FLY was sitting on the kids then flew to the object next to it

There was a fly just sitting on the lids then it flew off to the side. Also got no ice with my milk tea, but the cup wasn't full.

Didn't realize how busy this place could be on a Saturday. It was a bit noisy from all the loco moco customers. I ordered a p.o.g iced tea with boba. It took a bit to order and get made but when I took a sip it really tasted like pog! There was some passion fruit seeds inside. Not sure if these were supposed to be in here because there was only 3 but it was interesting. I liked the boba's texture.

The service is quick, and the drinks are amazing. It's a cute place to stop in for a drink all year round. My favorite drink to get here is their Lava Flow!

I think the boba is good, but it's really the customer service and proximity to my home that account for the 4 star review. I agree with other reviewers that there is better boba elsewhere on island, but after a meal at Koko Marina, it's just convenient to pop over and grab a boba - which is exactly what my friend and I did after Sunday brunch. I was still a little stuffed after brunch, so my friend asked the server if he could split the taro milk tea, and he said sure - didn't even charge extra for the extra cup, which I would have paid. It was tasty, and the boba was nice and chewy. Will be back when I'm at the marina again!

The avocado smoothies here are a must try. The owner, Ping, is so sweet and is always happy to greet us. The crab rangoon here is also delicious, with a good amount of filling, not oily, & flavorful without msg. The restaurant is clean. The fresh brewed teas are also good.

Very underwhelming, I wish I listened to the reviews instead of giving it a shot. Both drinks I tried were extremely disappointing, I thought the teapresso milk tea lacked flavor and tasted very diluted until I also tried the assam milk tea with bubbles which tasted worse. It tasted like milk and water with doughy bubbles. I rather drink water honestly, not worth the time, money or calories. Maybe another location makes it differently.

Good run of the mill boba place. They have great tea options and all of them placed out where you can smell them. They also have examples of the different toppings shown. Nice staff and clean place. Shares the building with another food place. Nothing to call home about, but nothing to complain about Food: 3/5 Staff: 3/5 Location: 3/5

This little bubble tea place has a variety of offerings. If you are unsure of the type of tea and add-in's there are containers of loose leaf teas to smell and clear, tiny jars of jelly, boba to get a visual of what they are. We ordered the Thai ice coffee and featured milk tea with lychee jelly. Both drinks together costed over $12 which is kind of a lot and for that price you expect something pretty spectacular. The drinks tasted fine and good but not over the top great. The milk tea tasted like your average Hong Kong milk tea. The Thai ice coffee tasted like a milk tea with coffee..definitely not Thai ice coffee. It tasted fine for a coffee milk tea. I think if you are in the area and you are craving milk tea then it's a good option. Other than that probably wait to go into town.

So disappointed - at the customer service, the setting, and the drink. I so want to like this place but it has not improved since its opening a couple of years ago. To start, lady who took my order gestures me to order instead of greets. Not a "thank you" or "thanks for your patience" (since there were a few tourists in front of me who stood there in front to wait their order instead of stepping aside for me to order next-luckily one of girls in the party had some sense to look behind and told her friends to move). When I asked the cashier if they still do reward cards, she took it and looked at it, then gave it back. I asked if the company just doesn't do it (if not, just throw it away), she took it back again and used a pen to mark it. No words from her at all. Okaayyyy? Second, since this place is shared with Loco Moco, seating for Teaspresso patrons are limited. Sure, they got a couple of seats between their kiosk and the entrance wall, but those waiting for their drinks have to stand in the pathway so narrow that you run the risk of having your bottom touching the tables so that no one can even get through or sit at the table with a stranger's behind in your face. Last, one size for drinks but expect to only receive half the volume of your cup. Picture is my drink after it sitting in the car for more than 30 minutes in the middle of the afternoon. Red arrow shows where the ice ends. I'm sure some of the ice had melted to dilute the drink so imagine how much ice was added in the first place.

