Today was the first time I've been to Tea Spa and it was great. I bought a pedicure and a shellac manicure on their website then booked the appointment online as well. When I walked in they were super friendly and I had my pedicure first. It was very relaxing and I actually almost fell asleep (which I never do) and I had my gel manicure after. I recently made a visit to this spa for a spa day and spent several hours here doing different services and from the moment I walked in I was greeted with a smile and asked if I wanted anything to drink. I got a massage facial mani and pedi and was very pleased with all my services. The spa itself is very beautiful and they even have wifi and chargers to charge your phone! Where else can you find that?! I definitely bonded well with all and enjoyed my welcoming with Cathy at the front desk as well as with Shera that did a beautiful job on my nails, as well as for Nadia and Zara for taking care of my facial and massage. I will be coming back here for all my spa days because they also have a great membership program that I could not resist. It really is a money saver and they do not disappoint. As soon as I walked in, I instantly felt relaxed. They play soothing music and offer water/tea. I have come here several times for manicures and pedicures with Jeany who is always very nice, funny and accommodating. I have also gotten my first bikini wax here with minimal discomfort. I purchased a groupon and when I called to make an appointment for myself and a friend, they gave me a very hard time that they only had one nail tech available. When I went for my pedicure, I showed the person a picture of what I wanted (a simple chevron design on my big toe). The woman rushed through the pedicure (which was supposed to last 45 minutes- paradise pedicure) with no massage! She attempted the design and couldn't get it right. So, she insisted on doing something else- meanwhile her nails were digging so hard into the top of my toe that I had nail marks after and today bruising. She made up a different design and proceeded to charge me for it even though I asked for just polish after she couldn't do what I asked. I have been getting facials for over 28 yrs. For a birthday present, my mom gave me a facial and massage. The experience was awful. I then talked to the manager Cathy on the phone for quite some time. She was genuinely concerned and asked me to give her place another try. For the first time in 28 years, someone listened and corrected EVERYTHING I address. It was night and day. I had an awesome facial.....new facial bed, hand/arm massage, products. I was having a bad month, and was totally stressed. I was walking and I saw the Tea Spa Wellness Center. They gave me an appointment that day for a 90 minute hot stone therapy massage. Nadia was wonderful. She had me walking out of the spa feeling like a new person. Everything was soothing, and the receptionist was lovely. She made sure to get me a cup of green tea right away. I really couldn't have asked for a better experience. I have had a few massages in the past, but this one was simply amazing. I was so impressed that I signed up for a membership. I plan on going back very soon. Yes, the prices are a little higher than I am use to, but you pay for what you get. Also, with a membership, I can get lower pricing on return visits. read more

I think I was ripped off! My husband purchased a Groupon Coupon for a Guinot European facial. Rather than 60 minutes, I'm lucky if it lasted 30. My appointment was at 11 am. First, they had me fill out their form. Then I waited for the woman to take me back to her treatment room where I put on the robe they offered. I'm sure all that took at least 15 minutes or more. By 11:50 I was done, dressed and out the door. Even at a Groupon discount, this was not a bargain. read more

