Josiah initially helped me and was incredibly friendly & patient. He did everything he could within his role & tried his best to assist, even connecting me with tech support. Unfortunately, my issue was more complicated- I had created my iCloud acct. with a different spelling given the name I used was already taken, which made it very difficult to access & unlock my phone. That's when Shane stepped in, and I'm so grateful he did. He was patient and took the time to walk me through everything, and guided me on exactly who to contact and what steps to take. Even with my proof of purchase and ID, it wasn't enough to immediately resolve the issue, which is very frustrating- especially coming from Android and still learning how to navigate the iPhone. What stood out most was Shane's follow-up and genuine care. He checked in to see if I had heard back from tech support and made sure I was taken care of, knowing how long those responses can take. With his guidance and patience, I was finally able to get my phone unlocked. I truly appreciate both Josiah's kindness and Shane's dedication. Shane went above and beyond to make a stressful situation much easier, and I'm very thankful for his help. That said, I do feel Apple should make it easier for customers to unlock their own devices. It was frustrating that even with proof of purchase and ID, there isn't a way for stores to assist directly with unlocking, and wait time for online support to get back can take more than 2 1/2 weeks. Because of this experience, I would hesitate to choose Apple again in the future. My rating is higher primarily because of the excellent service from Shane and Josiah--their professionalism, patience, and follow-through made all the difference in an otherwise very frustrating process.

Apple in Fashion Valley is like the typical crazy busy Apple stores in most places…read more Have been here a few times and although I didn't like the wait time for a tech staffer to help me at the Genius Bar, when I finally got someone to assist me with tech issues, the staffers all tried their best to Fix the issue. Some were successful and others not so much but I did witness their effort in really trying. Impressed with the work effort, I returned to this store to see if they could match another offer I got from ATT, where I would get a substantial amount for a trade in and additional discounts on accessories. Sadly, despite all their efforts, this Apple Store couldn't match all the offers ATT could and subsequently I ended up accepting ATT. The Genius Bar staffers and store manager were great and whether or not you have another offer, I suggest you see if Apple can match it. At least you'll know if your other offer is legit and worth it. Recommend

Previously it had taken the last employee well over an hour to help me do the same thing, and today DJ solved my issue in a fraction of the time -- with a smile, friendliness, and affability to boot! I was SO grateful because I had walked in with a slight attitude, absolutely DREADING yet ANOTHER hour+ visit... but DJ was like the friendly & VERY capable hygienist at the dentist -- he zeroed in on the issue/his task, got it done in record time, and turned your day around + gave you a little extra pep in your step for the day because of his positive energy! When I showed up, the repairman looked up long enough to tell me that they don't fix iPods any more. When I responded that it claimed so on the website, he dismissed me saying, "yeah, well, the parts can be hard to get and can also be expensive" -- and I was just flabbergasted at the response. I walked away. Maybe he was not the Expert Technician the website claims they have who can repair ANY repair. For what it's worth, the technician did have at least three or four open iPhones that were being actively worked on out in the open at the cash register ... Typical AT&T, they'll NEVER change. I had a 1 PM…read moreappointment. I walked in at 12:59 PM. There were 2 sales associates. One was helping a client, and one was on his phone. No one asked if I had an appointment, and there was no sign-in sheet, like I have seen at other AT&T store locations. At 1:10 PM the first sales associate helped the woman who was there before me, and fair enough. At 1:20 PM, after watching the second associate continue on his phone, which was likely work and not play, the first associate got up, and said he'd help when he was done with the woman he was helping. I said that was fine, and that I had a 1 PM appointment. He checked and said he did not see any appointment (I still have the email receipt showing I did have an appointment). He said he'd quickly help as soon as he could. At 1:30 PM a brand new client walked in, after waiting about 2 minutes, the second associate took that random walk-in, before my appointment, which was now 30 minutes late. At 1:40 PM I walked out. I'd like someone from AT&T to contact me, so I can tell them where to send me a check for my wasted time. I'd also like John Stankey to terminate himself as CEO. He has had 5 years to make things better. Stank-man does not deserve to run a Starbucks location, let alone AT&T. AT&T has stayed in the cellar in terms of customer service, attention to detail, and don't get me started on how I have to call in to their 800# 3-5 times a year to correct an invoice. They are CONSTANTLY over charging me, and I am regularly calling in to explain things to them, to then get the bill reduced, along with a promise that it won't happen again. BUT IT KEEPS HAPPENING! I have never, ever been to an AT&T retail store that was efficient and knew that they were doing. And AT&T in general is one of the most horribly run companies of its size.

When we brought it up, AT&T said they couldn't help us. At that point, we were already locked in. It's clear the reps only cared about making a sale and getting their commission, not about honesty or helping customers. Please be careful. Get everything in writing if you even consider AT&T -- and expect that once you sign, you're on your own. I wish we had known before getting stuck with a much higher bill.

The final nail in the coffin, as Verizon has been nothing but an expensive headache for years now. My phone broke. I came in and was told the cheapest way to proceed was to add a line. My bill was to "never exceed $350" and that was it. Two month later I have a bill for $1600. They called customer service for me & customer service said there's nothing they can do, so the store apologized. How can you lie, this is peoples money you are messing with? Not only that but my bill is back to $700 this month. And I know once I go in it'll be the same result. Doing anything in my power to get out of Verizon. All scams and customer service won't even help you for issues. Also the line is here at least an hour or two each time I go. Never a good experience.
