I've been to several lash places, even making the trek 40 minutes away to go to the "best" in Fort Lee. I found Sunny from reviews on Yelp; I had a work event and didn't have time to go very far. The online booking system was great, she texted me the night before to confirm. Her place is downstairs in the nail salon, her room is cute and clean. She discussed all the options, I went for the Russian volume, only because all the places I ever went didn't offer them. They're amazing, if not a tad over the top. Perfect for a special occasion! While there, I also found out she did microblading! I've always wanted to get this done, but figured I wouldn't get around to it. Made an appointment for the same week and wow! I seriously have the worst eyebrows known to mankind, so I decided to do some research on microblading. I came across Tease Beauty and the reviews looked promising and the results looked great! To be honest, I was a bit skeptical about microblading just because every time I see someone get it done, it tends to look unnatural. Decided to give this place a try and I have 0 regrets! She asked me how I wanted my eyebrows to look and took my wants into consideration along with what she thought would look good. All in all, Sunny is seriously the best. My experience was Sunny was average at best, but because of such high ratings on Yelp, I wanted to share my less than 5-star experience. It was difficult to make an appointment with Sunny. My first requests (text and phone call) went unanswered. The next day, I decided to try again because of the high reviews, and was finally able to receive a response a day later. The pro is that Sunny seemed to be a nice person. I did not receive the consulting time that she purportedly gave to others, but it it was okay because I am a long time extensions wearer and am familiar with the process and results. The is a handful of cons, which resulted in the 3-star deduction: 1. Sunny was late to the appointment, and I felt rushed through because she had someone after me. 2. Sunny's price is 50% more than other lash artists in Plano and Frisco. 3. Sunny ONLY accepts cash, which is not shared before the appointment. 4. The lashes are not 5-star worthy, as I lost over 2 dozen lashes on one eye after 24-hours. She did bring me back to add more lashes, but those lashes also fell out within 24-hours. First time getting eyelash extensions in over a decade and Sunny certainly demonstrates how far the process has come. The application is completely painless (if not totally relaxing) and I couldn't even feel the extensions afterward! This may have something to do with opting for the Classic Extensions, but I imagine the more voluminous versions are pretty comfortable as well. As for their appearance, I received a compliment on how pretty I looked (without any additional make-up, mind you) by the first person to see me post-application. The lashes are an amazing luxury during the summer heat when make-up tends to run/smear. FYI for other clients: I would advise against habitullay rubbing your eyes as I do given that it def affects the volume over time quite a bit. read more

I never tear up and she is so gentle that you barely feel her putting the lashes on you. For me, the lashes can last up to 5 weeks. She doesn't count how many lashes she puts on you. I've been to Sunny's for 3 times. I am going to become a regular! Sunny is super sweet and nice. She always follows up with me after each appointment to see how my lashes are doing. She always does a good job on my lashes and she is open to listen to how you want differently each time. If you go back within 3 weeks of your first appointment, you can just do a touch-up on remaining lashes. The cost is a little less than a fresh new set. The first set I got was still 70% full after 2nd week, but I went back for a touch-up which lasts for almost another month. I am not a super careful person and I like to rub my eyes. So that made my lashes live shorter. I'm sure for anyone who is more careful, their lashes can last for long time! Anyway, Sunny is great! read more

I saw Sunny a couple of weeks ago and just got around to posting a review. Sunny was able to fit me in last minute that worked very well for my inflexible schedule. She kept in good communication prior and after to my appointment. I got the classic volume and was very pleased with the outcome of my lashes! Just updating my previous review: Sunny is still as amazing as ever, except now she has VOLUME lashes! I have very thin and sparse Asian lashes and always aspired to have long, voluminous lashes that I see all over Instagram. I have tried going longer with normal lashes and they always ended up looking a bit flat due to the weight of the lashes. A few days ago, Sunny gave me a new set of VOLUME lashes and they have been life changing -- my lashes look amazing and I do not need eyeliner or eye shadow anymore. Sunny uses a technique where she is able to create lashes in the shape of a fan, which creates volume. The lashes are also super light and my small lashes are able to hold up the lashes even better than before. I have to say.. reading so many great reviews about this place. I was really excited to get an appt with Sunny. My visit was back in July. Sunny was quick to reply and get me in the books before I left for a company retreat. Sunny is a freelancer and she was attentive and gentle during my visit. Nothing to complain. However, within less than a week, my lashes on my left eye fell. And it wasn't a few, it was a lot, leaving gaps of lashes. I looked weird and it bothered me a ton. It took me by surprise since I followed every rule in the rule book and it wasn't my first rodeo getting lashes done since I've done a ton before at Ktown in the city. Paying $200 + 20% gratuity, I was surprised the quality I received from sunny. I did reach out to sunny after returning my trip and tried to get an appt to fix it. But we kept going back and forth due to schedule conflict and in the end, I just gave up because it didn't seem a priority for sunny to get my lashes fixed anymore. Sunny did a great job with my lashes - the first time I went was before a trip to Greece. I was really nervous, and brought in some images of what I wanted. I told Sunny to make them long but to shape them accordingly to my face and she did just that. I received SO many compliments on my lashes during my vacation and it was so worth it not to worry about mascara. They lasted a solid month until most of them were falling out. I had been thinking about my lashes ever since and went back to Sunny. This time I told her I wanted a natural look and did not bring any images. I told her to use her best judgement.
