I fully recommend Brady Thomas and his team. I refinanced my mortgage with them. It just closed, and everything went smoothly. They are in Oakland, and I'm in Menlo Park, so I never met them in person; we did everything over the phone and using their secure portal (which is quite easy to use). They explained everything, and answered all my questions. They had a notary come to my house for the signing (which we did in our back yard, with masks on). I was a little concerned near the beginning, when they sent me a "Loan Estimate" that had higher costs than we'd agreed on. But Brady explained that those were just "standard estimates", and he showed me, line-by-line, which ones would be reduced in my case. Sure enough, the final costs were just what he'd promised. The only thing to bear in mind is that everyone is trying to re-finance now , so Brady and team are dealing with a LOT of applications. As a result it took about 4 business days for him to actually lock the loan, which he warned me about in advance. It's a nice touch that he donates $250 from his commission on each loan to the charity of your choice. My rate is low enough that I doubt I'll need to refinance again, but if I do I will definitely call Brady. read more
