Z, who I think is the own doesn't know me at all. One of my guys crashed my work van and brought it back without telling me but the alignment was off. I told him what the issue was and he said drop it off. Well he figured out the issue was as beyond his services he offers but in the meantime attempted to align it and fix it to get to that point. I showed up to pick it up fully ready to pay and come back to check up once a mechanic looked at it. He refused the money and said what to tell the mechanic and to come back with it once it's fixed. STAND UP OLD SCHOOL SERVICE. We do use the fast gas next door all the time and never even knew he was there. Today, he earned a new customer. I won't ever go anywhere else. Excellent value and love the way Z moves. Even more of a bonus for him out shop is one block away with a fleet of vehicles that need servicing. read more

These guys really are fast! I had a flat on my Tesla and called if they had a tire in my size. They had a brand new one, difference brand for $150. I brought just the wheel with the flat and they replaced it in under ten minutes! They forgot to put on the little cover for the tire but that's easily replaceable. Convenient: I called at 12pm and they had time to do both the oil change and the alignment. Overall easy good pleasant experience I would recommend them to other yelpers. Professional reliable and hard working I am new to the area so looking for a mechanic and think this will be my spot. I like to get a good value price wise but I also like quality work this place checked both boxes for me. When I pulled in they were working on a Tesla so they do all types of cars for service. Had a warning pop-up in my car about checking tire pressure and it was a Sunday. Searched Yelp to find tire spots that may be open and my boyfriend found Fast Tire and Wheel. So, rolled in that day to find that one my tires had a slow leak on the side of it, which meant it wasn't ideal to repair. Was quoted a reasonable price to replace a set of 2 tires. Came back today and got them replaced. Was quick and easy (took about 20-25 minuses) and addressed a few questions I had. I was looking a local place that does wheel alignments in San Leandro, so to the trusty Yelp app I go. The first place that popped up was Fast Tire and Wheel and with a 5 star review, I clicked and gave them a call. But right before that, I sorted by most recent reviews just to see what people really thought and if these 5 stars were real. A quick glance, I thought let's give them a call. A gentleman picked up the phone and I inquired if they did wheel alignments - which he did. I provided the car make and model and asked for a price (flat rate or depending on the car). I was quoted $80 and they take walk-ins (except on Saturdays) no appointments needed and it would be about an hour. I said great! Sent my dad to get serviced and my fingers were crossed. I'm always extra worried about him getting scammed especially since English isn't his first language and you just never know. But he came back in less than an hours time, said it was an easy to find location, they treated him well and reviewed his alignment with him. Paid what I was quoted on the phone and he was on his way. I highly recommend Fast Tire and Wheel for your tire alignment services - especially if you need it right away. $30 for a tire repair from a nail Supposed to be $20 but got up charged likely cause I'm a woman and there was miscommunication due to the worker's language barrier I've come here many times before and the owner is very helpful. This time I came in right at opening and a young worker was there who tried to help me right away. I told him there's a nail and I need a patch. I didn't know where the wheel lock and I called my husband to inquire. The worker said it was ok so he started to do a plug. In the middle of it I told him I wanted a patch. The owner finally arrived and helped to clarify. We found the wheel lock and he performed the patch. But he charged me $30. I've always been charged $20... I was going to tip him $5 for the miscommunication and struggle to find the wheel lock but since he charged me $30 cause he started a plug I DID NOT AUTHORIZE, I just paid and left. Didn't want to go back and forth. Pretty ridiculous. I've also gotten a wheel alignment from them before and it wasn't great. Their machine might need updating and is super old cause no way is my 2019 car with barely 15k miles can't get a good alignment. They've lost my patronage. I was in Fremont when my tire pressure warning light came on and discovered I had a flat. I brought it to a local tire place who told me that there was no way that they could patch it and I'd have to get an entirely new tire. Decided to put the spare on and drive it back home. Being pressed for time and having done a little research I decided to opt for Fast Tire and Wheel. Mo told me he was available and to come in right away. When I got there, he evaluated and told me he didn't want to take my money... and that he would be able to patch It from the inside out. Sweet! And $30 later, my car is in great condition again. I received service from this business almost 8 months ago but never came around to writing a review for the service until now. While driving around town, I had accidentally driven over some debris which included what appeared to be broken glass and ended up with a nail lodged into my tire. The pressure decrease in that tire was noticeable due to the resulting sluggish handling of the car after the incident. I needed to find a business that could help me remedy the situation before it became worse. I did a quick yelp search and decided to try these guys due to the high rating, and close proximity to my place, because I didn't want to risk any long drives on a malfunctioning tire. When I pulled up to the location I was greeted by what appeared to be two mechanics that worked for the establishment. I told them what I needed and without much hesitation they asked me to pull the vehicle into the garage. They lifted the car, rotated the wheel and found the lodged nail immediately. In 5-10 minutes they removed the nail and patched the hole. They said I was ready to go now and it seemed like they were going to let me leave without paying; which I couldn't do. So I asked them to charge my card; which they did for $20; a great price. Overall; excellent service; very fast and efficient. I plan to go to them anytime I have any tire related issues for sure, particularly anything lodged in the tires. read more

Great honest and help tire shop. Came here twice - once when i had TPMS issues from another shop. Fast tire took a few minutes to reset my TPMS free of charge. The second time I came to see if I needed new tires or my wheel was cracked. Another shop had told me that I needed new tires to help with the air leak, but it really came down to a tiny crack in the rim that I couldnt see. Fast tire was honest and would rather not sell me a new tire to make money. There is an unfortunate amount of tire shops that could care less about you, but Fast tire is one of the few that genuinely would rather help you out. First, don't judge a book by its cover. The building might not look great, but the service is TOP NOTCH! It's the kind of place you know where they invest the most in. This tire shop lives up to its name! FAST! But not only fast, PROFESSIONAL, CUSTOMER FOCUSED & COURTEOUS, too! I had a tiny nail in one of my tire's sidewall for about a year! ONE WHOLE YEAR, I KNOW... I risked it using Slime, which was probably not the best idea. Honestly, I didn't know it would pool like that inside the tire (see gross pic)... kind of explains the sloshy ride I've been experiencing lately. They recommended I get a new pair for a smoother ride, which didn't feel like a sales pitch. They seem to know what they're talking about. They even noticed immediately that, while my tires have pretty good tread left, my tires were 6 years old! Which was true! I haven't replaced them since I bought the vehicle in 2015. First car related place that I didn't feel like I was being ripped off. The tires I got replaced were actually cheaper than if I would have bought them online myself. I was also educated regards to the tires and reasons why they were chipping, where to see the year of the tires etc Super helpful and very transparent. I mean I live in Oakland and there is plenty of tire shops here but because of their 5 star reviews and being open on Sunday morning, I made the trip to them with flat tire on my back seat.
