Sweet baby Jesus, I never thought I'd find a proper pulled pork sandwich this far north! I grew up in Memphis, Tennessee, the holy land of hogs and home of the World Championship Barbecue Contest. Then I spent 20 years in Texas, where barbecue is practically a religion. So yeah, I know my way around some smoked meat. And let me tell you, The Mill on Main in this quaint Canadian town serves up one damn fine pulled pork sandwich. Oh, and thank you Olivia for being an amazing server. 5 stars easy!

The food was decent. The nachos had chips and not the regular stuff. Found the cheese a bit lacking. Hopefully next time we will get more cheese. The pizza was also not bad but a bit soggy in the middle. The hot wings was really hot (good thing). In general we found the pricing a bit high given the portion size is kind of small. Would we come back? Sure!

Wonderful food and service...spent our 26th wedding anniversary at this charming little place. The fish tacos and Caesar salad were wonderful as was the pulled pork. Definitely would visit again if ever in the area!

Visited this place around last weekend of Sept and weather was pretty amazing so got to sit on the outside patio area they have! The ambiance is great and food was Yummm. Ordered naan and pita in starter and it was great. Also ordered Margarita pizza which was so so delicious. 10/10 for the food quality and taste. The server was nice too! Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Huntsville!

Stopped by the Mill for a quick lunch while driving through Huntsville. From the looks of it, this is more of a dinner and drinks type of place, as I was the only one there in the afternoon. The restaraunt has a covered patio in the back as well as a rooftop patio (which was closed when I was there). I had the maple bacon pizza which was delicious. The pizza is properly prepared in a wood burning oven. The crust is super thin (almost too thin for my taste) and the toppings are fresh and imaginative. I would really like to come back for dinner one day.

We came to Huntsville for a Sunday - Tuesday "weekend" and wanted to be as covid safe as possible. So instead of dining in, we ordered 2 pizza's to go and could not have been happier! First, they are wood fired pizzas - legit! So yummy! Thin crispy crust with great flavour. Pizza 1: Taste of Autunno Garlic and oregano infused olive oil, roasted butternut squash, brie cheese and crushed walnuts, drizzled with balsamic reduction. To say this Za was delicious would be a massive understatement Pizza 2: The Carnivore Tomato sauce, prosciutto, spicey salami, bacon, mozzarella and pecorino. This had a small hint of spice and salty bite that we were craving. I will 100% be back next time I'm in town.

Walking into the place, I thought the food would be standard bar food. There was no one inside the building, but once you get to the patio, you'll get one of the best views of the lake! So that's where the people are at! There's a busy dock where you can watch boats drive by. Don't walk by this place, try them as it's a must while in Huntsville. The Ceasar salad was great, in house dressing I believe. It was creamy and garlicky, with a lemon zest, better and distinct from Renee's salad dressing, which some chain bar food places use. The wings were perfect! They're not your average steroid overly dusted bar food wings. The hot sauce wasn't the typical franks red hot type of hot sauce. Again, I think the wings sauce was made in house, it was creamy. Tried the northern heat which was one level down from the hottest sauce. The wings had soft and tender meat and a bit crunchy skin. It was also a good size. The halibut that my companion ordered was dry and he didn't like it much, so that's one star off. You gotta have consistent great food for a five star, although if it were not for the so-so review of the halibut I'd have given this place a 100%. The wings weren't served with carrots and celery, but instead was served with a tiny amount of spring salad with carrots, cucumber and grape tomatoes. The wings were served with a side sauce of Ceasar. The coleslaw that came with the fish and chips was so crisp and had an extra zing, maybe mustard seed, but the server said it was curry. It didn't taste like curry though. The fries they served with the fish and chips were wedge fries. This place uses herbs in their recipes, making them distinct from the usual bar food. I'm surprised that only one reviewer commented on this. It's like dining in a you gotta eat here restaurant. Servers were friendly, but not that knowledgeable with respect to food ingredients.

Overall, the pie has good flavours (the parmesan adds such a nice salty finish) and the toppings are well spread out allowing each bite to incorporate all the ingredients. While Pizza One has tons of developed recipes, my husband always goes with his custom pizza ($18.50 for a medium): pepperoni, mushroom, onions, and extra cheese. His wasn't as impressive as the chicken bruschetta, the pepperoni were larger slices, which meant they needed to be toasted longer as the soggy centre ends up tasting like bologna. With the extra cheese, Pizza One should consider applying less marinara to ensure the crust doesn't become doughy and soft. They are not a thin crust pizza, but their crust is still slimmer than what's typically found at the chains. The chicken bruschetta's crust was nice and airy, and the bottom lightly toasted until it almost had a Pizza Hut crunch and flavour but without the greasiness and heaviness. I've never had it myself, but my husband claims it's like New Orleans's pizza crust.

The pizza itself was absolutely amazing. Perfect balance of toppings, cheese and crust. It's so perfect that even after 4 slices, I don't feel bloated. I really liked the sauce and the wonderful ingredients that make it such a great combination. Definitely need to come in - am sure it's one of the best in town.

And we hadn't been bothered by mosquitos yet in Muskoka (apparently it had been "too hot"), so we'd been rather cavalier with the mosquito spray. Cue "Lord of the Valkyries" from "Apocalypse Now" with the entrance of the mosquitos. The mosquitos particularly seemed to be fond of the picante pizza. That's when they made their first appearance - I'm guessing it was because of the honey on the pizza - and they dissipated somewhat when the food was gone. Some candles would have been nice to help with our mosquito naivete but the restaurant didn't have any. We got a seasonal special of Niagara-on-the-Lakes peach caprese. They had me at peach, caprese, AND Niagara-on-the-Lakes (one of my favorite places). The dish consisted of peaches, bocconcini (small fresh mozzarella balls), cucumbers, and peach gazpacho. It was good but small and honestly I thought it would be better. We were told the aforementioned picante pizza (salami, fior di latte mozzarella, honey) was the most popular. The salami was cut too big so some bites were all salami and some bites were no salami. It was good but I'd get a different pizza in the future. There's a similar pizza ("the sweet and heat" at State of Mind) in Palo Alto near where I live that works a little better that's topped with bacon, jalapenos, and honey. The husband and daughter liked their margherita pizza. My favorite dish was the pappardelle with short rib ragu. Short ribs always make everything better. The server was really nice and volunteered some places to visit in Muskoka.
