Since 2011, her technique has NOT changed, which is awesome. She will go fast. For female Brazilians, she will use a strip wax, which to some people seem to be worse and painful than hard wax, but I am so used to strip waxes from her. Despite the fact she goes fast, it doesn't mean she skimps on details. I think I'm in and out in 15 at the most. It's a swimming ritual that I go to her and get my hair yanked out. A day ahead of your appointment, they will email you expectations including you will feel pain, which is understandable if you have not done Brazilian wax in awhile. Upon arrival, the place looks very professional, clean and organize. The lady, I think it was Pai, was really thorough and will tell you that it will hurt. However, I only felt little pain. I am so damn torn on this review. I've been seeing Jane for so many years, sure not always regularly, but since she first started taking women. None of her previous moves have presented any problems, but unfortunately now that isn't the case. I want to say first though, Jane is the absolute best, if you need to get waxed, you need to go see her. However, this review isn't about Jane and her abilities, nope, its about the person who books her appointments, Amanda. Amanda really sucks at her job, ever since she was hired to take on booking for Jane its been a pain to get anything scheduled. I'd also like to think, regardless of how many folks come in, she'd have a little more attention to detail. I say this because, I am pretty unforgettable, through text, email or in person, I am a giant bitch and it is hard to forget me. So the fact I have to deal with this is more than annoying to me. Yet somehow, Amanda seems to think I am some brand new client every single time I try and schedule a Brazilian. Of which is the only thing I have or will ever schedule. Anyways, I wont be going back anymore, I don't appreciate the run around when trying to get things done. I don't have time for that.
