Very helpful when it comes to wheel repair. Although they are primarily a machine shop, they also repair wheels. My right front wheel was noticeably bent and was causing a shimmy with my steering which brought me to bringing my wheel there. Unfortunately I don't remember the names of the owners of the establishment but a friendly knowledgeable woman greets you as her husband comes out to greet you as well. I tell them my issue and they informed before coming in because i called to tell me that they prefer to have the tire off the wheel because they do not have the proper equipment to remove and rebalance your wheel. So I would recommend if you can, remove the tire before coming to them for repairs, just to save them the hassle. None the less after receiving my wheel back, the shimmy was still there however it was greatly reduced which proved it was part of the issue I was having with my steering and was solved. I later found my inner tie rod was loose causing most of my vibration. However as I was working as a Dealership technician at the time, the wheel balance was a night and day difference after getting my wheel back from them. I wish I could have taken a video for this review but I did not think about it at the time. 3/29 Bad repair and terrible customer service!!! Why would anyone have company redo work that was bad to begin with. They were rude to us. The wife treating us in a condescending tone raising her voice to us as if we were children. Completely unprofessional. They did bad work the first time and certainly No reason to suspect they would have done any better the second time and NOONE needs to stand around and be talked to poorly and be insulted. Again I would refer you to others comments of their experience with this "duo" and their lack of professionalism and customer service. They do great work. But they failed to inform me . Ahead of time that it was going to cost more than I was quoted!. They didn't call to inform or confirm if I want to go ahead with the work!!. If I could put NO stars I would. POOR POOR and VERY POOR service! I had dropped off my wheel because my seals were leaking and needed repair to have them resealed. Note: my wheels were in good condition and intact. When I picked it up, the wheel had a big chunk of my chrome missing, different from how I dropped it off (intact). When I asked the manager what happened, she explained to me that the chrome was cheap and when it gets repaired the chrome will inevitably crack. The manager was adamant about NOT taking any responsibility for the damages that was made to my wheel. Rest assure my wheel was NOT cheap whatsoever. If I did NOT make the damages to my wheel prior to dropping it off at the shop, why should I be held responsible instead of the shop when it was them that made the damages during the process of repair? I did not understand and I was just in awe. Through our altercation, I wanted to make it clear to her that if I knew my chrome will crack, why would I go ahead with the repair job? In addition, as an "expert" on wheels, why did the manager NOT advise me about possible damages to the chrome if I were to attempt to reseal my wheels? Clearly, She was speechless and could not come up with an answer. She kept making excuses, exuded unprofessionalism, and spoke to me in the most patronizing and belittling tone of voice. Last but not least, towards the end of the dispute, the manager said that I was NOT allowed to speak to her because I was uneducated about wheels, she refused to explain herself and the blatantly told me that the conversation is over. However, during our conversation, one of her employees in the back, tried to get her attention, to tell her that she was referring to a different wheel and the wheel I was making a complaint about is the 22in 3 wheel. In conclusion, it was brought to my attention that the manager did NOT know a darn thing she was talking about (esp which wheel she was referring to), her excuses were BS, took NO responsibility for the damages, NO professionalism, had NO work eithics, and above all, I was NOT the only wheel that was damaged in her shop. BEWARE! DO NOT COME HERE!! Unless you do NOT care about your wheel or you have NO education on wheels because that's who they want to target as their consumers. This review is a few months overdue.. but at least I got around to writing it... right?!? Visited Team Three after an alloy wheel on my previous car became bent and cracked, and thus couldn't retain air. I needed new tires anyway, so I visited a tire shop in Oakland for some new pilot sports (yesss!). Got home and realized one of my tires was leaking, and assumed it was a defective tire. Turns out the tire was fine, and my wheel was damaged which would cost hundreds to replace.. I decided to look online for a better alternative and found Team Three! Left my wheel overnight, and it was fixed soon after. Had the wheel installed by the tire shop, (the owner is now referring his customers to Team Three as well) and 5 months later the rim is still holding up! Used them a few times - owner is a standup guy. Machinists are all friendly and want to take care of business. I've had some wheels' centerbore machined to be larger to fit a different car's hub bore than the wheel was originally designed for. If super busy you'll have to drop off the wheels for a few hours, but usually you just wait 15 min. and they'll be done. Cash only, no tire can be mounted, really straight forward. I had bought these wheels used a couple years back and was looking for a place to repair the wheels, finally came across this shop and looked at their ig pictures and site, a mom and pop shop with many years of experience, so decided i would come check it out. upon arriving I met Scott and he checked out my wheels, i needed to fix two bends and a bunch of curb rashes. couple days later i get a call that they are finished. Came to pick them up and was amazed at how they looked, I was so doubtful that the damage could be repaired, but it looked almost brand new. Ok first and foremost this place is a joke. I am a well known car enthusiasts in the car community. Ive been to many different shops and have never experienced this much poor customer service. I came in to get a quote and brought my wheel in unmounted as well. So while i wait for the associate to give me a quote this lady that clearly knows anothing about wheels other than the ones they manufacture is asking me questions about where i had the rim "rebarreled" because the job was done very "poor" according to her. I told her the name of the shop and she laughed and said " they dont work on wheels, they send it to us" so... shes pretty much telling me T3 did a shitty job. Anyways the other associate comes in with a bad attitude telling me multiple things wrong with the wheel and it cannot be repaired which has to be rebarreled. His phone rings and he starts talking on the phone to someone that did not sound like a customer due to the casual conversation about