I booked the 60 minute hair wash. I tried calling and no call back 2 days before I came in. I booked online the same day and I was confirmed via their online booking system. This was my first time doing a hair spa and facial. This was a gift from a coworker who came to this very location. I came early and was greeted. It was nicely decorated and welcomed in the front. I was escorted into a space separated by curtains. Not really private and felt a little uncomfortable undressing and putting a towel dress with my shoulders exposed for the massage. When dressing I noticed dust, ants, and a daddy long leg in the corner. My space was the first on the left. My overall experience was ok. I enjoyed the facial that had 5 different layers. I think I was most disappointed that I didn't get the machine operated head wash shower. This was not the experience advertised in the pictures on the website. The staff used a manual shower head. It was just a regular hair wash you usually get when you get your hair cut at a salon. Also, the basic blow dry did not have hair protectant. I felt like my scalp was super dry after the service. Unsure if I would come back. read more

Found them on Instagram because I wanted a couples treatment - we got the hair wash and that was $80, fairly priced for what you got. The head wash was equipped with a head massage, mini facial, and blow dry. I appreciated that there was no small talk, making this a perfect and enjoyable experience. The massages received were amazing. I appreciated how attentive and kind staff were - they provided excellent customer service and at all points were attentive and were gentle with my long hair. My partner and I truly enjoyed this experience. The salon is beautifully decorated. My only thing is that the experience is only enclosed by curtains so at one point I could hear a customer complaining abt her eyebrows and eyelashes, making it less enjoyable. Parking was easy as it is in a large shopping center. read more

EXPERIENCED LASH & EYEBROW BEAUTY BAR IN SJ! I've been going to Van at V Beauty since late 2020 for all of my lash and eyebrow needs. I initially came here after doing much research on microblading and ombre brows and who had those offerings available near where we live. I reached out to Van over IG for a consultation appointment and have been going here ever since. Now, I literally do not trust anyone else to touch my brows. In addition to brows, they also provide lash extension offerings which I also enjoy getting done. Van is so gentle yet quick when applying them and my eyes do not burn from the glue afterwards. She's incredibly talented and provides such a relaxing and comforting experience. I hope to try one of their facial offerings next! They have a really good variety of different facials which I am down for experimenting with each of them. Pricing for their offerings is very reasonable here given that you get such a lovely customer experience each time. I came in December and my friends and we got hair wash packages (don't remember what package). Staff was super nice and the hair washing itself was relaxing, however when it came to the blow dry it did not go so well. For the blow dry they did not use any heat protectant, and while I understand it's a basic blow dry it would be my assumption they would use something to protect my hair. When leaving the salon our hair was really dry. If I were to come back I would probably leave with my hair wet next time. read more

I wanted to treat myself to a head spa and facial after an exhausting week and was so happy I came to VBeauty!! As soon as I walked into the studio, I was immediately greeted by Van the owner and was honestly blown away by how modern and cute the space was! I really liked the overall vibe and aesthetic. For the facial and head spa, it was so relaxing that I fell asleep for a part of it but I do remember waking up to a hydrating face mask and the water massage running through my head. For both, Vy who was assigned to me, was super thorough and attentive to details. She made sure I was comfortable throughout my experience. The final step was blow-drying my hair and after everything was done, I couldn't stop touching my hair because it was so smooth! You can find yourself as their hairwash combined with facial care and soft massage that make you feels pampered after a long tiredness. I was able to book an appointment a week before for a head spa and it was a breeze. I did package #3 (according to the IG post). If I were to go back, I would request more of the head massage than a facial. I did get an allergic reaction to one of the products but I don't know which one was it bc they put a good amount of stuff on your face. The place is basically one big room divided by curtains. I kind of wish the spa had a separate room from the lashes bc you can hear other people talking. Overall, staff were nice. read more

