After receiving that advice, my wife was so upset at GE she called the company. They agreed to pay for new parts but wanted a report from the repairman, Carlos. We gave them Carlos's number and received a call from Carlos shortly thereafter wherein he advised us that he would not write a report for GE unless they paid him to do so. After paying $375 for nothing, that did not sit well with me. GE then sent another repairman who quickly diagnosed the problem as broken pump. It took him 10 minutes. The same repairman returned and installed the new pump for $280 including the DW installation. GE paid for the new pump. and the dishwasher works great. I've had this on my TO Do list for six months for a reason and it is not because I like to waste my time writing reviews. First his diagnosis was wrong--he said the motor was shot it was not. Second, he was expensive -- the GE repairman actually repaired and re-installed the DW for a third less. Finally, he would not even write a simple report without more money--that is why i am writing this review. $375 bucks for bad advice and he would not even write a short report.

The installers complained constantly about how difficult it was for them and this was too big for the space. With some difficulty they did get the new unit in place. I noticed a very large tear in the vinyl floor from having to push the unit in. When pointed out they initially denied doing it then said it was unavoidable. They took no responsibility for their actions and did not make any suggestion on how to repair. They were defensive and kept blaming the size of the unit and the age of the floor (4yrs!) Would definitely NOT recommend.

He was very upfront about his quote, which was higher than some, but definitely not unreasonable, so we decided to give this business a try. He and his wife donned slippers and masks when they arrived which made us feel more comfortable about having two people in our house during Covid - 19. It turned out the problem with our dishwasher was quite the enigma, but Andy wasn't going to let it defeat him! The repair took longer than expected, but Andy did not charge us a whole lot more than the estimate. He wasn't about to guarantee the length of the fix, and rightly so given the age of the dishwasher. He did however, advise us to call him if we needed new appliances, and he called us the next day to confirm the dishwasher was still working. Excellent customer service and I would hire Andy again.

Chris actually phoned us about 1 hour later,guiding us threw afew things to find out what had gone wrong with the furnace.Phone call saved alot of time,so before coming to our house Chris could stop and pick up the part.Dave and Chris is extremely professional and very polite and fast at getting things done.We are so lucky that we have heat in our house could of taken longer like afew days.The inducer had broken down.We are lucky that we know a reliable place Mainland Heat&Air Conditioning to fix our furnace. I had work done by Langley Mainland in Jan of 2019, at which point the plumbers there installed a inducer fan and motor on my Carrier furnace. The cost of said work for everything was in the area of 1450.00 dollars. I was more than happy to pay the price as it was very cold and your company got to my predicament in a very short time. Move forward now to July of this year 2020 and I go down to change the furnace filter and discover water stain on top of the cover below the inducer assembly. I go to Mainland P & H in Langley and no one is at the office so I go to another P and H company to see if they can help me. Gandy P And H comes to the house a week later and tells me that the spacers are missing from the inducer assembly and that is why I have the water leak. They suggest that I phone your company back and have them do the work, as they were the ones who neglected to install them in the first place. If the spacers are not ordered with the new inducer motor and assembly you must retrieve them from the old one and use them. After much quibbling from your office mgr he agrees to cover the cost of the spacers but still charges me for the service call. Move forward to last week October 30th and your Langley store sends out a plumber to look at my inducer assembly as it is leaking water again and this time it is the silicone seal on the inducer assembly itself. Your office is non-commital about if they can get the part, when they can install it and if the part only being under two yrs old is under warranty'. At this point I enlist another firm to do the work as I have a building inspection coming up as I am selling the house. Part was ordered and installed same day October 30 2020. Imagine my surprise when I get a bill for the part and it is 450 dollars and with the service call and furnace inspection I pay under 750 dollars. That is a far cry from the 1450 dollars I paid to your Langley Firm. I understand there is always a markup on parts but this is very unfair. To make matters worse your Langley office mgr was very unprofessional and hung up on me during our last telephone conversation. All together not a pleasant experience from your company. I am seeking some sort of restitution for the over charge on the part and the negligence involved in not installing the spacers the first time the inducer assembly and motor were changed. Would also like an apology for the discourteous manner in which I was treated by the Manager of Langley branch of your company.
