Perhaps it was the below-freezing temperature and my attempt to drive my vehicle without sufficiently warming it up that prompted the throttle light to come on, I will definitely contact C & A when my vehicle does need servicing. I want to give Team One Auto Group a big fat kudos. I was looking for a new HONEST mechanic after the one I have been taking my cars for services, from inspections to tuneups to break jobs. Until we went in to inspect one of our cars and our "mechanic" passed the emissions but failed the safety supposedly because the front rotors were grooved and the break pads needed replaced. The thing that raised a flag was the fact that I did my own pre-inspection, and I knew for a fact my brakes were good. I then took it to another garage and had them check my brakes and wouldn't you know it they were like brand new ( I only drive this vehicle less than a couple thousand miles a year). They issued a safety sticker and I returned to now my former mechanic to collect my money for the safety sticker I paid for originally and also advise Ronny @ Dickson motors that he was a fraud. I had another vehicle due for inspection but no mechanic. Anyhow I called several places and kept receiving a price between $60-100, that is until I found Team One Auto Group online and saw they were offering a special in inspections. I called and spoke with Steve who couldn't be more polite. He was able to fit me in early the next day despite calling late in the day. They performed the inspection as I watched and was pleased to see Pete the tech check all important components. I also don't drive this particular vehicle too much either so I knew everything should have been fine. 20 minutes later he was done and placed my stickers and told me that as I assumed that everything checked out, so to end this review I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TEAM ONE AUTO GROUP IN YORK, ask for Steve and he'll take care of your vehicle and do whatever it takes to make you a priority. Great experience will definitely be making them my go to mechanic from here on forwards. By the way the special they had was for $24.99 each for either inspection or oil change, can't beat that. read more

I went there recently to have an issue with my Nissan checked over for a noise. I dropped it off and Steve told me that he would have them look it over and call me if they could find an issue. I used to be a mechanic and know my car pretty well and already knew what was going on with it. Sure enough, Steve called me and told me exactly what I thought was wrong with it and not anything more. He was a very professional guy and his honesty and manners earned my business. Their price was reasonable and I appreciated their honesty and told them to go ahead and do it, so they did and had it back on time at the time promised. I have a few nice high end cars so its nice to know that there are mechanics out there who wont take advantage. Definitely recommend these guys, they are a must-visit. read more

Finding a reliable, ethical auto repair service is, unfortunately, not as easy as one would think. I recently took a gamble and tried Team One and was pleasantly surprised. I took my truck in for a routine inspection and emissions inspection knowing full well that my front brakes and rotors were borderline. They were on-time and fast with the inspection and the quote for the pad and rotor change was well below the quote I received from the dealership ( yes, I shopped around for the front brake work prior). In fact, including parts and labor with compatible OEM parts, their quote was 40% less than the dealership service department, twice as fast, and far more personable. I'll obviously be a return customer. read more

After trying to find a trustworthy auto service and repair place for 15 years of living in this area, I have found it. Steve, (Manager), at the York location has been awesome in his service. Never pushy, always listens first and clearly recommends service second. Gentle, honest, and understanding. They have always worked with my schedule and my budget. I have not been the customer who needs the high $ repair,and in fact I have only needed maintenance work done on my 99 Accord and 13 Pilot. First time customer. Took my 2007 Toyota 4Runner in for State Inspection and Oil change. I was extremely impressed how the manager (Steve) was so friendly and courteous. They found my brakes were worn down very low, which I thought there might be a problem because they did not feel like they were stopping correctly.They also took the time to show and explain the issue to me in the shop.