Today was my second time going to V beauty. First time I went for a hair spa special they were doing and today I went for their facial promotion with my mom. I am pleased with the service both times I have gone. Staff has always greeted me and are always very friendly. The facials are always very relaxing and I love the little massages that are included. Staff has been very gentle with my face and my hair when it comes to the hair washes. At no point did the service ever feel rushed. This was my mom's first time getting any kind of spa treatment and she loved every bit of it. She noticed the difference in her face right after, as did I. She's already asking when can we come back. I got the #3 hair wash/facial/head, shoulder neck massage package. It was worth it for almost 90 minutes. The only thing was I guess I have a sensitive scalp and she was pretty rough with my hair despite telling her to be more gentle. There's a slight language barrier, but it was relaxing. They used a Vietnamese shampoo, and a hair scrub, which was extra. Also had a face mask on while getting hair washed. Next time I think i will do 60 minutes instead because 90 felt too long. But my hair felt lighter and smelled amazing after the Dyson blowout. I also saw the hair analysis before and after to compare results. read more

I was going to the same person for my lashes, facial and brows for the past 12 years. She has moved out of the state, and I was not even sure what I was going to do. Being with the same person that long, I am super picky about my lashes. Van was recommended from a friend, and I decided to give her a try. I figured if I didn't like her, I can keep searching. I told her I wanted volume lashes since that is what I had in the past, and let her do her thing. For the first appt, I didn't want to give too much guidance and can always adjust afterwards. It came out great, but too voluminous then what I was use to. Came back a 2nd time and told her less volume, and they came out exactly how I wanted. Love my lashes. Then I gave their facials a try with Lee. He is amazing! This man really puts in the work during my extractions. I see him every 2 weeks and after the 2nd facial, there has been less breakouts. Highly recommend and the pricing is very fair! read more

If you don't want to read my full review, just know that if you are looking for a lash place, GO HERE. Daisy has been my lash girl since the beginning and she is seriously the sweetest. She does a great job at making you feel comfortable and making sure you get the look you want. Van (the owner) is also amazing and makes me feel welcomed whenever I am there. The staff is highly trained, service for scheduling is very accommodating, and the facility is very clean. The decor is cute and lots of places for photo ops if you want to take a selfie after you're done. read more

I've been going to Van for the past 6 years for lashes, brows microblading & ombre, she's the owner of V Beauty. Beside providing lash or brows services she also teaches and does private training as well. Van recently expands her shop and added more new services. Today I got to try her new services, it's a facial service called combination facial (its oxygen, glowing and 24k gold facial) and Shampoo service. Lee was my esthetician and he was amazing. Lee is thorough with what products are going on my face and what type of sensation you could feel. I was focused on relaxation and anti-aging and he came through. It was so nice to get arm, hand & neck massages too. After the facial service done, Lee continued to do my shampoo and scalp massage, it was like 30min of heaven! His hands are fantastic. I left with glowing healthy smooth skin and super rejuvenated. I highly recommend to book your appointment at V Beauty and ask for Lee, he's the BEST! I recently had wonderful facial service from a skilled esthetician. I was initially hesitant about facial, it was a new experience for me, but I really wanted to try it out, and I'm glad I did. The experience was absolutely wonderful, and the results were outstanding. The esthetician was professional and friendly, and she had a deep understanding of the intricacies of skincare. I had sensitive skin, and was worried about the products they used. But they used mostly high-end products and my face not only was ok but also feel great after. I'm usually stressed at my office work. That probably took a toll on my skin. Plus it would make bad appearance when I meet clients. However, after just one session, my skin felt rejuvenated and refreshed. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a top-notch facial service, regardless of gender. I would come back probably every 2 weeks not only to enjoy the relaxing experience, but also for better skin health. read more

