I initially contacted Team Lally because Chat told me about their Guaranteed Sale Program, which their website promotes as a way to sell your home quickly -- or they'll buy it. The website makes it sound straightforward and gives the impression that you can confidently move forward with purchasing another home. I mentioned this directly to Alesia Borja (MRP, SRES, PSA) before our Zoom meeting. As a listing partner with those credentials, I expected her to understand the program and explain how it works. Instead, the meeting turned into a long one-hour listing presentation, and the Guaranteed Sale Program was not discussed at all, even though that was the main reason I contacted them. Her follow-up response was that she would "connect me with the broker for clarity" and that the program is not designed for sellers who want a home sold in 30 days. That felt like my question was sidestepped rather than answered. Adding to the confusion, my husband listens to Adrienne Lally and Attilio Leonardi on their Saturday morning radio show, where they consistently say that "if they cannot sell your home, they will buy it." That messaging is very clear, yet the explanation I received suggested the reality may be much more limited. Because of that, the Guaranteed Sale Program felt more like a marketing hook to draw people in rather than something clearly explained upfront. Pros: Organized general listing presentation. Cons: The Guaranteed Sale Program, heavily promoted on their website and radio show, is not what it appears to be. Despite this being the main reason I contacted them, the program was not discussed at all during the meeting. Adrienne knew I already have a realtor, who would facilitate my purchase while Team Lally would sell my home, yet the program was still sidestepped. No follow-up has been received. read more

Long story, well, long. Absolutely adore Howard and Keli'i (and of course, the entire team). They went above and beyond. Although we are still in the process of finalizing selling our home (with them as well), we are overall happy with the entire experience. We stumbled upon Team Lally when we were checking out a neighborhood for a property we saw on zillow before committing. I saw the "Team Lally" sign outside of the house, and called just to see if we could get some info on it. We were supposed to be working with a different realtor, and was supposed to meet him that weekend (as he said he was available to meet us during that weekend), but ending up, he kind of blew us off, even though he was the one that said he was available! (I understand that he has his own life, but he literally said he was available, and then said "no", didn't even offer to meet us before or after whatever he said he was going to do). So it was a little off putting. I left a voicemail, just to see if we could get a showing for this property with Team Lally, and sure enough, Howard later calls/texts me shortly after and sets a time! Upon meeting Howard for the initial meeting, he was very on point. He had his presentation, answers to any questions we had, and seemed ( and is ) very knowledgeable, to where we went with Howard, since we never met the realtor we were supposed to work with and had no commitment to him. We opted for the person who communicated better with us basically. During the process, we met his partner, Keli'i. They are both fun and very enthusiastic about helping us. The service they provided was impeccable. From the late nights of last minute showing appointments, just emailing us info on properties late into the night (when I wouldn't blame them if they didn't after a certain time, because they do have lives), giving us their recommendations on what they believe is fair to offer/ask for on properties, answering our calls throughout the random hours of the day, and so much more! Their years of service, knowledge and individualism really shows. We learned so much about realty (even though it's probably just a scratch of their knowledge) that we never even knew about! They got us the best deal, and fought for anything until we finally closed. Which is today! We get the keys tonight. I could go on and on about how they are amazing, which they are, but, just to get this review to a end, I couldn't be happier we stumbled upon them. I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone. I keep receiving phone calls from this company asking if I am interested in selling property. I have told them numerous times I do not own this property and that they have the wrong number and to remove me from the calling list. Somehow, I continue to receive calls from individuals, stating they are with this company asking if I'm interested in selling. They really need to get their records in order so they stop harassing people and not look so money hungry. Update: After the first round of calls from the same person asking me for Iris. I told them I was not her and asked, how did you get this number? They told me they found her number on Spokeo! and that my number was somehow linked to her property they were showed interest in. I do not believe anyone signed up to receive a report using my number if I'm being told they searched for it on spokeo. It may be your policy to only contact people who signed up for a report but your associates aren't following that policy and that is incredibly unprofessional. read more

