From the initial phone call until I picked it up, the crew at SB Autohaus explained everything they found, the work they needed my approval for to move forward and the detailed pricing that I should expect to see on the invoice. My car sat in my driveway for a couple years bc it was just cheaper to drive my Honda. When I took it in there was some type of leak, the brake fluid was sludge, my wipers were cracked and crusty. They kept my car for two days and replaced all the tubes and fluids that needed replacing. I was pretty adamant about getting new brakes but they said no, drive it around first because there was still a good amount of padding and I wouldn't need brakes for a while still. No upselling, no pushy "you might need this and this and this" like other places, just a clear and concise description of what needs to be done and a checklist of what to look out for in the future. After this experience there are two things I do know - I will probably buy another Benz bc of it's reliability and once it's out of the original factory warranty, I'll take it to SB Autohaus for Service A & B and whatever else needs repair.

Compared to the dealership, their prices are a great value. I had originally planned to have the work done at the dealership, but after learning about their 20% first-time customer discount, I decided to give them a try. Initially, I only needed my brake pads replaced. However, my car started displaying battery warnings, and both AutoZone and my Mercedes-Benz advisor confirmed that the battery needed to be replaced as well. Since I was already planning to come here for the pads I decided to have both services done here. I dropped my vehicle off around 2:00 PM, and it was ready by 9:00 AM the following morning, which was a very quick turnaround. My only concern came after reviewing the invoice. The total seemed higher than I expected, and after taking a closer look, I realized I had been charged a diagnostic fee for the battery. When I mentioned the warning messages, the staff said they would "check it out." Had I been told they would do a diagnostic to confirm and charge for that, I would have declined it and simply proceeded with the replacement. That said, this experience would not stop me from returning or recommending this shop. The service was professional, the staff was friendly, and the work was completed quickly. My only suggestion is that if you already know exactly what service your vehicle needs, make that very clear upfront so they don't run a diagnostic that is not needed.

They had the exact car I was looking for -- same color, year, make -- but even better: a bigger, nicer model with low miles and a great price. Jorge helped us through the process and made me and my husband feel confident and comfortable about our purchase. I explained my bad credit, but with a large down payment, they worked with me, showed me the interest rates from banks that approved me, and made everything smooth and transparent. They also included a 2-year warranty and assured me that if anything went wrong, I could bring it back and they'd take care of it. The car had a clean record and was well maintained, just as they promised. I'm so glad I ended up "on the wrong side" -- this turned out to be the best purchase of the year. Went with Santana Auto Group Service center because Chris talked to me like a human being without upselling me anything extra nor trying to get the most money out of my pockets. He identified the issue, explained in detail what needs to be fixed and gave me a reasonable quote. In the end, Chris gave me comfort that the issue was going to be fixed properly and as expected it was. It is really hard now in days to find an honest, truthful, no hassle, customer-comes-first type of customer service in just any field of work. But rest assure Santana Auto Group Service center is not one them. They earned my time, money, and respect so they are my new go-to auto service shop.

I decided to use CarGurus and AutoTrader phone apps as my primary search options. Looked at and test drove a bunch of options... Hyundai Veloster, Mazda M3, Toyota Matrix, Kia Soul, and Honda Element. Definitely nothing extravagant. Problem with used cars is finding cars with minimal issues. Look for good price but how much work will it need AFTER you buy it?? And used car dealers, are they keen on customer service? Most are not and have definitely met some rude ones during our search too. So our quest took us to ERNIE'S AUTO SALES in Chula Vista, because a car they Listed on CarGurus looked appealing. Being that it would be a bit of a drive for us, we needed to call ahead to get some details. Here, someone actually answered the phone promptly. THANK YOU! We spoke with Mr. Mario over the phone. "How's this? How's that? Blah, blah, blah". Not once once did he sound irritated, very respectful throughout. Told us "this is a good car, 9/10. And I've been in this business a long time!" Well sure enough, he was spot on, when we came to peep things out. Friendly greeting and cordial interaction the whole time. We wanted the car, and Mr. Mario and Mr. Ernie were both reasonable chaps as we worked the details out with them. No after market nonsense added in. Nice thing is that they wanted make sure everything was up to snuff before We drove it off. So we had to come back a few days later. They kept their word on everything they said. There was even a warranty offered with our car and when we found a few issues, the warranty was honored without issue. I COULD NOT BE ANY HAPPIER the way this experience went. Thank you Gentlemen! Every time I get it back within three to four days it would overheat and break down. These people claim to be Christian but take advantage of customers just to make a sale. The car I purchased had major engine issues and kept over heating. Don't trust these people I went to them for help after I have been a loyal customer for many years even though I purchased another vehicle before that had issues as well but I was in need of a vehicle and I got screwed over by them. Think twice before purchasing from them because you might end up with a lemon car like I did!

When she i formed me the waiter would be 3 hours with the oil change and alignment, I opted to get a ride home and not wait at the dealership. Came back 3 hours later because I had an event later than afternoon, spent money on an Uber because that was the cheapest (still not super cheap, but beggars can't be choosers), and arrived at the service department only to be told that they needed an additional 40 minutes. I said no, I needed to be somewhere. So she said they needed 15 minutes, cool. I could wait 15. 15 turned i to 30+ only to learn "hey, the machine didn't work, so you're good to go." In my head I'm like wait, so you have had my car for over 3 hours, and it took you that long to figure out your machine didn't work? I would have just stayed for the oul change, but now I dropped a pretty penny to get back here only to be told the machine was not working?! More frustrating, I keep trying to call the service department to speak to someone about getting reimbursed for the damn Uber. No luck getting through. I am definitely not happy right now.