    Wintermelon Milk Tea
    Alexis P.

Good milk tea but not great. I ordered a wintermelon milk tea with large boba but received a very regular tasting milk tea. I didn't taste any wintermelon. And she didn't ask me how much sweetness I wanted so I guess she just picked? She was a little gruff and insisted I tip. It didn't take long to come out. There's some seating inside and it shares a space with the restaurant next door. Overall, eh experience. I would've liked it more if the service were better and my tea tasted more like what I expected it to.

Ordered a bunch of drinks yesterday from two females which were amazing! Went back a second time to order more drinks from a male worker who was extremely grouchy, did not want to respond to our questions. He definitely should not be at the front. Other customers also have a confused look as if he was doing them a favor and had an attitude. The females were awesome and knowledgeable so props to them

After looking over the menu I chose an iced Hawaiian honey latte along with a lilikoi scone while my dad went with a salted caramel scone. Our order was ready within about five minutes and we were quickly on our way. I first tried the lilikoi scone and really enjoyed it. It had a nice sharpness that was balanced with just enough sweetness to keep it from being overpowering. My coffee was good as well. The coffee itself was deep and rich and while I picked up a bit of sweetness at the start, the Hawaiian honey really came through on the finish. My dad also really enjoyed his salted caramel scone. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. We both enjoyed our scones and I thought my coffee was solid as well.

I wouldn't say I am a coffee snob by any means, but I could definitely taste the difference in their coffee. The avocado toast was absolutely delicious and came in pretty huge portions! It was two pieces of toast with two eggs in a bed of arugula and a very generous amount of avocado. It was cooked to perfection and exactly what I needed after our hike. Each baked good has been fresh and reasonably priced (sometimes scones are $6-$7 in LA) SERVICE: Each time I go, the barista is kind and friendly, usually talking story with a regular. They also make their drinks fast (less than a 5 min wait). AMBIANCE: Their store is tiny, really just made for ordering with a few benches. Outside they have a few tables and seating. They may also have seating on the street ("parklet") although most recently I didn't think to check. I have done work here before using a hotspot and have always found seating. It seems to be a more grab and go spot especially considering how tiny it is in the actual store. PARKING: They have a few stalls in the lot shared with the apartment building nearby marked "Visitor". There is also metered street parking in the area. Parking hasn't been an issue for me. Altogether a super cute local spot with high quality coffee. One of my faves on Oahu for sure.

My mom said not to drink coffee lest I become addicted to caffeine. I hope I do not go down that…read moreroot, but being a student tempts one into consuming caffeine like a madman. This is a great place to do work and meet friends, and also maybe get out of the rain while you wait for your bus. The drink options are unique, which is what I like to see for these fancy cafes that call themselves "coffeehouses". The team working here are young, probably UH students, which is to be expected. If you know me, I love sweets. Coffee is no exception. The Haupia latte is perfectly sweet, as it balances the bitterness of the coffee. The same could be said for the Hawaiian honey latte. I have a suspicion that I will be drinking all the sweet drinks from here. Let it only be for when I need energy and increased focus on an assignment. (Pray for me.)

Breakfast in Honolulu, Hawaii…read more.. The newest location of Island Brew Coffeehouse is on the ground level of the Charles Atherton House... look to the left when you enter the lobby. (It's on the corner of University Avenue and Metcalf Street.) Since metered street parking is free on a Sunday, I parked across the street (on Metcalf) where there's a row of stalls... easy! The friendly staff were pleasant and helpful! They answered all of my questions and made great suggestions! I ordered an Avocado Toast without spicy sauce... and a Kukui Latte with soy milk. I liked both! The toast had some garlic and butter flavoring on the multi-grain toast. It was simple, healthy, and filling! The Kukui Latte was sweetened just right! The macadamia and coconut flavors were tasty! This is a wonderful study/meeting/work spot that Irene discovered! It's spacious, clean, and bright! The restroom is modern, safe and comfortable! We'll be back!