I have just read every review listed here for Team Lally. I always suggest reading each review CLOSELY. I would like to start off by saying we are a military family of 4 that moved here from Alaska in 2016.We had touched base with Team Lally prior to arriving on the island based on another amazing agents suggestion we had in Alaska. Team Lally from the start inquired about what we were looking for and a budget. They even educated us on the market here (which is very unique) before we arrived. When we arrived, we met our agent on day 1 and starting looking at every property we had found as well as ones they suggested that hadn't hit the MLS yet. We looked at properties everyday until we had seen all for sale. I have to see everything before I can make a decision. We saw some amazing homes but couldn't find the exact one. Our agent called us one night around 7 pm to tell us about a property that was above our price range, but might work. He went to bat for us and we were able to negotiate the price down to our budget. If you know anything about Hawaii, this is unheard of. I tell you all of this so when I say they will do their part if you do yours, and they will not give up until you are homeowners. Fast forward to 2020 and we are due to retire. We reach out to Team Lally a few months in advance to start discussing strategy and what home improvements they recommended. We came up with a game plan and they were able to put us in contact with a trusted source from contractors to carpet cleaners. During one of our weekly discussions (yes they called weekly for a check in), they mentioned a Coming Soon to test the market. They sent out a professional photographer to take pictures, put a sign out front, and listed it as a coming soon just to test the interest. Literally Day 1 we received an offer for an amount that we couldn't turn away. Team Lally and their team was nothing short of perfection during both our buying and selling process. I would like to offer a few pointers for potential home buyers here in Hawaii. Real Estate agents have a job to do, but so do you as the buyer and seller. Truth is no one is going to care more about you than yourself. This market is a very fast paced one, unlike any other I have seen, and it takes a team effort to make a deal happen. She made sure that we had no surprises at any point in the escrow process. She also guided us to the best mortgage company on the island for VA loans. Let me start off by saying TEAM LALLY is INCREDIBLE. It starts at the top. They have great and experienced leaders who put together great team to help my family and I sell our townhouse and buy our first single family home. I watched Team Lally's video on YouTube and was impressed. I then inquired about their services and eventually someone answered the many questions I usually ask other property managers. In my investigations they made promising answers to my questions, however, when I pressed them for more details on how they would enforce the rules to prevent tenants from damaging my rental property they could not provide convincing explanations. I then asked that they send me an application but they never did which makes me assume they only want easy property owners that they can manipulate and collect easy 10% for themselves. My conclusion is they did not want to deal with someone who has detailed questions and someone who is overly concerned about bad tenants. A note for all potential property owners thinking of going into the rental business be very careful of Property Managers who are just being a middle man and be very careful of bad tenants (believe me there are many bad ones out there and the landlord - tenant laws protect the tenants more). read more

Seemed to start out OK. Ryan was obviously a new agent. He relied on Laura for the answers to the questions I asked. That is fine, that is how you learn. Decide not to buy the first property I offered on. They were supposed to set up appointments for me to see 3 properties when I got to Hawaii and I would make an offer on one, or two of them. Never heard that the appointments were made eventhough nearly a week went by. I sent an email asking if it was scheduled and that I wanted to make an offer on one sight unseen. Never heard from them and so I sent a second email to be sure they got it. Soon the phone rang and it was Laura and Ryan on a conference call with me. They were so concerned that they weren't giving me the best service that they were going to turn me over to another agent. And not even an agent with their company! I was being let go as a client. It was so obvious that they weren't going to make enough commission on my condo to be worth their time. So they dropped me! It wasn;t even worth the possibility that I might buy multiple properties, which I intended to do or that I might give them several referrals where they might make a tidy sum. So my suggestion, if you are buying a multi-million dollar home, then these people might be just right for you. But if you are just in the market for a small place for yourself, forget it and go to another agency who values their customers not just for the dollar amount they can put into their pockets. In March 2020 we met with Team Lally to put our place on the market and understood that it could take a little longer to sell due to covid. House went active Mid April, and we got an offer about 6 weeks later, that offer fell through. After that we barely heard from anyone on the team and they could only recommend taking the house off the market for 15 days and then relist. Being military and having a time line with them didn't mean a thing. House was relisted the end of June, and closed yesterday Sept. 2. During this time my husband had to change his flight 3 times, and he repainted the whole house as well as fix little things trying to make the house more appealing. With absolutely no input from any of the team members from lally. They definitely did not live up to their promise, of selling the house...oh and we reduced the house down to 515k while other units with less space were selling for 535-550k easy. Still no help from lally. Once my husband was able to leave the island lally began adding fees and unexpected requirements, which we had absolutely no way of filling do to our family being in NY. They are very quick at taking there percentage and no regrets when they screw you over..definenlty DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! read more

Kevin was always available to answer my calls or emails at any time of the day, and he always filled me in on the status of everything. I don't know how many clients he usually has simultaneously, but I literally felt like I was the only one because of how much of his attention was devoted to me. HOME SEARCHING: Kevin hooked me up with their interactive listing search, which has far more details and search parameters than the other sites I was using (like zillow and trulia). It even gives specific data on maintenance fees in addition to HOA fees (unlike zillow which only tells you HOA fees). Additionally, Kevin would email me any time a home popped up that matched my search parameters that we established during the consultation. Overall, I hardly had to do any searching on my own and Kevin found the right house for us. In the end, I found the perfect house and I paid the price that I wanted for it.
