As usual I never check to see when my car inspection is due. This year was no different. So it's Thursday before the 4 th of July and I realize my car was due in June. I start calling to get an appointment.first the dealership I bought my car. Three weeks. Second , i won't mention but the guy in on the phone, and I quote, " you're a funny guy"!! Really? That's how you treat your customers? Guess who the funny guy is? And I'll never recommend your place, ever!! The third wielands on transit near Clinton. The voice on the phone was extremely pleasant and said the best she could do was Monday at 12:30 I said ok. She said if you can come in early sometimes we can get you right away. Monday came. I did as she said. Was welcomed by a very pleasant man. Told where to pull my car. I got out and soon , like 5 mins my car was getting inspected. The mechanics were pleasant and didn't try to upsale anything and just did the inspect . It passed and I was out before my 12:30 time. I paid and I would be recommending their business. So if you want to be treated like a moron, go anyplace but Wielands. Because here you're gonna be treated with respect and know that you vehicle is going to be treated with utmost care. Not a chain. Friendly employees, quick service. I always come here for my inspections. They send you reminders with money off. I'll take it! I've stopped here several other times with random things. Charged me $200 for a total hackjob exhaust repair. Told me they'd repair the exhaust flange and when I went and saw this I was appalled. After going back and talking to them about it they were so confident in such a hackjob of a repair. Telling me that "most people don't look under their cars" and "it's quiet right?" I have spent thousands of dollars there in repairs, have brought numerous family members cars there and was a very loyal customer. I have had nothing but good experiences with Wieland, both before and during the COVID-19 crisis. Their prices are fair, and the work is always done well. On my first visit for a minor repair, they pointed out that my tires didn't have the tread depth they needed, which was quite true. I could not stay long enough to get the tires replaced but said I would be back. Now I suppose a lot of people say the same thing and never return. However, they were kind enough not to charge me for the repair, and I did come back for new tires. I recommend Wieland highly. read more

Ruined my 2006 pontiac gto. Told me they would get oem parts and instead they were luk parts. German manufacturer.Ruined the sound of my car. It's a classic last year it was made . Have had my last two inspections here. The staff are friendly and polite and the prices have been reasonable. The sitting area inside is comfortable, cozy, and filled with books and interesting old photos and racing trophies. If you wait for your service it is completed in a reasonable time. I have also been offered a ride home though I've never taken them up on that service. My intuition and experience so far says they're an honest local family business. I've never been asked to repair something that didn't need repair and I'd trust them for any auto services I may have in the future. If you're looking for a local auto repair place Wieland is worth a try. They've also always been able to fit me in within a day's time when I inevitably forget to get my inspection till the last moments. read more

I would not recommend this so called auto repair shop. I asked them if I could bring a tire in for repair. Sure they said we will have our tire guy call you. Well couple days went by and no call. I contacted this establishment again and was told I will get a call back TODAY. Well of course there was no call back to a potential customer. I don't like places that don't honor their word. It goes back to good old customer service and first/second impressions and these people couldn't care less. Use someone else. read more

Very friendly environment. My experience with the service was not great. Took my vehicle in for an alignment cause they said they have a Hunter machine but ended up getting my vehicle the same way I took it in. Joel mentioned to me bout what's wrong with my alignment but gave me the wrong paper work with the wrong specs that he said was done. Did not provide me a before spec as well. Requested for a refund sat and Nancy mentioned I will get it in the mail Monday. Called today, Wednesday, and said they just sent it out today in the mail. If they knew they don't do alignments for foreign cars they should have just told me in the get go. read more

They do minimal effort and they cost me TWO cars because of it. My family and I stopped taking our cars there. They scam you to the max. They also broke my windshield and dented my whole hood and didn't even give me a discount on what I originally brought it in for and the problem wasn't even fixed when I got it back... 1000$ later.
