So this place was just okay. Teca was open one of the days we were at the JW Marriott. It gets style points for ambiance and good mood lighting -- and the artisan bread and balsamic vinaigrette while waiting for our food -- but that's about it. At $15 a glass, I didn't expect for my glass of wine to taste like it was in a refrigerator (uncorked) for three days, but it did. Our server told us halfway through our dinner that we could order cocktails from the hotel bar that would've saved me $15 for something tastier. The restaurant was barely busy, but it took what felt like a slow eternity to get our food. I had the lobster ravioli that wasn't bad but a gentle reminder of why I don't pay for Italian food while eating out. Not the worst, but not the best -- or something that contained a "wow" factor -- especially for the price . They do, however, get a gold star for providing a salad as an appetizer for the kids meal. God bless the civilized children who eat caesar salad. My 5- and 3-year-old kids don't that saved my husband and I money on an appetizer.

Food, service & ambiance were wonderful! Pasta & pizza were great, and good value! Servers found just the right balance with attentiveness.

When I arrived, the restaurant was absolutely bustling, but the lady who helped me with our order was in such high spirits and was incredibly friendly. Even with how busy they were, she was so welcoming and made the pickup experience great. For my meal, I ordered the Creamy Pesto with Chicken, and I absolutely loved it. The sauce wasn't overly oily, had a nice, light basil flavour, and I really appreciated that they included Parmesan on the side so I could add as much as I wanted. My wife ordered the Spaghetti Primavera and really enjoyed it as well. She especially loved the goat cheese, which added a great flavour to the dish. The pasta here is definitely high quality. You can tell some care goes into it, and both of our mains were delicious. We also ordered the Arancini, which were just okay. We've had much better elsewhere, so they weren't really a highlight of the meal. The pasta, however, was excellent. We're definitely interested in coming back, hopefully on a nicer day so we can actually sit on the patio with the dogs, try more of the menu, and take in the views from the upper patio. It's easy to see why this place is so popular! For more food, travel, and travel reviews, check out our YouTube channel A&M Roam!

Our friend reassured us that we made a huge mistake. We had to go back and give it a shot. We stopped in for lunch (we heard line ups at dinner are huge) - I ordered the ravioli special of the day and my fiancée ordered a lunch salad. The ravioli was incredible. It was laden with beef tenderloin and veggies galore in a rose sauce that I had to dip my bread in to sop up all of the pieces. My fiancées salad was equally insane. It was almost like a pasta sauce on a hearty garden salad that was very tasty. The meals leave you more than satisfied. The pasta doesn't leave you with that heavy pasta dinner feeling with the good mix of veggies that came with the pasta and the salad feeling like you should have ordered a pasta if you ordered the salad with the hearty meat and appropriate level of dressing on it. We topped it off with the pecan flan which is best described as a pecan pie. Not house made but sooo good. We're coming back tomorrow with the kids. Seriously.

In the interim years, Pizza on Earth has expanded significantly - there is now a cafe, an art gallery and a great patio to enjoy the food. The ordering space has also changed with the overall expansion. The pizza is amazing - great variety and a great combination of crispy, thin crust coupled with fresh, tasty toppings. There is a wider variety of drinks (including alcohol) and the cafe provides even further variety. This is a great gem - go climb the Dorset tower, hike Algonquin - and get a great pizza to celebrate!

But I have seen their online presence growing as well as the lines they have so we decided to give it a shot! We came around 11am on a Saturday. I wanted to try their coffee and bagels and my boyfriend wanted a pizza so we divided and conquered. The Smoked Salmon bagel was great - the bagel itself was nice and chewy (some capers would've put it on another level), but there was a good amount of all the ingredients (cream cheese, smoked salmon, red onion, arugula and fresh dill). The coffee was enjoyable, as there aren't many options for to go coffee in Dorset. The pizza was phenomenal!!! Fresh out of the oven, amazing quality ingredients and tasted delicious! I'm looking forward to trying their other pizzas as they all sound very good! Such a good food spot so close to our cottage too! I'm glad we decided to check these guys out again!
