I cannot say enough about Tease Hair Studio. After my visit yesterday, it is no wonder they are ranked amongst the top 200 salons in the country. I received a smooth realignment. The price as better, by far, than any competitor's price that I found. They also had a promo going where I received $60 worth of shampoo and conditioner for free! Nicole did an amazing job and was so attentive to detail. The atmosphere there is amazing and they offer free refreshments to all of their guests. As a new customer of Tease, I couldn't be more pleased! I saw Julie a week ago for a haircut, and she did an excellent job. She was prompt and super friendly! In addition, she has been the only hairdresser I've had that has actually given me a trim, rather than cutting 5+ inches, when I have asked for minimal hair to be cut off. I saw Sam today for a balayage, and she was also great! She gave me exactly what I asked for and, like Julie, was professional, kind, and prompt. I also appreciated that Sam was transparent with the process of a balayage, and explained what was possible to achieve in one session. My 2 daughters and I get our brows waxed by Marie. She's fabulous and very professional. My youngest used to get nervous because the last place we went was a painful experience, but Marie is great with her and she doesn't actually mind it now. The Salon is always buzzing with a lot of energy, it's always busy yet the staff is always very pleasant and courteous. Marie is very accommodating as well. I went to Tease for the first time after reading up a bunch of Yelp reviews and honestly my experience was even better than I thought it would be! Jaclyn did my hair and she was so sweet and listened carefully to take what I wanted (which was not a super defined request) and gave me an amazing cut. She also recommended a really good product for my hair texture that works quite well. I appreciate that Jaclyn really paid attention to the texture of my hair and also explained why she was going about cutting my hair in the way she did. The overall aesthetic of Tease is very welcoming and warm, something that has been hard to find during these COVID-19 pandemic. They are very hygienic and careful as well and from what I remember there was only one other client in the salon besides me so we were quite spaced out. Great experience for getting a much needed hair cut and color. Some staff are a bit less experienced than others but their website gives you an idea of who has more experience if that sort of thing matters to you. They also do online bookings so you can see what times are available for whatever service you are looking at. Overall I would go there again but be more conscious of who I was going to be working with. read more

I have gone two times to get my hair done with Sarah B. Overall, I can say that I have had a pleasant experience. The people are efficient and punctual. The salon atmosphere is lovely, however, the lighting is less than ideal. The prices are surprisingly low. Though, I recommend getting a hair braid rather than a blowout when getting your hair cut, colored, or both! I struggle to eliminate gold and bronze hair tones, and I have made it abundantly clear that is my major goal. However, I do feel like I'm lacking some transparency in regards to the timeline of arriving at that goal. My hair improves with each visit, however, I have not seen any major differences in these tones. I struggle with my severe anxiety, therefore, I experience emotional despair and uneasiness. I have not yet found a clear-cut solution for my hair concerns along, including my growing roots. Though I am glad to say that I feel that I am able to communicate, even in the loud-small-salon environment. I recommend his salon to most people. I would just be cautious when it comes to a major color correction. I recommend coming in for a quick consultation, then being clear and decisive with your language and your goals. I recently decided to donate my hair. This was a big decision, one I did not take lightly! It was a huge change, and I was very skeptical about whether or not I could actually pull off short hair. I reached out to Marie A. at Tease, and set up an appointment for a cut and color. On the big day, I got there a few minutes early and Marie sat with me for a while to help me decide on a style. She was open and honest about what she thought would work best for my hair type and the shape of my face. I needed something that would be low maintenance and easy to work with in the morning. Once we decided on a style...it was time. Marie put my hair into pig tails and asked if I was ready. She wouldn't touch my hair with the scissors until I said it was ok to do so. Long story short, (see what I did there? LONG story SHORT) I am THRILLED with my new hair style!!! Marie picked a color that was subtle and, more importantly, covered the grey! I've been going to this salon for about 4 years now and NEVER had a bad experience. Jackie is AMAZING and understands curly hair more than anyone I've ever had cut my hair. Seriously, CURLY HAIR people - get to this salon! Everyone there is so nice and accommodating. They are constantly upgrading the salon and it is a very comfortable setting. They were able to get me an appointment that worked for me the day I called! Nicole was my stylist and she was great! She tweaked what I wanted to fit my hair and daily routine. I couldn't be happier with my hair cut and experience with Tease. If I wasn't happy with my haircut once I got home, they offered to fix it free of charge within two weeks. I wish that one picture would make the entire review. I visit this salon last week, nice decorated and clean. I went to get some blond highlights and left the salon with copper type color lights. I was there for 2.5 hours, I have a very short/pixie hair. and the hairdresser left me in the chair without asking if I need it a glass of water, the owners never came and welcome me to the salon, Botton line is, I will never go back there, I wish I could post a picture of my hair, it is so poorly done it that even my 8 year old Has asked me what happened to my hair. It is so hard to find someone who knows how to cut curly hair. Melissa sure does! I came in after a failed cut the previous day, and she sat me down and found out exactly what I wanted before she got to work. She knew to cut dry first to see where the hair would fall, and she told me stuff about cutting and caring for curly hair even I didn't know. Curly girls, she knows what she is doing! My hair looks fabulous, thanks to her. The salon itself is really cute and accommodating. I got a little welcome present for my first visit and some samples, too. i love Tease! I've been going here since I moved to Hudson a year ago. Melissa takes care of me when I go in for my appointments. I typically get my hair cut and dyed here. I really challenge her since I change my color constantly...highlights, red, blonde, etc. She has always done a great job. I've been going here for about three years and it is the best salon around! I live in Framingham, which is about 25 minutes away but no salon in town is as amazing as Tease. I'm college aged so the prices at Tease work SO well for me. They aren't cheap, but they are more affordable than Framingham (Framingham is crazy expensive). Let me start by saying I gave the salon multiple chances to meet some what of a standard. I did not have a problem with the hair dresser in particular, because she was really nice, and I think the poor service is coming from upper management, but this place sucks. It is highly expensive for the services they provide. $300 pretty much for some highlights and they only highlight about two pieces of hair over and over again until it actually just fried off my hair. "It can't lift" is something you are going to hear probably 800 times. It can its just they want more money and you to continue coming back, because my new salon had no problem, and now my hair is in the best condition it has been. Needless to say I will never be returning. My friend had super similar experience as well, and had referred me to this salon and was equally disappointed, I am just mad I spent around $900 between two sessions to get no where, and have my hair fried off. read more