sports they were having. While i wait for a price i had enough and i walked out. Ive talked to 3 wheel places and was shopping around before i get the repair. So alls i wanted was a quote. I came here to get my rims fixed because they were cracked. Ended up knowing that the mechanic stole my tire pressure sensor and replaced a cheap rubber one instead of it. I found out about it because on my dashboard, it shows up the tire pressures for all wheels and the wheel that i gave to get it fixed was not showing any information. Scott, the owner is a super straight shooter and an all around nice guy. He was able to repair a bent 20" Porsche wheel that 3 other very well known wheel repair places said was unrepairable. They said it was a center bent wheel and needed to be replaced. Scott was able to make a perfect repair with a two day turn around. He saved me $1,700 that Porsche wanted for a replacement. Nice to know that we actually have businesses in this country that can build things. And repair things too. These guys took a badly out of true chrome wheel and made it serviceable again. And if you don't know, no one deals with chrome in this country anymore. These guys dealt with it like champs. The guy who complained about his chrome chipping off is way off base with these guys, they let me know it was possible it might chip, and if it had I wouldn't have blamed them, but because of customers like that, no one will deal with a chrome wheel. Who would have ever thought there was a wheel company right in my backyard that walked me thru the entire process of measuring the backspacing, how to test fro wheel widths, tire widths, etc... I had went to see if they could repair a couple bent wheels &leaky beads I'd been having trouble with. A few friends had highly recommended this shop. Long story short, from the first moment I came in to the last second that they squeezed my money out of me, they had spoken to me in a really condescending matter. The shop owner would scoff &speak to me as if I didn't know what I was talking about. In fact, when I came in about my bent wheels, he laid them on a table &even flipped it onto it's face (polished, AC Schnitzer Type 3101A wheels, mind you - but regardless of wheel brand, basically handled them with absolutely no care) on his dirty table &told me they looked fine. So I left my wheels with him after basically begging him to at least take a closer look at them, while he continued doing his work as if I wasn't there. Came back in a whole week (if not more) after receiving a call from his wife, &while she claimed the wheels were done, my wheels &even tires (which were not removed) were completely scratched up, dusty, &absolutely filthy, and he did not fix the bends or the leaks. My wheels looked like they'd been untouched since I'd left. I wanted to take my wheels &leave, but his wife refused to let me without me driving to the bank to withdraw &pay them $320 in cash. For them messing up 2 of my polished wheels &no work done. At that point I didn't even care anymore &wanted to rid myself of them. I feel like I got this treatment because I am a female, considering I know a couple guys who had actually highly recommended this shop to me. I am a female car enthusiast and worked in the past as a mechanic for about 5 years (until I got a much better paying job with less sexist customers, lol), &I am never going to them again, or recommending them to anyone, ever. I am also not at all a difficult person to talk to or deal with &their prices seemed reasonable after having friends recommend them, &when I'd assumed they did great work. Shortly after I found an excellent wheel shop who put my wheels on the balancer within seconds of my mentioning the bends &indeed saw the bends. No scoffing. Excellent turnaround time, customer service, handling of your wheels, PRICE, &display of expertise from beginning to end. If you're reading this &want to know what shop that is, do not hesitate to let me know. T3 is now a joke to me. But if you're a dude, maybe you'll be treated with more respect. read more

Bent 21" rim by hitting a pothole at night on El Camino. Tesla service center said I needed to buy a new rim. Looked all over Bay Area to see if someone could straighten rim safely. Team 3 was the only place in the Bay Area I could find that could fix bent 21" rims. Saved me over $1,000 that Tesla charges for replacing a rim. I had my (apparently soft) factory 16" wheels repaired by these guys, on a rather obscure car, for which the wheels are no longer available. I was referred here because most shops can repair lip damage, but few could repair the damage to the drum. Since Team Three Wheels manufactures completely custom wheels, they have all the tooling necessary to make effect drum repairs. They also repaired some curb rash for a very reasonable price. Paint was not perfect, but close enough for me - and I'm picky. Prices are consistent or less than online, and you have local service. I highly recommend. read more

Don't usually leave bad but I rather take a few min of my time to possibly save you guys from wasting your time. Drove 30 to get to the shop and when I arrived at the front desk I made eye contact with man and a women in the back office. They both looked away and never said a word to me. The man, who was on his phone, stood up from his desk and walked out in front of the service proceeded to walk right pass on his wah out the door and still said no word to me. After several min the lady gets up and asked if I needed help. I told her I neededy rim repaired for some curb rash and she told me to bring my rims in so she can see them despite the fact that it was in the back of my truck five feet away from the door. Once I brought the rims in she immediately says they can't fix it and tells me to call the manufacturer. Like I said I don't usually leave bad reviews because I feel like most businesses at least try to provide good service but there was no effort whatsoever on the their part. So disappointed. I received a referral to Team 3 Tire to repair an alloy wheel for my classic Chevy. I suppose I got the owner on a bad day. I arrived at the location, and waited at the front desk for someone to acknowledge me. Yes, the worker saw me, but never spoke a word, not did he get the owner. After 5 minutes, I cleared my throat and the owner broke away from the computer screen. He was snarky at best, commanded that I bring the wheel inside for him to take a look at. There was more light outside, and my hands were clean, so why do I need to bring the wheel 5 feet inside because he's too lazy to walk out to my car? He takes one look at the wheel and exclaims he wouldn't touch it! OK, that's fine, but I also had three other rims that needed attention, so I asked about what other services he offers. His response was telling, "What I can do and what I will do are two different things, I don't want to touch these wheels!" That was all I needed to hear, so I thanked him for his time and bolted.
