Not wanting to have to resign in to all my apps and emails and everything else I found myself wandering down for some ice cream and saw iSquad Repair, popped in and explained the situation and the gentlemen behind the counter sanitized, cleaned, and cleaned my charging port of all debris (and most likely soda) and got it back up and charging in less than 5 minutes at Super Fast Charging 2. One thing to note for potential customers, if they tell you your stereo component will be ready in six to eight weeks it is because they are busy. If you want your classic audio system repaired by a pro, Fred is the way to go. He and Jimmy will take good care of it. Jimmy will also call you or send you a text with an update, if need be. Fred is a friendly guy and has a sense of humor. If you don't have a sense of humor you probably won't get his. Please make yourself aware of their hours -for- customer appointments. Keeping it simple: they are busy because they know what they are doing. I saw first hand the inventory of stereo units that are being repaired and on deck for repair. I am a business owner myself, the customer is so important, but it is important that the customer trust the business owner they are hiring. My CD player was fixed on time and works perfectly now. I went to their "office" and it was disappointment from start to finish. I walked into a room with 2 guys, a desk, and pure awkwardness. I told him that I was the one who inquired about the new iPhone camera on yelp. He looked through his messy desk and determined he couldn't find my part and I would have to wait til Monday. So I left. Just downstairs in the same building, was San Diego Jailbreak. I went into a nicer "office" where the owner, Jeff, was very polite and helpful. He quoted me the same price as his competitor, but he actually had the iPhone part I needed. What's cool about Jeff's business is that he has a waiting room, so you don't have to deal with the awkwardness of watching someone fix your phone. Part of the time I was waiting, I sat near his desk to watch some college football on TV and he was even social enough to have some good conversation while he worked. He was able to replace my iPhone camera within 15 minutes and it was as painless as it could possibly be. He did it quick at a fair price of $50. I guess the only thing the other guys had a leg up on, was that they offered me a 6 month warranty on the new camera and San Diego Jailbreak only offered 60 days. So, my piece of mind is a little questionable. Despite that, Jeff seems like the type of guy who would take care of his customers. Also, he's a self proclaimed perfectionist and I can totally see that watching him work. I'll be back here for any phone repairs in the future! 5 stars!

I have tried to be extremely patient and understanding because unexpected hardships do happen. However, after being promised twice that our TV would be returned "by the end of the week"..once about 3 months ago and again about a month ago, we still do not have it back. At the same time, I've noticed recent reviews showing other TVs being repaired and delivered. He did provide us with a temporary "loaner" TV while ours was supposedly being repaired, but it has a line through the screen and is not comparable to the 85" Sony TV we paid nearly $500 to have repaired. It has now been about 11months with no resolution and currently no responses. I'm simply sharing my experience so others are aware there may be a risk of extremely long delays or not getting their TV returned.

I brought my iPhone 12 Pro in to have the back glass replaced (badly cracked each time, yeah I suck) and to have a new battery installed. Every single guy I've interacted with has been awesome. They are very friendly, work quickly, care about the customers and are VERY accommodating. HOW accommodating you might ask? Well I brought my phone in yesterday to have the back glass and battery replaced. They were able to fix the back glass no problem but did not have the battery at the north park location so they asked to come in tomorrow. I mentioned that I wouldn't make it by closing because of my work commute. Well that didn't deter them from being awesome at all. Not only did Miguel, from the downtown shop, bring the battery up from his store, but he showed up at the north park location 30 minutes after closing AND replaced the battery for me. I choose to support local businesses and I am MORE than happy to spend some time writing up a review (here and on google) for great people behind a great local small business. I hope this review is helpful (it really is) and hope you give them your business (cmonnn). Thank you guys for giving a s**t about your customers!
