It is his connection to the outside world and one of the few activities that keeps his mind engaged every day. His old computer had finally become obsolete, but replacing it was something we dreaded. Any major changes to the way it looked or worked would have been confusing and upsetting for him. The owner took the time to come to our home, listen carefully to our concerns, and understand my father's unique needs. Rather than trying to sell us the latest technology, he designed a solution around my father. He replaced the aging tower with a small, modern computer hidden on the desk, while making everything else feel exactly the same. The best part was hearing my father say, "It's exactly the same." To him, nothing had changed except that everything worked again. Seeing his smile and watching him comfortably return to using his computer without frustration was something our family truly appreciates.