"I WILL NEVER GO ANYWFERE ELSE" I'm a college student so I don't really have time to put on my make up and lashes. So I love being able to wake up and go, no makeup is necessary with eyelash extensions! They are light, feathery, and totally natural looking. Super duper cute little place. It has a very clean and open feel as you walk in. They have three tables where the eyelash extensions are done. There is a small little area with chips and water. The owner, I think her name is Van, is really nice and very sweet. My sister has been coming to this place for over a year, and I finally came to give them a try. She loves this place, and if she used yelp she would have given them a 5 star review already. The owner here is an expert at eyelashes and she even teaches other people, so they can go out and do lashes as well. The owner doesn't really do the lashes herself, because she says she usually focuses on the eyebrows and she trains other people to do them. The lady who did my lashes was Ngoc and she was very nice, sweet, and gentle. She did take her time, so it took a little longer than average, but I think I fell asleep at one point, so it was okay. I do have to say that the classic here is still pretty thick. I like my lashes to look very very natural, so it was a little thick for me, but everyone else would have loved it and I did get a lot of compliments. The length I did this time was a 10, 11, and 12, but next time I will probably get 9, 10, and 11 and ask for a lot less lashes. I really like this place! read more

Been going for almost two years now and my review stays the same! This place is THE BOMB. I always go to Daisy. She's who I started with but Van and the team are all sweet and they all do a great job. I love Daisy, she's so funny and friendly! She always knows what I want. I usually go for Wispies or Volume sets. I've gotten many compliments and I always send them here! Price can seem pricey to some but you get what you pay for. It's totally worth it. Quality work. She's expressed working with her worker on listening to the customers needs and has been kind enough to personally do my brows in the future. Review prior to speaking to owner: I specifically asked the lady not to make my eyebrows super thin and she said OK. By the time she was done they were very thin and I made a remark that it was super thin and she said yes it looks better on you which made me very upset because I specifically asked her not to do that. It's not for her to decide unless I asked her to do what she felt was best. I even had a photo to go off of and told her to just clean the single hairs. I will not be back at this spot. They charge $17 just for eyebrow threading and she was very pushy to get other work done such as hair on my face or my upper chin, etc..

I was once stuck waiting 15 mins before leaving. When I got home, I received a text from her asking if I was still coming and why I didn't call her when I didn't see her. I admit it was my fault for not calling, but I was already frustrated (didn't think to check Yelp for her number) and I don't think I have to be the one to remind her she has an appointment?? The last time I went to her was my last, as she made my eyebrows incredibly uneven, one curved and one straight. I went home and cried, especially since I was leaving for a trip a few days later. I haven't returned since. I spent a year regrowing my brows and found a new place since I didn't want to risk her messing them up again

I do not think they keep track of appointments and, if they do, I simply cannot imagine how. I have tried texting and the response I get every time is "ok", even if I ask a question in my appointment request. I've tried making an appointment online and the appointment slots are always available and open, which can't be true. While in the salon, I've seen them answer the phone when someone calls to make an appointment, they are always on speakerphone, and I have never seen anyone write anything down after the phone call, they say ok and then just continue to work. Out of the 5 or 6 times I've been here I have only been seen at the time of my appointment once. Once! I am often waiting 30-45 mins and I stay because I have a very tight schedule and make appointments on the only days I can. I'm currently sitting waiting for my 5:00 appointment and it is 5:40 and there are 5 others also waiting, though I don't know what time their appointments are or were. (At 5:06 my manicurist asked me to wait 15 mins and I said fine....but I ended up leaving at 5:45 because she was doing someone's pedicure.) I have always been happy with the services I've received here and their prices are reasonable, which are the reasons for the 2 stars, but I simply will not be back due to their constant lack of respect of "appointment times".

On the day of the appointment, it was extremely disappointing as I drove all the way to Vietnam town on a Sunday where there's already a bit of traffic in the plaza. The business name was different from what was listed on Groupon, the door was locked, and when I called, the owner claimed she had no record of my booking, despite it being the same person I had spoken to earlier in the week and I even confirmed with her my appointment time before ending the call. If you're considering booking here, I'd recommend looking elsewhere like TD Beauty Spa (they were able to book me for an hour later of my scheduled appointment with touchbeauty off groupon).
