I was contacted by a phone sales representative. They sent me a quote for 4 phone lines, internet and service for tablet which was $121. My bill did not reflect the quote. The sales rep that came to my house was a different person than the one I talked to on the phone. She said it would be $10 higher since I only was going to move forward with (2) lines instead of (4). That was far from the truth. I have contacted AT&T customer service over the phone (3) times about this issue. They have still yet to resolve the problem. They said to go into store and they could help me out with my trade in device so I will not be charged monthly for a new phone. In the store they told me I would need to contact Cusotmer service. Seems like I keep getting the run around while still being charged more than I was told. They set me up with two accounts which I was not aware of. I was only receiving one bill for one account which was very confusing. I have had my service cut off twice already due to all the confusion of my billing and accounts. Bottom line, don't listen to the sales reps and make sure they clarify your billing before. I should have stayed with TMobile. Such a disappointment. read more

I went in a few days ago to this AT&T store. I spoke w/Marvelle. He told me the emails I received from AT&T that advertised the new Samsung S25, S25+, S25 Ultra, etc...where "for NEW customers only. Not for existing customers." When I left, he said, "they just send those emails to get you to come into the store." They obviously were not looking to "make a sale." Walked in here on a Saturday morning and was immediately greeted and after 5 minutes was taken care. There was a sense of calmness, goofiness, and good solid vibes in the room. The two workers clearly have a good rapport and was talking (jokes, questions, advice) to each other as they were taking care of their people. The interaction plus their customer service plus them working together to piece together a package I ended up going with was amazing and I'm grateful. I ended up finding great value from a bundle package. Since coming here, I have specifically recommend this location to people. They do have some interesting things coming out in the future and I might come back to browse their selection in a few weeks. read more

At first, I felt that Amador was a helpful and polite young man. But, unfortunately, the desire to make commission clearly overpowered the desire to remain ethical. He committed the following unethical sales tactics: (1) he strongly mislead me into thinking getting a worse phone and paying $5.99 a month and NOT doing a trade-in to get a better phone for less money (potentially $0.00) a month was a "better deal"; (2) he attempted to argue it was better because then I'd keep my "old phone" which was not functioning properly and the reason I went to the store in the first place; (3) his manager, AJ arrived and told me my trade-in phone would only be $350 although the promo said "any condition" was fine for the $1000 trade-in; (4) they both tried to incorrectly argue that because my phone was NOT a "14 pro" (just a 14) that it did not fit into the $1000 trade-in promo criteria; (5) after talking to AT&T customer service on a RECORDED CALL in the store, we got clarity that my iPhone 14 was worth the $1000 AND the model, an iPhone 14, was eligible for that promo since it was above 13p (which I had told them several times and the rep affirmed that even if it was not turning on at the moment, it still worked for the trade-in as being "any condition.") I left with the trade-in value of $1000 for my iPhone 14 and got my iPhone 16p. HOWEVER I felt like something was off, and I looked at my account and two add-ins were added to my bill that I did NOT agree to: (1) A $17 a month insurance charge (I have never had insurance on a phone and I even said I did NOT want it, yet one of them must have added it regardless); and (2) A $10 a month charge for an upgrade AT&T Next plan. WHICH I ALSO DID NOT AGREE TO. When I called TODAY to get those fraudulent charges removed, At&T was ONLY able to remove the insurance but could not remove the $10 a month charge for "AT&T Next" until the "buyer's remorse" period ends 14 days from the "purchase." Which makes ZERO sense since there was not a consenting "buyer" to even have "remorse" since I NEVER agreed to add that it in the first place. THAT means that the salesperson will get credit for a charge of that? I will be calling again and escalating this dispute since a buyers remorse rule should only apply when there is an actual "buyer." IN MY OPINION, THE ABOVE-MENTIONED FACTS CONSTITUTE SHADY AND UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES. My hope is that the young man, Amador, sees this review and NEVER attempts to defraud another customer. Vulnerable people need phones that may not have the time or energy to do the research I did to get a fair deal. Or people who do not have tech education could be completely fooled and overcharged if this is the behavior that continues. This situation is completely disappointing to me as a human being and I hope that this never happens again. The employees need to be better trained on promos, marketing, and ethics. "Any condition" is clearly defined and advertised without caveats. If there are exceptions, they should be CLEARLY stated, otherwise, that is misleading business advertisement. If they attempt to diminish the value of my trade-in, I will not stop until justice is served. I will say I spoke with a rep today and he was very nice. I recommend NEVER going in person and only talking to the AT&T representatives on the phone. He gave me a credit today because the one charge couldn't be removed until I call back after the 14 day period. The reps on the phone seem like they're nice and have no incentive to mislead you. So, I appreciate that a lot. Again, I think Amador is a nice young man. But even nice people make bad choices and he certainly made them in this case. read more

