Got an Oolong Milk Tea and Vietnamese Coffee (the smooth version). Asked for very little condensed milk on the Vietnamese coffee, and my wish was granted! Both drinks were perfect, and neither were too sweet. The employees were super sweet and very helpful as well. Wish I caught their names! I will say though that it is a little pricy imo, but nothing compared to Zero Degrees. *Edit Ahhh thank you so much to the owner! I think we've found our favorite tea spot. They have good drinks and an extensive menu. I want to come back and try their shaved ice. I live in Telfair and we would have to drive down either side of highway 6 to get some good tea so it's nice to have one in our backyard. read more

For starters, this shop does not use real fruit, they use flavored powders. The drinks are mediocre at best. They recently fired a long term employee who was known and loved by the regulars, and gave him absolutely no explanation as to why. When i asked the owner about it she would not give me an answer. I used to be a loyal customer, but they simply arent worth the trip. read more

When I entered Teapioca lounge I received a more welcoming vibe which you don't really get from going to other tea places. Even tho this was my first time here I felt so comfortable because I was greeted by basically every employee. And when It was my turn to order the cashier really helped me choosing a drink, she was telling me what's in every drink I pointed out and from all the options they have here i decided to order the strawberry lemon slushie, which was really good and i 100% recommend it. They make your drink really fast and they even have card and board games that you can enjoy. It's also a good place to sit down and do homework as well (the music is very joyful). By far one of my favorite tea houses. I love how this place is located near my favorite stores. They have game boards and plenty of seating for studying or hanging out. They are the Jasmine Dragon Pearls,Cream BlasTea, Thai BlasTea, and Cafe Bac Xiu (my favorite coffee drink, not so strong as the cafe sua da) they also have shaved ice cream. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Since it was my first time there, they explained that their drinks are not typically sweet. They said they would let me try my drink and if I wanted to adjust the sweetness, they would gladly do so for me. I had never experienced that before at other tea places, so that was a pleasant surprise. Once my tea was finished being made, they brought it over to my table, so I didn't have to leave my friends to go pick it up. The place was nice and clean as well. I like this places options on drinks they have lots of options and toppings. Only complaint is their boba is always super sticky it seams.

So thankful they opened this in Sugar Land! Went with my friends for the first time for their grand opening and we loved our drinks! The almond cream tea was delicious and not too sweet. Their herbal teas are also delicious, I asked to substitute sugar for honey and they were so nice about it and even asked to switch my drink if I didn't like it. It's a nice environment. I came here on a Monday, my first time at Teapioca Lounge. I love tapioca drinks, iced teas, and the sort. I frequent many tapioca/tea houses in the Sugar Land area. This one had a friendly cashier who was very knowledgeable about the menu. I didn't get her name. The atmosphere is relaxed, with modern decor, lots of seating, flat screen tv's, and board games. After looking at the menu, I decided to order a Volcano Mangonada. I have had many mangonadas before, so I know what a typical mangonada consists of. Their volcano mangonada includes chamoy, tajin, and some lemon juice for tartness, amongst other ingredients. It even has a cute chilé tamarind candy straw. After taking the first sip, I immediately tasted the tartness of the lemon juice and the sweetness of the mango with a hint of Tajin seasoning and chamoy. I kept on sipping, but I sadly kept getting pretty large (for a slushie) chunks of ice cubes in my drink. They were about the size of crushed ice when you use the "crushed ice" setting on your refrigerator. I really wanted to like my drink, but this one didn't please my tastebuds. In my opinion, it was not blended well enough to have a smooth slushiee consistency. It had too many ice chunks. And they used a tad too much freshly squeezed lemon that took away from the natural taste of the sweet mango. All in all, I would come back and try a different drink, but I won't get a slushiee. read more

Don't go there 2 hours before closing. They never have any tapioca (this is a boba place). Gone there 3 times and each time they've told me "we ran out of boba"...they lost my business. Boba places are like nail salons, it's on every corner. If you can't get the job done, someone who can. Writing my review while still here. I'm confused as to where all the 5 star reviews came from. The space is pretty loud and sparsely decorated, definitely could have more seating. The menu is long and some what confusing (no pricing on the shaved ice toppings). Honestly felt like I was being nickled and dimed on everything. By the time we finally figured out what to order (while at the counter) the line was huge behind us! (It'd be nice to have menus to use while in line - with complete pricing.) Boba was decent. They make my all time favorite coffee frappe and that's a very bold statement because I love coffee and tried so many good coffee all over the world :) Very reminiscent of the same drink at Cafe Du Monde in the NOLA french quarters (They also use the same chicory coffee from that brand) My whole family and best friend is obsessed with the coffee frappe drinks I got for them here and 100% approved (and we are coffee addict!) I came here about last week with my family and we enjoyed our visit! The employees that were working there that evening were very helpful and kind while we were choosing our orders. It was our first time here and we are so glad that a tea place opened up near where we live! We got a lychee slushie, an oreo cookie smoothie (i think that's what it's called), and a matcha cream green tea. Our orders came out pretty quick and the drinks were delicious! I would recommend all of the drinks if anyone is interested in what we ordered and I definitely recommend the oreo cookie smoothie for anyone with a sweet tooth!
