judge here, but I think if I don't normally think something is great, but someone makes one that IS great, a smoothie lover would be over the top for it. Well, needless to say, IT WAS AWESOME! So, the specifics, you order the acai bowl, which is basically a smoothie in a bowl topped with a little granola and then 4 toppings of your choice. My son got blueberries, chia seeds, cacao nibs, and bee pollen. I got blueberries, strawberries, cacao nibs, and bee pollen. Btw, whatever you get, be sure and get the cacao nibs (basically "healthy chocolate" chips)! SO GOOD! Anyway, we tore it up. As far as the place itself, it was really cool. The decor was kind of a beachy feel, very bright and colorful and happy! They also have a store with a lot of fun decor and other things that you can buy. I didn't notice much, to be honest, because I was in love with what I was eating. I can say that the service was great, friendly, efficient, and kind. Lots of other things on the menu that I'm sure are great, but if nothing else, go try one of these acai bowls. They aren't cheap at $7 per, but they are well worth it! read more
