Additionally, there was debris or some foreign material trapped in the acrylic on one of my nails. When I pointed it out, the technician appeared frustrated that he had to redo the nail, rather than addressing the issue professionally. Overall, the customer service was poor, and I left feeling unheard, overcharged, and dissatisfied with the quality of the service. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this salon.

Normally other salons I have been to rip my cuticles up and make them bleed, but not here! Jessica the owner is super nice and always does an amazing job on my nails. They have helped customize the color for me each time and I've been so pleased with how it turned out. Update after owner response:…read more I want to clarify a few things in response to the owner's reply, because it does not reflect what happened. The conversation that led to this situation was not started by me. While I was in the chair, the discussion had already shifted into conspiracy topics. A client then came in and brought up the Israeli prime minister and his cancer, making comments expressing happiness about it. The tone of the conversation included laughter and engagement from others around, which made it extremely uncomfortable to sit through. As a Jewish customer, I felt put in a very difficult position, especially being mid-service and unable to simply step away. The direction of the conversation is what led me to speak up and say that I'm Jewish and that I didn't agree, even though I was genuinely nervous to do so. When I said that, there was a visible shift, people were caught off guard, apologized, and said they don't hate Jews, they "just hate him." That does not change what was said or how it came across in that moment. The owner was the one cutting my hair and was part of the conversation. When I said I needed to leave, I was already overwhelmed and in a state of panic. My hair was not finished, and I had to ask for clips to be removed so I could go. I then found myself at a locked door and had to wait to be let out, which added to the distress of the situation. I do want to be clear that I did verbally express myself strongly toward the end. I'm not denying that. My reaction came after everything I had just experienced, not before. The owner's response mentions creating a safe environment and staff feeling uncomfortable. I did not create that situation, I reacted to it. I was the one sitting in the chair while this conversation was happening around me. After I spoke up, the response included references to "Jewish support groups" and comparisons between Jewish people and the queer community that felt dismissive and out of place given the context.

I went here to get a brazilian wax and while I was changing I was looking at the equipment and I seen that the wax that she was heating up had previous been used on someone else because there was body hair inside of the wax. I was the first client of the day so that used wax had been sitting there all night which means no one cleans the office at the end of the day. I can't say that it I did not ask her to use new wax if she would have. This experience was one of the worst I have ever had. I never write reviews but this I feel needed to be shared.
