Mango Peach Slushy: Refreshing & sweet. I added mango popping boba & it made it even better. Strawberry Matcha: It's not bad. The strawberry jam is tart, but it mixes well with the matcha. I've been wanting to try the purple cloud tea latte and finally got a chance to try it today. The wait time was about 5 minutes after I ordered on the kiosk. It looks super pretty and aesthetic but the taste unfortunately didn't match up. I could barely taste the ube flavoring and it was so bland. This drink tasted like black tea watered down even though it was supposed to have milk in it. I couldn't taste the milk and was pretty disappointed considering this was supposed to be 100% sweet and it didn't taste sweet at all. The only thing saving this drink was the amount of boba you get as they do offer a hearty portion but it has no flavored coating on it and is a bit mushy. Based on this experience, I might try this place again if I'm ever in the area but I wouldn't come specifically for this boba place when there are so many better ones in the East Bay. read more

This place is awesome. My favorite is the fried cauliflower. The vegetable tastes fresh and the exact right amount of crunchy. Not mushy. Not crispy. I get the spicy level 1. The fries are "smooth". There is a sweet overtone that is surprising. And again, just the right kind of frying. On the soft side with a light crispness. I particularly like the garlic fries. The popcorn chicken is good. I came here with some friends and ordered a taro bubble milk tea large, no sugar, no ice, which was still fairly reasonably priced given the rising costs of boba nowadays. I also got to eat some of the garlic fries since my friend shared them with me. It came out very fast, maybe it was quicker to make than some of the orders of people ahead of me. The taro milk tea was fine. The taro itself was just mildly sweet which is what I expected given I aske for no sugar, but the boba is sweeter, so it balanced out well. The garlic fries were super garlicky, though. I think it would've been better if they took it easy on the garlic and added more of other flavors and spices. Not much service anymore - you either order on a kiosk inside or online. I have not been here in years and I was recently craving their mochi waffles, so I ordered online for pick-up. I took advantage of their combo and ordered the mochi waffles with a jasmine milk tea. After drinking my milk tea, I remembered why I do not come here as often - I would only only come here for their mochi waffles, not their drinks. Took the kids here during Sprint Break. Decided to go here instead of driving to the Fremont location. Kiosks are available to order. Seating area available- however, it wasn't all that clean. Husband ordered the waffle fries(made spicy), he said they were pretty good. Everyone ordered taro boba drinks. For all new boba spots I go to, I order the brown sugar boba if it's on the menu. This review is solely based on that drink alone. Mr. Green Bubble's brown sugar boba drink was lacking in various aspects. For one, the boba was very very soft, almost a mushy consistency. I'm guessing they overcooked the boba so the bouncy chew was no longer there and the pearls stuck together. The drink itself just tasted like plain milk with a little bit of added sugar. The ice to sugar ratio was off-- the drink tasted quite watered down (there's no "no ice" option). Overall, I'm not too impressed with the drink I got. As for the service, I can't say much because we simply ordered on a kiosk and got our number called when the order was ready. The inside of the shop looks quite spacious and a nice place to dine though. read more

The ordering was great as I customized the spicy level for the popcorn chicken & the sweetness and ice level for the drink. However, they set the tips at 15% even for take out (not that I don't want to tip them but I think the customer should have the choice to give whatever percentage they'd like). I put in my phone number & got text when my order was ready. The portion for popcorn chicken bento was good with the price given. Beware that the level 5 spicy was super spicy, but I like it. The chicken pieces were crispy and they gave generous amount. The bento also came with white rice, a veggie roll and a side of green salad with ranch sauce. The taro milk tea was just ok. I ordered for no sugar but it was still too sweet for my liking. Maybe because the boba itself was already sweet. This restaurant is tucked in a shopping strip next to Rite aid. Best thing here is the popcorn chicken, fried tofu and omg the fried mushrooms, soo good! If you do indulge in any of these fried snacks do the combo adding a delicious Thai tea or milk teas, with boba of course ;). Service is good, staff is friendly enough. The room to chill with the games and things has always been a cool feature of the restaurant. I will say that it does look a little sparse and run out post pandemic but overall I am glad it survived. The menu on the window DOES NOT reflect what's on the kiosk. Everything we wanted was missing so we had to completely change our orders. The drinks tasted fine but I did not like mine. Really solid boba place. I'm not an expert by any means but I got into boba a few years ago and have tried quiet a few different places. This one is definitely my favorite. I usually get the Thai tea or early grey. Egg pudding and honey boba are my go to add ins. Their egg pudding has a great consistency, not too mushy, not too rubbery. Their boba is the best I've had around Fremont. It's always got a soft, fresh texture. Some places you can tell the boba is getting too firm from sitting around but I've never had that from this place and I've ordered here at least 10+ times so they're consistent. I think the only "complaint" is that sometimes it can take a little bit to get your drink cause they're busy! I try to remember to order ahead and that helps, but it's worth the wait if I just swing by. read more

The milk tea itself was alright. The way it was ordered, it was just brewed earl grey tea and then I added milk and boba to the drink. I adjusted the sweetness and ice to match my tastes. The best thing about it was that it tasted like earl grey. The milk portion I couldn't tell if it added anything special, besides making it milk tea. The boba was decent at best.
