I literally drove 34 mins from the Far East side. And let me tell you, it was totally worth it. All the hype about this place is legit. The location is really nice. The view is nice during sunsets overlooking the mountain. Almost gives that Italy or Puerto Rico vibe with the colorful condos on the hills. The establishment is quite nice. The staff was nice and patient with me as I placed my order. Only thing was that you were get charged for adding bubbles into your drink. Which only means they have a wide variety of beverage options. I normally judge a boba place by their milk tea, green tea, or taro. This three flavors if get it right you know everything else is good. Today I had the Taro Cream Blast with tapioca and my daughter had the Ice Cream coffee with Tapioca; both were very delicious. I don't think I can ooh and ah enough about this place. Bubble tea brings me back to 323 and 626 which lessen what I miss about home. They even have a godzilla size option if you want to supersize your boba craving. The lounge is chill and if you have a little one, they have a play area where you can have them play. read more

Me & my sister stopped here today before today's shopping trip. She suggested it since she had been here before. I loved the atmosphere, it's very hip & modern. They had many exotic drinks & boba to choose from, including taro, durian, avocado, lychee, matcha & chai tea. I got a coconut cream tea with strawberry & lychee bursters and my sister got a chai tea with strawberry bursters. Luckily we got there & ordered right before a huge rush so we got our drinks in about 7mins (it takes 5min to brew chai). Since Teapioca is a chain, I was well prepared knowing what I want and how I want it. When I walked in mid afternoon, mid week, the music was blaring so loudly I had to basically shout it at the guy....after I had to wait 10 minutes when there was one other person there. His interest was to make tea and hang out with this gal. After I ordered what I hoped he could hear with the music, he said I'd have to wait 10 minutes for the tea to brew. He made the other girl's drink and came out with his own to sit and hang out with her. I mean....are you getting paid to hang out or work? This is the best place for boba tea in El Paso. I've tried pretty much all the others in town & and have been disappointed. The bobas seem fresh every time I've ordered from here & all the teas that i've tried tasted great. They have a great variety of flavors & the shaved cream ice have been good. The ambiance is nice here. This place is clean & well-kept plus they have an area for the little kids to play. I live right across the street from Teapioca and so it's a favorite spot of mine to visit. Drink of choice would be a frozen Thai Tea with no boba. They provide a wide selection of boba tea along with some unique deserts. During the afternoons on weekends; the place can get very busy. However, your drink will come out wonderfully made. I am a diehard boba fan from California and so I came to Teapioca Lounge with high expectations. The boba to tea ratio was on par and the price was not too expensive for what what I was expecting. The tapioca boba balls were a little undercooked and so it had a bit of a hardness to the center with a few of the bobas, but it was something that did not bother me too much. Great place for a different drink. Coffee is on point. Talk to Edgar he is great at explaining the different options, great guy. I would hire him to work my restaurant. Smoothie - Great flavor, tapioca (boba) were cooked perfectly. The right chewiness and hardness. Atmosphere - great place. It's very clean. I really like the area for the kids, that is unique and haven't really seen that at other places. Although they are lacking in games. Just because when you go to places like these, usually you want to spend time with friends or family, or whomever you are with and have a little fun. I'm used to have some type of board games that we could use which they did not have. Service - this is where it went south for us. So we ordered our smoothie and they asked if we wanted boba, and we said yes but on one of them we wanted the baby boba's or mini bobas. When we received our order, only the smoothie with the mini boba's had anything in it. When we asked the guy, he said we were supposed to order it at the counter, and it is $0.50 cents extra per order. I hated the fact that he acted like we didn't order it in the first place and like we were trying to get away from paying a $1.50 fee. What a joke. Then he went on to telling us how if we have ordered it, it would have been on the little paper that they have. They did fix it for us and waived the fee. BUT THEN! 3 of the smoothies we ordered weren't even smoothies! They were the tea ? with ice. It wasn't blended. He said "It is the same flavor but with ice and not blended." I've been waiting for a decent boba place to open up here in El Paso for a really long time. So when this place opened up, I had to try it! Overall I really like this place. Is it the best boba I have ever had? No, but it is the best boba place here in El Paso! They have a bunch of different flavors and drinks just like any other good boba place. The Blast Tea is their version of milk tea and it was a little bland, so I would recommend skipping it. But their Taro Blast Tea and their avocado smoothie is wonderful. I highly recommend those! This little city keeps surprising me each time I visit El Paso - kudos to you. When I visit any new milk tea shop, I would order their basic milk tea to see if it lives up to all the milk teas I've tried in So-Cal (we have a lot)... and it does! That's why when I ordered their regular cream blast, I was very surprised it was good as the ones back home. I have visited this location twice and their cream blast is very consistent. I also love that the workers would hand deliver your drink to you! Texas Hospitality at the palm of your hands. I will definitely be a regular here. Pro-tip: Not many people know this, but if you're not much of a sweet tooth like myself, you can adjust the level of sweetness. I recommend doing 50% sweetness when it comes to your cream blast, if you do anything lower, it might taste too bland. read more

I live on the Far East side of town and I still come here quite often. We definitely need more places like this in town. Customer service is always on point. I keep it simple and either get the Thai tea or one of the coffee drinks. Or the Thai blast tea coffee. My 2 favorites now one! They have a very large menu even Snow! There's something for everyone. I also like the kids play area and the touch screen table to play games on. I love it when places are family friendly. Awesome to finally have a legit boba shop in El Paso. The classics are great: black or green tea boba. They use dairy free creamer which is great for us lactose intolerant folk. For something a little different, their watermelon smoothie is pretty good too. I like to have it with taro pudding (the purple one).
