Very clean place. Across the street from Costco, and I just happened to see it. Tea is 3.95 with upcharge for winter melon flavor and like .70 for strawberry bursts. Ended up being a little over $5. Didn't really taste like winter melon. It was like sugar water with slight flavoring. Half sugar is still sweet. I actually didn't mind the drink, but def feel like I overpaid for what I got. Seriously loved this place. It's brand new and very cute. Tons of board games to play with friends and a nice lounge area. They aren't just using syrups, they actually have FRESH teas which is awesome. I ordered the Passion Fruit Black Tea and at first it tasted a little sweet, but the guy said as soon as the ice melts it will be perfect AND IT WAS. Totally hit the spot! It's cool that they take ice into consideration for the taste. My mom got the matcha green tea and was happy with it as well. Definitely coming back here. Loved the area surrounding it too, brand new plaza! I was in desperate need of a coffee as I was about to embark on a Costco Run! They were incredibly friendly here and offered to make me a customized ice coffee which was absolutely delicious. In fact when my server handed me my ice coffee, he said "Double check to make sure you like it, and let me know what you think!" I can't remember the last time any barista talked to me like that, but it was much appreciated. The setting here is clean and crisp. I was asking however to be more prepared in general. Teatop just had their soft opening and it did not take so long to make the drinks and they also had super long lines - probably helps that they knew the recipe better. 2. As far as the ice, there are PLENTY of boba shops in the Houston area that put in the same amount of ice but still have a strong tea flavor rather than being watered down immediately. Don't blame the ice and maybe take a look at how you can improve. 3. I pass on your offer of 2 free drinks in your private message in hopes to get my rating to a 5 star. My friends and I went during their soft opening so there's hope that they might get better but we will certainly not go back. We're always looking for new boba places and since Teapioca was offering a BOGO free deal, we had to try it. I ordered what I normally get at boba shops: oolong milk tea with boba 30% sugar and taro milk tea with boba 50% sugar (I got red beans though here to just switch it up). First, it took an insane amount of time for them to make their orders. We thought we beat the long line that came behind us but then we noticed there were many people sitting down waiting for their orders. It seemed that many of the makers were still looking at the recipes to try to figure out how to make the drinks which seems kinda rough even if it was a soft opening. It also didn't help that they gave me a cantaloupe milk tea instead of a taro one. To their credit, they made the replacement much faster. The drink itself was pretty disappointing. The oolong milk tea was soooo watery and the ice hadn't even melted. Didn't really get the oolong taste. Then the 30% which normally works at other boba shops did not here and it registered closer to 5% sweetness to me. The boba was not sweet so that's probably why. The taro wasn't bad and was reminiscent of teahouse and red beans always help. All in all though, there is too much good competition to come back. read more

This was a pretty average boba place. I got the hazelnut cream blastea and you can tell it is made out of powder. I went near closing time so they offered me extra tapioca for free in addition to the tapioca I ordered; but, the total amount of tapioca is normally what I get in other stores. This boba store is pretty good. My first impression is the staff. They'really nice and know how to talk to their customers. Menu is huge so it will take a little time to go over it and decide which you want. I had the green tea and my girlfriend had the milk tea. Both were good and not too sweet (we always order 50-75% sugar at other stores). Their shave ice is good, too. I hate durian but my girlfriend is a fan so we ordered it. It did have the durian flavor, which is not good to me but my girlfriend. However, it is not too strong so I can get used to with it afterwards. The reason I gave 4 star is the price is a little confusing. it is not included the price with the topping neither the shave ice or drinks. So, you have to check the price before you pay. I ended up ordering the Almond Cream Tea and my boyfriend got the Strawberry Banana Smoothie. For both it was around ~$8. Both were fantastic. The place inside is super inviting and bright with the huge menu displayed above the registers. They have a ton of fun games as well. My husband decided to come by Teapioca Lounge on our way home from dinner. Honestly, I'm not a huge boba/tapioca fan but my husband likes to go every so often and our kids like smoothies. As for the product, our drinks were well made! My husband got taro with tapioca balls and I got a tea with a lychee jelly. What really got my 5-star review is related to their customer service! The guy behind the counter was so friendly and accommodating and really wanted to ensure we liked our drinks by trying to adjust based on our liking of the level of sweetness, etc. It really spoke to their customer care and willingness to adapt to make for a better experience. TLDR: A great place to come with friends with pretty good drinks (and on or off experience) Teapioca Lounge is surrounded by great Boba places like Kung Fu Tea and Feng Cha, so I was hesitant to leave my comfort zone. But when a group of friends invited me to come, I decided to try it out. We got an Oreo Milkshake without Boba and a Taro Milk Tea with Boba. Taro Milk Tea is always my go-to, so I didn't know how I would feel about this one. When I tried it, it was quite good and the amount of Boba they give you to accompany the drink is a solid amount. The Boba (Bubbles) didn't have too much flavor, but the milk tea was quite good to my surprise (4.5/5). The Oreo Milkshake was pretty good, but it was just like any other ordinary milkshake with Oreos (3/5). The main reason you should come here, though, is for entertainment: as it has many games and 2 TVs (One with News and the other for Disney Plus). Tried this place out for the first time and it was good. Love the location, not too far from Brazos Tow Center. The customer service was exceptional, they even let me try out different jellies that could be put in the drink. My family and I just found this store few days ago. It is a gem! Love the atmosphere in the store, very surprised to see how clean it is with full pack of crowded people. It is also very spacious and bright! Nice place to have teatime with family or Friends. Staff are friendly and agile, love the vibe there. They do have large selections of drink and toppings. I noticed other coworkers hovering over her waiting for a mistake. Another coworker being mean to the young lady, having some sort of attitude and throwing items into the dash washer. (2.) The side conversations and language. I wanted coffee a couple nights ago and I found this store on yelp so I went and checked it out. When I went inside there was a 1 couple on the sofa and a group of 4 standing at the counter asking questions and speaking amongst each other. I stood behind them and waited for my turn, the employee didn't know an answer to one of their questions so I'm assuming it's one of the owner came to help. The customer kept calling people on the phone, having conversations between each other and the owner like no one was behind them.