My father was in town for Father's Day week. His iPhone and protective case looked horrible - cracked all over and too bulky for his iPhone. Went in here and got a slimmer otter box protective cover. Needed to fix the screen protector. None fit his iPhone 11. The great lady behind the counter offered to apply a semi-liquid protector and rub it into the screen. Never heard of this and we were amazed when it was finished in just a few minutes! Looked like new!!!! Crazy!!!! Thank you for doing great work and being helpful! read more

They stole my phone when I traded it in. These people are scammers. I turned in my iPhone 12 Pro for trade in. They gave me the receipt for the $1000 trade in credit. I call at&t a month later to check the status and turns out the store cancelled my trade in without my knowledge. I had to go to the store and have the manager talk to at&t customer service and the store couldn't even locate where my phone was. AT&T checked all of their warehouses and my phone was never sent. The manager didn't even bother to call me the next day when i was told they were going to. Don't trust this store with any of your trade ins. They will steal it, act clueless about it and promise you that the manager will follow up but the manager won't. read more

UPDATE - I received a prompt response from some sort of store manager, and was very appreciative. Finally, I would be able to resolve this issue thats taken over the last six months of my life. It's been a week and I still haven't heard anything. I currently owe AT&T over $2,000 because of this stores flat out lie, and the management of the store couldn't care less. This place is atrocious. I understand it's a big company and the workers have to act a certain way/ say certain things but they will attempt to upsell you every chance they get and it's extremely uncomfortable. They are unhelpful when explaining anything (if they explain it to you at all). They never technically lied but they left out extremely important details about the plan I got such as monthly cost breakdowns, how the discounts I was supposed to get worked and even how to pay going forward. All the workers did was gossip with each other and complain about other customers when I was in the store. I left feeling so defeated. read more

Writing this because ***T-Mobile is poop! Will never recommend their service again. Going in-store is absolutely useless and their staff are unable to do anything and always say "you have to call". I shouldn't have to call to get basic things done. I've decided to switch over to AT&T and so happy I did. Worked with Raven at this location and we had small talk over tacos as she worked to switch me over. She informed me of everything I needed to know, was honest with me, and got the job done easily. Once it was my turn, the person helping me was personable, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. He told me all about different promotions and savings but I never felt pressured. I came to this store a few times, I don't remember names just descriptions. On my first visit, I received help from a very thin female with black hair, she was very informative and helped me the best she could. My second visit I came with my sister inquiring about the S23 ultra, I had allot of questions and it so happend that a male who seemed to be very knowledgeable was there, he must of been a manager. He was very helpful and kindly answered all my questions, truly top notch customer service. Edith I believe was her name then took over and helped my sister with the process of ordering her phone. She was very carismatic and helpful. I came back about a week later to return a phone and pre order the S23 ultra, Edith helped me. The only complaint I have with this interaction is that she didn't even ask me and decided to add the phone insurance without my consent. This is not the first time this happened, it also happend at the Mission Valley location where I clearly stated I didn't want insurance 3 times and the guy added it anyways. I have already called at&t to complain about this practice. Not sure if at&t's sales people are getting a commission everytime someone adds insurance to their plan but its plain wrong to disregard the customers wishes. Going back to my several visits, today I received a notification that my phone had arrived so called the store to confirm. The female who answered the phone said that it was very busy and that they had recieved shipments in the back but she couldn't check if the phone was there because she was busy, then someone interrupted and she asked my name and confirmed it was there. She has a very aggressive and stand offish attitude. When I arrived at the store the African American female with glasses (i think her name is Ravyn) helped me. I have a slight suspicion she is the one I interacted with over the phone. I decided to get my phone shipped to the store and not my home because I was expecting to be helped with activating the phone and inserting the sim card but she just gave me the box and told me their wifi was spotty and pretty much to do everything home. I stayed because I wasn't confident the phone line would work. I then opened the box and asked for her help to insert the sim card, she didn't seemed to pleased to help. After this, the phone didn't connect so I went back to the desk, at that point another female ( she had long nails and beautiful long hair) stepped in to help me. As she was asking what the issue was, the African American lady was making comments which sounded very condescending. She gave this very negative vibe, she didn't directly say it but she looked at me as if I was dumb because I needed help to insert the sim card and activate the device. How dare I ask for help from someone who's job is to do just that, help the customer! Every single time I have bought a phone or switched lines, the customer service associate has done this for me. I have never encountered such a lazy person like this one. The female that jumped in to help was very nice and helpful. Word of advice for the lady with glasses, do your damn job! read more

