Super cute! My boyfriend goes here often so when I was able to visit NorCal, I wanted to stop by, especially since I love dinosaurs and this is a dino themed boba place. It's small, but you can tell it's a staple of the Niles community. They have car meets (I believe) since there's a decent sized parking lot to the side. There's some seating inside and an equal amount of seating outside too. You order through the kiosk. Super efficient and you can very heavily customize your drink order too. Makes sense for the insane level of customization (milk options, creamer options, toppings, ice and sweetness levels). Not a lot of places let you adjust the sweetness down to 10%. It's usually 25% or 0%. So this is really nice! I got their peach lychee magnolia infused green tea at 10% sweet and less ice. Perfect not too sweet level so that I can taste the other flavors. I like the fruity flavors with the subtle floral taste and the tea. Refreshing and great even a couple days later (I left it sealed in the fridge for the road trip down). I also got one of their cute silly T-rex plushie keychains too and they have a little post it note wall where you can leave a little message or drawing.

Saw this place while strolling around at a car show and decided to give it a try. Ordering was easy since they had a kiosk set up right in front. We ordered: * Tiger tea with honey boba * Mango tea with mango jelly Both drinks were decent, but we've definitely had better. The mango tea was refreshing and probably the better of the two. The tiger tea was just ok and didn't really stand out. Unfortunately, the boba was also a bit hard which was a little disappointing. Overall, not bad if you're in the area and want something quick, but probably not a place we'd specifically go out of our way for.

Skilletz apparently has its own boba shop called Tea-Rek'z. I see many people in line for Skilletz but not its boba shop and kinda expect it to be long here too when it isn't. It may have recently opened because it didn't exist when I went to Skilletz for the first time. The place is very tiny though with all paper notes on the walls with all of the merch and other products stocked on the shelves that they sell. This includes ramen but you may have to ask the staff for hot water. There are only two tables though due to the size of the shop. I decided to get one of their favorite milk tea, which is the Tiger Milk Tea without boba because of course, a single small boba can actually take up more calories and I didn't want to consume a lot throughout the day. Honestly, the boba tastes good. It's as good as the breakfast I had from Skilletz except that it's boba. Not really a bad boba shop, but honestly, it would have been better if there's a way for them to extend the size of the shop if more customers choose to dine-in. Other than that, it's a good place to stop by especially when you go next door to get boba after dining at Skilletz to support them more.

Shaved ice with strawberry, passion fruit and mango! Amazingly thirst quenching on a hot summer day!

Was visiting downtown Niles and spotted this new boba/cafe spot by skilletz's. It's a cute small walk in location and literally right next to skilletz. They offer boba teas, coffee, hot appetizers and some merch. After looking at the menu we decided one two drinks. We ordered their Dino freeze passion fruit and mango drink with lychee and it was very good. However, their piña colada was not good at all, not sure if the coconut milk went bad or what but it tasted weird. We asked our drink maker if we could replace it with another drink and he gladly did. The drink we replaced it with was cheaper than the piña colada so it wasn't a big deal to swap it. While he was remaking our drink whoever that man was that came to check on why it was being remade looked annoyed and was asking the guy making our drink why we didn't like the piña colada. I explained the coconut milk tasted weird like it might have gone bad or expired or something. That was awkward and he didn't looked like he cared for my input at all but either way at the end we left with 2 good drinks. + I did appreciate that young man that remade our drink, he didn't hesitate and gave good customer service. Side note: They do have a signup that states if you're not happy with your drink they will remake it.

Stopped for a quick treat and got the Strawberry Dino Smash...100% sweet for this sweet tooth, 50% ice. Perfectly refreshing and ready in no time!

Simple mom and pop look inside.

A new boba shop just opened next to Skillet'z Cafe in Fremont Niles! I noticed they had freshly brewed teaspresso, so I decided to take the risk of not sleeping tonight and ordered a Peach Oolong Tea. (It's only 1 PM, so hopefully I'll be fine ). The entire menu is in English only, so I assumed it catered to American taste buds. I ordered mine with 25% sugar--and to my surprise, it really wasn't sweet! Perfect for someone like me who finds even Spindrift sweet. The tea flavor was rich and fragrant, exactly what you'd expect from a real teaspresso brew. The interior is very simple, kind of a mom-and-pop vibe. They can even remake your drink if you're not happy with it--feels like the boba version of Philz Coffee! The only downside is the space--it's pretty small, so if it gets busy, you'll probably have to sit outside. Also, the sign isn't very visible from the street; you wouldn't realize it's a boba shop until you walk right up to it.