I had to write a 5-star review back in January 2015 in order to receive a complementary "Free" trial membership to gain access to reduced massage rates (see original review below in quotes) - just realized YELP has a policy against this.. https://biz.yelp.com/support/review_solicitation . The massage from Nadia was still great, but Tea Spa Wellness Center gets 1 star for running their business in a deceitful, money hungry/greedy manor, after canceling my "Free" trial membership during my massage. I had called on 8/28/2015 to setup an appointment with Nadia, I had verified that I was still a member as the receptionist told me that I was still in the account, with no mention that my membership expired. They quoted me $88 over the phone for the member pricing, I ended up booking on Saturday, 8/29/2015, because Nadia wasn't free on Friday afternoon. I arrived at Tea Spa Saturday afternoon, and I was told I could pay now or later, and I agreed to pay after the massage. When I got out of my 1.5 hour massage, I was told that my membership had suddenly expired, and that I needed to pay the non-membership price of $145 for a deep tissue massage, ~$50 more than what I was expecting to pay, and I had already planned to leave a $20 tip for the massage.. The receptionist had this smirk on her face like she was getting one over on me as she was successfully extorting more cash from me than what I had initially wanted to spend. What was retarded was how the receptionist was trying to sell me a 1-year membership for an additional $45, claiming how much money I would save from the jacked up massage rate.. WTF - first, you don't tell me about my expired membership so that I get a 35% rate increase, and then you try to upsell another membership to me for another $45?? This shit was seriously pre-meditated, and because I didn't have the "trial membership" length in writing, I wasn't going to argue in front of other customers about the validity of what they were doing. They basically canceled my "free" trial membership right before I paid to jack up the pricing. I wonder how many other people they have done this too? Any other legitimate business would tell you upfront that your membership has expired, or after realizing they misquoted a customer over $50, they would honor their original quote.. Enjoy the review, I won't be coming back even though Nadia is an awesome masseuse, paying $165 for 1.5 massage is totally not worth it and can be used for a 3 hour massage from someone else with comparable skills and results. First and last time. Not having seen the place before I booked was my first mistake. When checking in - I wasnt greeted kindly, but merely with a "you're early" comment. Sitting area dirty and overloaded with months-old magazines. The facial was frankly something I could have done at home. She offered no bolster for my knees (for low back support), she used her hands to spread all cleansers, creams and masks - no brushes, which resulted in a drippy damn mess down my neck/back, and she used no steam but proceeded to do extractions on "dry" skin. Seriously? She gave me a 20 min mask and left the room. In professional spas, they massage your hands and feet while your mask sits - not here. The outrageous laughter from the front girls throughout the facial made it impossible to relax. When finished, all she said was "ok you can get up". If you are a veteran to high-end, professional spas, do not use these services. You will be disappointed. read more

Tried out the 1 hour Guinot Signature Facial thanks to a Groupon deal that my husband gifted me. I got there 5 minutes late and was rushed in to do my facial. The aesthetician said the facial would be only 50 minutes long because I was late and they had back to back facials booked. However my facial felt extremely rushed and lasted a grand total of 45 minutes after which there wasn't next client waiting around at all. While the aesthetician seemed friendly and said she had 40 years of experience the entire facial was not relaxing as she kept talking about the brand of products she was selling in the store and kept talking throughout the facial. Her phone went off and she never even apologized. However the real reason I'm giving this place a 1 star for facials is that she wore RUBBER GLOVES THROUGHOUT THE FACIAL! I've been getting facials for at least a decade and this has never,ever, happened-maybe during extractions for hygiene but not through the whole facial! Can you imagine the sensation of those gloves rubbing against my face the whole time? This will probably be the first facial that I leave having extra wrinkles. To add to that she kept slathering on the creams like she was spreading frosting on a cake and getting it into my lips and tugging on my hair whenever she leaned over my face during extractions. My hair stylist recommend a particular mani/pedi technician to me at Tea Spa. She uses her herself so I trusted her opinion. The Tea Spa is two doors down from my hair salon, so if it worked out this spelled maximum convenience for me. I went in after my hair appointment to see the place (yes, they do only have 2 pedi stations but I am fed up with the conveyor belt philosophy for something that is to promote relaxation) and see if Maryam was there. She was there, greeted me, and helped schedule my appointment for the next day. They do have a membership deal which saves you money off each service, but it wasn't mentioned at all which I appreciated since it spared me the heavy sales push. The day of my appt. I chose a mani/pedi. Maryam was there and we started on time. I was offered water or tea. Can I tell you that I do not remember the last time someone spent almost an hour on my feet alone. I truly felt like I was having a "spa" treatment. You pay a little more, but there is supposed to be a difference between having your nails done at a typical nail salon and a spa. I was definitely treated to the "spa" experience. By the time she finished it was after 4pm. I asked Maryam if it was possible for me to switch to a gel/shelac mani instead. Even though she had a family trip to the airport that she had to do, she graciously accommodated me. The job was done perfectly. For me an excellent mani/pedi means: (1) color extends to the sides of nails completely, (2) toenails are cut exactly to the length requested, (3) feet are moisturized - particularly my heals and (4) drying time is appropriate. Maryam excelled at all. Even though my appointment time was extended due to my gel, she still took me to the back to show me where facials and massages are done and provided me with facial description literature.
