A friend of mine really enjoys Tea Street, so she took me there. I got the lavender milk tea with boba. The milk tea was really good. It tasted like lavender without being overbearing. The strange thing is that the tea was blue. Aesthetically pleasing though. (4 stars) I wasn't a huge fan of the boba. The first couple of sips was fine. They were nice and soft and chewy. They quickly hardened though, which wasn't as fun to eat. (2 stars) The customer service was great. They let us know what drinks were in season. They brought the drinks out. They checked in with us. (5 stars) Overall, I would go again if I'm in the area. I don't think I'd go out of my way to go though. read more

The owners take incredible pride in making sure their products are made with the finest-qualty ingredients-- often shipped directly from Taiwan. With COVID restrictions in place, they've still managed to not sacrifice an ounce of delicious goodness in their teas and drinks while maintaining high standard safety protocols. First off, service was quick and contactless which was a great response to COVID! My order was a simple Passion fruit green tea with boba and lychee jelly, no ice, and no adjustments to the sugar, it was slightly on the sweeter end for my taste, but was definitely still tarte and delicious. The green tea was very prominent in the drink itself and I enjoyed how fragrant the tea was! My cousin ordered a Kumquat green tea with boba and she was also very thrilled with the drink! This was by far the worst boba tea I've had. I don't know about the other flavors, but I got the Thai milk tea, the winter melon cloud tee, and the taro milk tea and all 3 were not a hit. Along with this the bottom of my cup ended up exploding all over my car. For now, I will not be going back to this boba shop. read more

OMG, the taro tea is soo good. You can taste the authentic taro flavor of Taiwan and they even have small taro bits in your drink. The Boba is perfect chewiness and sweetness I also tried the Jasmine green milk tea and you can taste the tea leaves. Tea Street is truly a hidden gem. read more

The setup was a little weird, but actually kind of nice for COVID. The store appears closed, but it isn't. You have to call to make your order and give your credit card over the phone. Yes yes yes!! I have found some bomb milk tea and I'm so excited!! My coworkers wanted to all social distance over boba tea and a one suggested this cute place. When we pulled up the cutest bike cart was parked out front. This is the perfect spot to take a cute pic or selfie so take advantage! At this time the menu is online or posted next to the entrance door. And the best way to order is on the phone. On the door there are clear directions on what to do to receive your order. I highly recommend getting a bundle because it's way easier to order and a great deal. Unfortunately you cannot go inside and enjoy your beverage at this moment. However staff was very nice and sweet even from a distance. I also was able to take a peek in the window and it had the cutest wood tables with lots of plants inside. We have been going there since they opened and the quality of the drinks have not changed. If anything, it improved. No artificial flavors or powders. Always fresh ingredients. My favorite place in Denver for Boba. I've really enjoyed the tiger milk tea and their Thai tea. The Boba has been a great texture every time. I like that they have different drink add-ins, tea flavors, and that you can adjust the ice and sweetness level. I hope eventually they get a bigger variety of non-dairy options. read more

I have been vegan for about 7 years now and I never really get Boba because I assumed that everywhere was sneaking milk powder in their mix. I called to ask and they said everything on their menu was vegan by default. This place is bomb because they use fresh produce. The first thing that I ever ordered from there was a Taro smoothie...and there were literally chunks of Taro in there. Amazzzing. Really great boba! There are many boba spots in Denver and this is one of the better ones. A fair amount of flavor options and several add ins. The boba is the star for me. The texture is just right, chewy but not mushy. The main thing I look for in boba is that there is flavor in the boba itself, not just from the drink or a soaking syrup- I don't like flavorless chewy balls. The boba here has a wonderful brown sugary flavor to it! I also highly recommend the coconut jelly and mango pudding. The workers are always very friendly. When dine in was a thing the atmosphere was very bright, welcoming, and aesthetically pleasing. Now they're just doing takeout and I can tell they really care about the safety of their staff and patrons. Coconut milk tea and passion fruit green tea have never let me down. One of the best if not the best boba place I've been to! I'm from Dallas and we have a plethora of options when it comes to boba. Tea street is a magnificent option because they sweeten all of their drinks with in house made syrups and natural flavoring! My favorite drink I've gotten there was the longan milk tea, and I was told (and could taste) that the only thing sweetening the tea was longan juice. There were chunks in there as well! I went there every single day during my snowboarding trip, and it's a must try for anyone who is a boba lover or is just craving a delicious, natural tasting drink. I also tried the orange and grapefruit green teas there and wow! They're not as good as the longan but the true presence of orange and grapefruit were not only apparent, they added so much, subtlety, to the teas and made tea street one of my favorite boba spots. read more

When I think of Denver, I think of Tea Street. I'm from the Bay Area and used to live in LA, and Tea Street sticks out as one of my favorite tea places that I love to tell people about. Peach black tea with peach bits - It was peach season when I had this drink, and the peach bits were so fresh and so good. They were crunchy, which was unique and worked surprisingly well with the drink. The drink also maintained its tea flavor despite infusing a strong peach flavor, which I appreciated since it's too easy to make fruit teas taste too watery or too sweet or worse, syrupy (which this drink most certainly was not). I had a few of these during my visit. Sakura slush - I don't normally like slushes, but I was so impressed by this drink. First, this slush is a mix of red bean and strawberry, which I've seen separately but never together. Who knew that they could be complementary soulmates. Second was the texture. Slushes tend to be too icy, but this one was smooth, the secret being that they thaw the fruit before they blend it. Probably the only slush I'd ever order. There have been a few times that I've considered flying back to Denver just for Tea Street. Highly recommend. read more

I'm from the bay area and was craving some boba when I happened upon this neighboorhood gem. I am fairly picky about my boba/tea houses, but was pleasantly surprised at their house boba tea milk, which had a nice smooth taste. That milk tea was fairly reasonable, but then the owners gave me a sample of their peach house black tea, which made me realize that this place's true specialty is really their fruit drinks. This place really knows how to put fruit into drinks - I think the peaches were in season this time of year, but the crunchiness and sweetness of the peach bits just added a ton of dimension to the black tea. I've had other peach black teas before that I've really enjoyed (Boba Guys in the bay area), but nothing quite tasted like this drink, which was great. I liked the drink so much that I had to come back the next day (I was only in Denver for 2 nights, and discovered this on the first night), and got their Specialty Pineapple drink with boba and coconut jelly (substituting the boba for more coconut jelly), and was blown away at how refreshing the pineapple taste was. They are also really good about not adding a pile of sugar to the drink, so the natural flavors really come out. Aside from the pineapple drink, I also got a chance to try a semi-secret item on the menu: the sakura slush (strawberry + red bean slush) - again, I'm not even a huge fan of slushes, but they use the technique where they let the fruit melt a bit before putting it into the smoothie, resulting in less icy, and way smoother texture. As far as I can tell, this place is amazing for anything fruit related, and I wished that they had a location in the Bay Area. Growing up in NYC and living in New England for the past half decade, this is the first place I've been to that uses the actual high quality ingredients for their products. I first came across Tea Street when they were doing a pop up with Yuan Wonton near my house, and I was impressed. Their teas were well brewed and have *actual* fruit in them, which is a lot more than I can say for most bubble tea/boba places. Intrigued, I made the trek down to their store and tried out more of the menu - their milk teas are solid, they have lots of fruit tea options (like kumquat) that are harder to find in Denver, and their boba are always cooked well. I'm a huge fan of their seasonal menu, too - my go-to's are mango in the summertime and black sesame in the winter. Love their commitment to making great tea & boba and they've solidly won me over - I now make a point to go out of my way to go to Tea Street or stop by any time I'm nearby. read more
