After dinner, we wanted something refreshing, and Tea On Piedmont definitely hit the spot. The shop has a clean, modern look with a small retail area featuring beautiful tea ceramics, pots, and even books to help improve your tea-making skills. I went with the Hōjicha iced tea, and I really enjoyed it. It was simple, well-balanced, and not overly sweet--something that's surprisingly hard to find these days with so many extravagant boba and tea spots around. A great place to unwind and enjoy a quality cup of tea.

I love this little spot. Found it randomly one day on my way to teach and got a Joco! It was so delicious, I love a milk tea and the Jasmine hit the spot. I stopped by again today before work to grab a Matcha and got it with brown sugar. It was perfect made! I also got the everything scone/biscuit, it is beyond delicious. The staff is always super friendly and the service is quick.

Also known as where people take their sushi from Ebiko to eat because Ebiko doesn't have seating. It's across the street. Otherwise it's a nice place to bring your laptops and do work. Plenty of seating and window lighting. They make their tea fresh. I had to wait 10 mins one time for my oolong to be prepared. They use timers and everything! You can tell they're serious with the craft.

Elegant tea in Oakland! Tea of Piedmont's tea selection is great. It is clear that the tea is high quality. They all have a very dynamic flavor. The flavors are strong but not overpowering. The drinks are not incredibly sweet so it lets the earthy flavors of the teas shine. The boba was a bit hard but it wasn't much of a bother. The drinks were very pleasant! They definitely are a bit pricey (averaging around $7+). I don't believe you can adjust the size so this price is a bit steep although the quality is very good. The cafe itself is very cute. It is pretty minimalist but has a lot of seating. This seating isn't necessarily the most comfortable with wooden benches and low tables, but it fits the vibes well. The barista was super sweet and approachable. She finished the drinks super quick too. I would say the menu is a bit confusing at first because of the way that it's formatted, but after taking the time to look at it, it's not too bad. I would definitely come again!

One of my favs. Small menu compared to most. Paid lot or paid street parking so it's def not the easiest to get in or out of but their drinks are tasty, without being too sweet. Unique enough that it keeps me coming back, friendly staff, and my fav sitting nook around. They've got seating n music going but the seating is perfect for ppl watching. My current obsession is the ::::joco latte w house made mango add on ::::: yummmers. The mango is seasonal tho but I love the strawberry too. My default is the refreshing :::: iced chrysanthemum w light honey and boba:::: sad/happy this place is outta the way for me most of the time haha

I've been here a few times and like it. I ordered the Chrysanthemum Tea and it's nice. The servers are friendly and very knowledgeable. The space has a nice, chill vibe. I'm a tea connoisseur and always enjoy looking at the creative blends and tea sets on the side wall. Just a sweet space to read, work on a laptop, or even chat with a friend.

I usually enjoy their houjicha latte a lot! But today since they were advertising their spring seasonal flavor prickly pear, I asked for a recommendation and they recommended the prickly pear lemonade. I took their suggestion, and while the bright color is striking, I fear the flavor is just $6.50 lemonade + tip. I'll probably stick with my usual from here out

Cool spot with great service and spacious working areas. The milk tea with boba was pretty good.

Lots of seating available, with both inside and outside options. I ordered an iced matcha latte and didn't wait long to receive it. Lively environment where people were able to work on their laptop or catch up (they do have music playing).

The Joco Latte is decent!! Very creamy and the coconut flavor is prominent. The jasmine tea is fragrant, especially in the aftertaste! I thoroughly enjoyed it. The interior of the cafe is cute and spacious. Lots of people enjoying the vibes and studying here. Parking is rough though!

Simple, straightforward menu with good tasting drinks. Strawberry milk is super kid friendly and tasted fresh and not too sweet. They said there signature is the hojicha latte, but I was feeling matcha (which was a fine tasting matcha latte).

A very inviting space. Well kept. Full of light. Friendly low key staff. Good selection of teas. Only complaint is they are very sloooooow.

This spot caught my eye on Yelp because of the aesthetics! We stopped in for post-dinner caffeine. I was planning on getting the oolong macadamia but once I tried a sample, I wasn't too big of a fan. It tasted way too light and not enough of the roasted oolong flavor. But after having their hojicha latte, I think that's just the style here! Even the hojicha, which typically has a very strong roasted flavor, tasted very light in this drink. But overall it was a smooth and creamy drink. I think you just need to know what you're getting coming here! I did try my friend's strawberry fizzy tea though and that was very refreshing! I appreciated that they had a kids menu too. They have a nice corner spot with great lighting and I loved the section with all of the tea related merch. We found street parking easily nearby too!

It's a very small underground-ish area, and there's no seating. You ask the staff for whichever pastries you'd like and they grab it out of the case/fridge for you. Ranked best to worst, we got the: - milkshake pie: omg idk how but it really does taste like a milkshake, coffee base with huge oreo chunks mixed in. brownie crust was quite tough but bottom was compressed oreo - sweet potato cake: yummm, tastes like carrot cake, well spiced, moist - coconut cream pie: not too sweet, big coconut chunks mixed into the base, light, very crumbly crust like loose crumbs - red velvet cake: easily the worst one, dry like a grocery store cake honestly Only issue is these got stale fast, like the cakes weren't moist the next day. Microwaved them to fix that and if you like warm cake then that's a helpful hack. They have a huge variety of desserts, many that I've never heard of or tried so definitely excited to try again.
