Take days to respond via email and try to only communicate by phone to avoid having proof in writing. Lost Facebook messages with them, due to their ad going against guidelines. They attempted to retain most of my deposit as "shipping charges" after I cancelled my order. They require a deposit of 408.32. Which I paid, then they wanted the full amount the next day. So I paid, once I was done paying I received an email asking for the rest of the payment. I called them and told them I paid. They asked me to screen shot a copy of my payment?! Red flag!!! I then requested a full refund. absolutely awful company with near malicious sales reps. They shipped the motor I had order to the wrong address and would not change the address to ship it to the correct location. Would not refund me fully for the broken parts and claimed damage had not been done to engine due to poor shipping practices (i had picture proof). I am a still chasing their tail for a partial refund and it's been two weeks since we had come to and agreement. this company is shady at best and will transfer you endlessly if you have any issues with them. I do not advise every buying anything from these people. I've been hung up on and talked down upon due to their own Incompetencies and lack of communication between staff. They didn't try and pull any funny business with me and sent me two "good enough" motors (first one wasn't of the engine code I requested), but they LIED about the mileage on BOTH of them. Said it was 90k on both motors, but it was really 221k and 180k respectively. NEVER USE! Bad business. LOTS OF HIDDEN FEES that I was thankfully able to avoid by vigorous complaint. read more

I paid $2750.00 for a motor had was told nothing was missing nothing was wrong with it it was in A 1 shape ready to be dropped in and go! got the motor and it was not what I was told! it had no starter no alternator the lines was smashed and unusable they said it even came with a radiator which it did NOT! I've been promised refunds numerous times but still have not received my $400. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. Every attempt to communicate regarding getting my refund has been challenging. DO NOT TRUST! NOT TRUSTWORTHY BUSINESS! These people come across as professional and send out numerous emails that make this business appear legit. I placed an order and put a down payment on a used engine. I was told it would take 7-15 days before the engine would be delivered. This was on a Wednesday. Then the following Tuesday, I received two calls that were identified as POTENTIAL SPAM. I subsequently answered the 2nd call and spoke to a person that was requesting payment for the engine that had not yet been delivered or even shipped. I was transferred to another person that identified a delivery service I never heard of. The person then said she would get me delivery confirmation for me to follow up on. I never heard back from this person. I did a Google query and found 1 star ratings and possible scam business. I called back this business and found that a couple of numbers were bad to include the number that called me. I got through on a 888 number. The person that answered lied stating my card had been denied last week and that an email was sent out. This was not true. The down payment was had been taken out. I requested a refund and to cancel the order. The person said I was responsible for 'processing fees' and placed me on hold for a few minutes. Subsequently, I hung up, called my CC company to close my credit card and dispute the charge. BAD EXPERIENCE! read more

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY! They too k $4800 from me for an engine they didn't have, I ordered a 2018 Ford Explorer, 3.5l with turbos and no oil cooler with 65k miles. I received an engine, that has 155k miles, and no turbos. Called the Fenix Auto warehouse that they shipped it from, which have now stopped doing business with them due to their poor practices....Techgineer ordered this engine from them and paid them somewhere in the $2000 range. totally scamming me. well, I called, complained and had them pick that engine up and they sent me another engine that we agreed upon with 85k miles and turbos. 2 things happened, upon arrival the courier dropped the engine 3 times, an but we still accepted it. upon inspection, the engine was in bad shape, several broken parts and NO TURBOS again. At this point I'm done with them. and have been requesting a refund for the last 10 weeks, they tell me they are having problems with their bank but it should be refunded in 4-5 days. At the time of this revise review, it still Ja has not been traine refunded and we're about to send a demand late letter, and if that doesn't work, we're going to snap claims court! the Techgineer Auto is basically just a call center that will take your money then find the cheapest engine they can find and send it to you hoping you're stupid and won't call them out on it!