Very poor Customer service. I gave this store and this employee (Raven) 5 stars about 1 year ago but maybe becoming a manager has affected her priorities. When I dealt with her 1 year ago she was very helpful. This time she prioritizes her sales. My phone broke and i got this phone from her (been going to the same store for years) so i went to the store. Raven said that i needed to file a claim but because my phone was broken, I asked her if i could call from the store (sometimes they ask for stuff that i wouldn't know right away but the store would and i was already there). Even though there was only one other customer in the store been helped by another employee she said that they didn't have a phone for customers. I asked her again because I would find it incredulous that a store that sells phones doesn't have a phone for customers. I pointed out to her that her employee was helping a customer and she was on the phone. She said the employee was using her personal phone to help the customer and basically said she was not going to help me. Went to the store in Tierra Santa which is 10 minutes away and the manager Chris was able to help me and get me back on the road after 5 minutes. Biggest take away; 1- Don't go here unless you want to buy something. They are not interested in customer service. Raven is interested in selling, selling, selling. 2- The fact that her employee was willing to help customers but the manager wasn't makes me wonder if ATT have their priorities right when they pick leadership. I will never go back to this store but instead will go to Chris store for any upgrades to my phone even if its a further drive. So long term, Raven lost a returning customer even her priorities was to make a sale. I talked to Chris and he told me that even though all managers are busy (he was trying to defend Raven), you still need to do customer assistance because he likes to treat people like he likes to be treated. If ATT reads this, Promote Chris to Regional Manager and have Raven be retrained. Customer Assistance and returning customers are KEY for any business to succeed. I read other Yelp reviews and Raven assisted Yolanda V. on the same insurance claim issues (7/24/20) that she was unwilling to help me. So sad that she doesn't care about customer assistance anymore. read more

I ordered service from AT&T (and a new smartphone) online. The phone came quickly by FedEx, but I had trouble activating it. So I went to this AT&T store for help. Sales Associate Chris said my number wasn't transferred over from Verizon, even though I had requested that and gave AT&T my Verizon account number and pin. After many tries, a patient and determined Chris straightened out the mishap, and got my phone up and running. And there was no charge. That's good customer service, so I can recommend the North Park store. And the AT&T 4G Network is way better than Verizon's. P.S. I live in San Diego; I don't know why it says San Francisco. One person can make all the difference.... and EJ Ramirez did just that. The store was short staffed. There were two people in front of me and the only worker in the store was with them for over a half hour. I was ready to walk out.... and then Mr. Ramirez came into the store, immediately came over to help me and he worked wonders. He went far above and beyond the call of duty in helping me- and the entire time he was pleasant, knowledgeable and efficient. This goes for the one on University near Cleveland also. I will be switching us to Verizon in the Spring. The Rancho Bernardo one is a lot better and the people at that one are friendly and helpful. When I got my turn I wanted to get the 128gb iPhone 11 model but was repeatedly insisted on the 256gb iPhone 11 model. the lady didn't listen and even said I'd have to bring the phone back if I got the model I wanted.