Happened to stumble across Tea-Rekz by Skilletz on our way to get coffee. I believe they are still doing their soft opening with special prices. My fiance got a latte across the street and I was able to get a milk tea here. Win-win lol. It's a small location, so it's more of a grab and go spot. There was some seating in front of the windows outside. I used the self-serve kiosk out front, although it was kinda hard to see with the sun glaring. I ordered an assam black milk tea 75% sweet, no boba. When my drink was ready, it was brought out to me. I thought it was good. I'd come back to try other drinks. Nice to see a boba option in this neighborhood.

Whoa, new boba shop in Fremont Niles! I happened to stop by on my walk to the farmers market and the shop is right next to Skilletz, which makes sense since theyre a partner business. You almost miss it with how much it blends together and the line outside skilletz is usually out the door. I got a Matcha Milk Tea and was actually surprised with the quality of the matcha, still earthy and not watered down or grainy! Looks like they only have milk and fruit teas so far but everything is pretty customizable, you can choose toppings, sweetness level, ice level, and milk/creamer options. All pretty standard practice. It's only their soft opening still but so far so good! I'd definitely want to stop by to try their other drinks next time.

    Jasmine green tea with boba

I've been eyeing this spot for a while now since I like to go to the farmers market and be in the Nile's area. It's owned by Skilletz so I was curious about the taste and quality. It has kiosks for customers to self-place orders and the wait time was less than 10 minutes. My sister and I got two drinks, mine was the jasmine green milk tea. The boba was good but the milk tea felt a little disappointing. I felt it was a little bit milked down so I couldn't really get the full flavor. My sister got a matcha latte with mango puree which she described the puree as some of the best she ever had. Overall though, it's a small space but there is some seating. The wall is covered with post its with art and I think that adds a nice touch to the space. The staff were also friendly. I will give this place another try in the future.

    Boba is so good

Try the mango matcha latte and Dino freeze they are all good ,strawberry milk boba and ube taro and mango coconut those are also good

Stopped by Tea-Rek'z and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the tea. You can really taste the difference. The tea was refreshing, well-balanced, and not overly sweet. Great service and a nice atmosphere. I'll definitely be back to try more of their menu.

I remember it being just okay, but I guess each franchise owner does things a little bit differently because I enjoyed my drink here! It's a super casual boba spot that shares a space with a Chinese take out restaurant. There's some counter seating, probably for the students since there's a high school across the street and lots of zoomers there after school. Decent amount of parking in the lot. You can order ahead, order at any of their 2 touch screen kiosks, or even order from staff if need be (saw this happen). It did take some time for our drinks to come out but that was because there was only 1 staff working before his colleague clocked in and it was right after school when other students were ordering lots of drinks. I got the new on the menu Buckwheat Longjing Tea Latte. There's whipped cream and candied pecans on top. Reminds me a lot of what Chayan and Auntea Jenny are doing. Quite trendy. I got this at 25% sweet and it's not bad. Perfect level of sweetness that doesn't overpower the tea and the mix of whipped cream and a bite here or there of the candied nuts adds the a nice sugary pang to it. You can taste the roasted flavor of the buckwheat. Good stuff. I noticed that they also have the elegant "Oriental" style cups and the thing 3 prong flute straws. The big Chinese franchises are doing that and I don't recall the SoCal location having that so, it really does depend on which one you go to. Boyfriend liked his sugar free drink with cheese foam and I wouldn't mind coming back here in the future.

This boba shop serves all kinds of tea along with snacks. There are some board games stacked on a counter, and a few seating/booths available. I can see R&B being a cute hangout for high schoolers, but it's definitely small enough for grab and go. I ordered via kiosk: Jasmine banana cloud (a R&B Tea special) - after I placed my order on the self-order kiosk, the worker behind the counter grabbed my attention to double check whether I ~actually~ wanted that. Curious, I asked why, in which he answered that this specific item has not been popular among patrons. I wonder, then, why this item is even on the menu. Surprisingly enough, the drink was not bad at all. Probably for acquired tastes. There are better boba places around, but wouldn't mind coming back in a pinch.
