I had just cracked my phone when I got on yelp to look for a fast fix! I requested a quote from many locations and Tech Boys responded so fast and gave me a great deal I couldn't turn down. Zero fucking stars ! ! I took my phone to get fixed for green lines on my phone. They fixed it for me but my phone started acting slow right away. Keyboard writing things that I'm not typing. I didn't have time to take my phone back right away so I called in advance to let them know I would Be back in about a week . Today I came in to let them now my screen was acting slow they said to come back in one hour. I came back and hour later and they said thirty more minutes !!! After waiting for about twenty I called to see if it was ready before I went in. they said that they could not fix the phone , and that all of a sudden the battery "expanded" and is causing my keyboard to act slow. BUT IF IT WAS MY BATTERY THAT WAS THE ISSUE THEY WOULD HAVE SAID THAT SINCE THE FIRST TIME I BROGHT MY PHONE TO GET FIXED WITH THEM. I already paid 85 dollars the first time I took my phone to get fixed there and they disassembled my phone then .! They would have seen that my battery had expanded!!! BECAUSE. THE SAME DAY THEY GAVE ME BACK MY PHONE IT STARTS ACTING SLOW. THEY DID NOT WANT TO FIX MY PHONE UNDER THE "SCREEN WARRANTY " that they gave me . EVEN THO THE PROBLEM ONLY STARTED AFTER THEY GAVE ME MY PHONE BACK . I would much rather spend my money with someone at the mall ! Time to hop into another review [something I don't do often but when I do take on a review I take my time with it]. Without Further Ado *Curtain Fly's Up* I called on a Friday at 3 PM, yes I was one of those guys, but I was desperate my computer wasn't working, I spent hours each morning just turning it on and to my dismay I was causing tension in the office with my constant computer frustrations. Low and behold we have the amazing software known as google, so I typed in "Computer Repair" found these guys and called, and yes it was again Friday at 3 PM. We all know Friday at 3 PM is basically like being at LAX waiting to long for the people you're picking up and the guy comes up to your car and says you need to leave - you just don't do it but again here I was. So let's get to the call: I call and ask what do I do to my happiness I got a very Friendly Haik on the phone saying "just bring it in - the diagnosis fee is very reasonable we will take a look at it and apply the diagnosis fee to the repair itself" to my joy I said "Ill be there in 5 minutes". Lets fast forward to my phone call post diagnosis which was Tuesday morning, from Andy. Andy had let me know he believes my problem is coming from SSD drive and that he needs to replace it. He told me what he was replacing it with, what the cost would be, and that if this doesn't work he won't charge me till he fixes the problem. Again to my joy I said "Please go ahead". Lets fast forward again: its been three weeks since my repair and my computer is humming like the day I brought it out of the box.... I came here to get a front and back screen replacement on my iPhone 14, it was pretty damaged. I understand having to take a while to get everything removed and replaced but after almost 6 hrs I came back to get an update. All the sudden it's the battery too. Okay great, but after having the phone that long you couldn't have called to tell me I'd have to spend more to replace something. Whatever not a big deal but yet the phone still wasn't done, they kept the phone overnight and the full next day! If I'd gone anywhere else they would have not taken 24+hrs for this. Came time to pick up the phone took it home and not even 2 days pass and the screen is lagging, battery is getting hot, and the screen pops and splits. I take it back the following few days when I finally get the chance, and they are trying to blame me for the damage on a faulty battery and screen!? Like what! They told me bc of the previous damage it's still not working... so you didn't fix it properly the time? I got the warranty so I got a free screen only replacement but wouldn't go back if I had to. read more
