This is my 2nd time utilizing this business. 1st time at the Rockville location and this time at the Bethesda location... and both times, customer service, the received services, and the establishment were impeccable! At the Rockville location, my massage therapist was Michelle, and at this location, my massage therapist was JennyChen. Today, I was in desperate need of a massage, so I booked the Refreshing Day Spa package, and it was all that and more! The space was inviting and warm and cozy! Lately, I have been going through the absolute definitely of stress, and I have been long overdue for some me time. I originally booked my appointment for 230pm, but my dad unexpectedly got admitted to the hospital, so I had to move my appointment to a bit later, 430pm. When I called, the young lady who answered the phone was not only understanding but empathetic. She wished my dad well and that it would be no problem if I needed to reschedule to another day. That went a long way with me, and her kindness really helped my day and what I was dealing with. I made it to my appointment on time and was greeted cheerfully. I was quickly taken back and given a chance to use the bathroom and change. The host then explained the packaged I purchased and the time breakdown and how much time i should allow for my services, which is also given in your booking confirmation but I liked the fact that they reiterated it. My massage was superb, and sufficient time was given everything. In the end, I was offered tissue, green, ginger or lemon tea, or spa water. I chose ginger tea, of course, lol! And they even give you a small snack as well... I sat outside on the patio and enjoyed my tea and snack and relaxed until the rain let up! Needless to say, this was most definitely an enjoyable experience, and even though I haven't purchased the membership yet, I plan to be back at least once a month from now until forever! My interaction with Health is Wealth began with an innocent miscommunication, which I'm ashamed to say was largely on me. Despite this small misstep, which could have blown into something much larger, the staff were very patient with me and were quick to respond to my concerns. When I arrived for my rescheduled appointment, I was quickly shown into a very clean, peaceful, and simply and tastefully appointed space. The skill and expertise of my specialist was apparent. I don't know why, but the equipment was also noticeably more comfortable than at many other establishments I've frequented. I always have to reposition my face to find a comfortable position, but I didn't move the entire time I was face down. I also found the pillows placed under my calves and head at various points in the session to be notably comfortable. The space was also recently renovated, the space looks very nice, and it's apparent thought was invested in the redesign. Beware that there is no receptionist and the door is locked. Had to wait outside in the cold. Not a welcoming or pleasant place.

Be careful of 5 star reviews for this business. They are bribing people with free services if they provide one, see pic. This place is good for the price, which is very low. I wouldn't go for therapeutic treatment, however. I asked if they could provide a foot massage that would focus on my Achilles tendonitis and none of the work the provider did was related to that. It didn't seem that the therapist was professionally trained. If you just want a relaxing foot massage, however, this is a good deal. read more

I came here on a Groupon and was very pleased. Staff were friendly and place was clean, and I guess I had mentioned it on the phone the massage was for my birthday, and they upgraded me to stones and oil for free. After a very nice massage that went the full time (some places gyp you!), as I was getting dressed, the in-room speaker changed to playing instrumental "Happy Birthday," which was so cute and appreciated. Great massage place for acupressure(pressure)! Usually general oil massage are too close with the masseuse, but acupressure is the better choice at this situation. The masseuse is very nice and did a great job on me, with all quality one-time use equipment, contact-free massage sheets, mask and gloves. Love this clean place. read more
