Ordered the Vietnamese sandwich. The bread was nice and tasted not crumbly. Service was good. Ambiance is family friendly with cool decor. Will come back to try other items!

Menu

Came here on a weekday around 3pm. Wasn't too busy which was good because I think there were only 2 staff members at the time. They have a pretty big menu and you can either order from a kiosk or at the cashiers. I've ordered delivery from here too and their boba seems to be consistent and it's pretty good. I haven't found anything extremely special yet but once again, they do have a big menu to choose from so I might've not come across it yet. The only bad thing was that when I went in, there were several tables that haven't been bussed yet. It seemed like there were only 2 out of 10 tables clean. Now I'm not sure if it was because they were short staffed or because it was a slower hour but it just didn't make the place as appealing.

"Garlic fries" -- cheese and fries and ketchup, charged $4.05
Megan C.

Food: - fried food is completely inedible likely due to them irregularly changing (or not changing enough) the oil since there's an awful bitter aftertaste - "garlic fries" = burnt fries with sprinkling of cheese (this perhaps may just been a wrong order) - you can taste the tea in the drink but it's both bitter and dilute (even with light ice) - at least the boba isn't hard and does have a chewy undertone Ambience: - a great place to hang out with friends to play minimal games or have a good chat - modern decor Service: - one star solely for the service - I appreciate that they go out of their way to make the issue right or make it right with you Parking and location: -- located on the first floor of a "recently" constructed residential area - shared parking with those who live in the building - tight and small spaces - may be difficult to find a parking spot but will find one and it's freeeeee I only went here due to this year's Fremont restaurant week and other than that, this place sadly does not live up to the R&B name and therefore, I will probably never return.

Not to be dramatic, but R&B Tea Fremont cured my boredom, revived my taste buds, and restored my faith in boba. One sip = instant mood boost. The shop is clean, service 10/10, the drinks are aesthetic, and the boba??? Chewy, tasty, perfect!LIKE HELLO?? And the Matcha Latte?? Actually elite. Smooth, real matcha flavor, they actually use WHISK and no powder taste. It's my Roman Empire now. If this place ever disappears, I'm starting a riot.

Ordered on Doordash had a good deal. Good size drinks, love how it comes in a can looking bottle. Both drinks I ordered the Thai tea and Taro milk tea were delicious and creamy, perfect amount of sweetness. All drinks were made correctly to order. Good texture on the boba. Definitely good boba place!

Popcorn Chicken Rice Bowl, Vietnamese Shaking Beef, Strawberry Stommy, and Ube Coffee
Genevie I.

Order 1 Popcorn Chicken Rice Bowl, 1 Vietnamese Shaking Beef, 1 Strawberry Stommy, and 1. Ube Coffee. Food was delicious very fresh and tasty. Rice was definitely hitting different in a good way. Beef was tender and popcorn chicken was cooked to perfection. Drinks were tasty and made with care. Shoutout to Han at the register and made our drinks. He was super helpful and kind. He took the time to answer our questions and overall had great customer service. Loved the customer service. Ambiance is cute. Love the art and flowers on the walls. The menus are displayed on big screen tvs. Really cute inside. There is front and back parking. I definitely recommend this location and boba/food place. :) 10/10

cold brew mojito

First time here with a couple of homies & I was looking forward to having some coffee. There's two huge kiosks like big apple computers in front of the cashier. The cold brew mojito caught my attention while searching for a morning drink. As expected, the cold brew was fresh, minty, & bittersweet - how i like it. They topped it with coffee jelly to enhance the wakeness of the drink. We sat down at the booths which needed a little cleaning. Definitely a cool, casual place to dine or have a sweet treat with friends.

I came here late at night on a Friday and it was pretty empty. There is parking on the street in front of this store and other places. When you enter, there are two kiosks where you order. I think you can also order at the counter too, but we knew what we wanted so we ordered on the kiosks. The kiosks also show pictures so it is nice if you want images. The drinks were made quickly. There is lots of seating to hang out and the inside is very clean/stylish.

I placed an online order and checked in when I arrived to pick it up. The cashier (a woman wearing glasses) barely acknowledged me, simply looked at the screen and said, "We're still working on it." After that, she continued taking new customer orders, and it appeared those drinks were being prepared before mine. A little later, another customer came in to pick up an online order, and one of the baristas immediately started making her drinks. By that point, I had already been waiting for over 20 minutes. I eventually flagged down one of the baristas in the back, who kindly apologized for the delay and quickly prepared my order. There's no seating area inside the bakery, but there are some tables outside next to a water fountain. Of the times that I've been there, it's mostly empty and clean, and the trash bins are not overflowing. The donuts are absolutely delicious. The brioche donut is soft but holds the fillings in well. There's also a bit of crunch from the sugar on the outside of the donut. There's an ample amount of filling, so you get to taste the flavors. So far, my favorites are Irish cream, lemon blueberry, and banana cream. It is a bit messy to eat, so have napkins and a small plate to catch any sugar or filling that may fall out when you bite into it. We had their chocolate chip cookie. It looked like a big mound of baked dough. Overall, it was okay. I would easily skip this for the donuts instead. I haven't tried their coffees, but my daughter loves the hot chocolate, and I have been enjoying their calamansi juice. It's nice and tart, not too sweet. I have seen some savory options but have not tried them. I will be back to explore the menu.

I remember it being just okay, but I guess each franchise owner does things a little bit differently because I enjoyed my drink here! It's a super casual boba spot that shares a space with a Chinese take out restaurant. There's some counter seating, probably for the students since there's a high school across the street and lots of zoomers there after school. Decent amount of parking in the lot. You can order ahead, order at any of their 2 touch screen kiosks, or even order from staff if need be (saw this happen). It did take some time for our drinks to come out but that was because there was only 1 staff working before his colleague clocked in and it was right after school when other students were ordering lots of drinks. I got the new on the menu Buckwheat Longjing Tea Latte. There's whipped cream and candied pecans on top. Reminds me a lot of what Chayan and Auntea Jenny are doing. Quite trendy. I got this at 25% sweet and it's not bad. Perfect level of sweetness that doesn't overpower the tea and the mix of whipped cream and a bite here or there of the candied nuts adds the a nice sugary pang to it. You can taste the roasted flavor of the buckwheat. Good stuff. I noticed that they also have the elegant "Oriental" style cups and the thing 3 prong flute straws. The big Chinese franchises are doing that and I don't recall the SoCal location having that so, it really does depend on which one you go to.
