I had a 6 pm wax scheduled and got there 6:07 due to something out of my control, which sometimes happens in life no biggie. I did not think anything of getting there 6:07 I wouldn't mind waiting extra long since I did arrive a little late and they close at 7. However when I arrive the doors were locked. I called a few times going straight to automated message and texted the number extremely confused. They said they have a 5 min grace period (which is extremely rigid and complete BS) and the waxer left 6:07 to pick up her kids. I was going on vacation the next day and was unable to reschedule and they said they do not give refunds but would credit me towards another day which I passed on since I honestly did not want to give them any more of my money after this experience. I used to tell everyone this was my favorite wax place but after this experience I would not recommend booking here unless you're prepared to risk losing your money over a few minutes, even when the business itself is closing early without notice. There's a difference between professionalism and policy and unfortunately, this experience lacked both. read more
