Cozy atmosphere with decent food and drink selections but I was disappointed by the service here. Went here for dinner with some friends this weekend and it took forever to get drinks any time we ordered them. We were sitting at a high top right by the bar so we could see the delay was the only two bar tenders working were more interested in talking to their friends at the bar then pouring drinks. Asked our server for water twice it never came so my husband went to the bar to order the waters and was ignored for a good 10 mins to then have the bar tender tell him "we are running low on glasses so how many waters do you need" seriously!? After we finished eating we were going to get one more round but our sever brought the check with out us asking if we were ready, wanted dessert etc. Really disappointed in this place. read more

Opening week for this local restaurant and we were not disappointed! Our waitress was Brianna and she did a great job being attentive and handling multiple tables. Bourbon tips- delicious. Tender and flavorful. Mashed potatoes and green beans as sides. Others had the corned beef dinner and the fish and chips and said they were great. Large portions. Delicious fries! App was blue balls? Fried buffalo chicken filing with blue cheese dip. These were terrific - We left at 715 and there was quite a crowd at the door to get in. Look forward to returning. Food was good but we experienced some of the worst customer service ever in a restaurant. We will not be returning to this restaurant. Every time our server came to our table, he smelled of fresh cigarette smoke. Guests in our party were so thirsty from lack of beverages, they considered getting water from the car. What the world does not need right now is another sports bar. Although the name implies Irish pub, the vibe is standard suburban sports bar complete with an army of giant TVs for group television watching. The music is tired testosterone rock and the food is standard pub food. Not bad, nothing remarkable. The staff was courteous and attentive. To me, this already shows they are passionate about their business and care. A good start. My party was treated within a timely manner and were seated at a high-top near the bar. It was a Wednesday night, so we participated in Trivia hosted by The Wise Guys. Our drinks took about 7 minutes to arrive. Only those who ask for water receive water, so keep that in mind. We ordered the "Teddy's Bleu Balls" appetizer, that was delicious, but only came with 6 munchkin sized bites. If you come with an appetite and have a party of 4 or more, you may want to order 2 plates. The waitress seemed a little confused as to when to put in our entrée orders, and held off asking us until we were half way through our apps. She kept the beer flowing for my father, but never asked to refill my water that had been sitting empty since the apps. Ohh well, time to being out the Nalgene. The Rueben was a shaved corned beef sandwich. This sandwich made it worth the experience. The beet salad was also splendid. My table especially liked the candied walnuts on the salad. Yum! The server must have likes a cook in the back because she spent most of her time in the kitchen. It was a little frustrating having to call her every time she passed because she would never look at our table to see if we needed anything. This place is new and upcoming, there is so much hope! I can not comment on the food because I never got that far, but I can tell that the service is terrible. I grabbed a seat at the bar which happened to be directly in front of the dishwasher. One of the bartenders was busy unloading and reloading the dishwasher. I saw that she was in the middle of all of that so I was just waiting until she was finished. OK, I see that she is busy, but she totally ignored me the whole time. We were literally face to face separated by only the bar yet she would not even look up and acknowledge my presence. A simple I'll be right with you would have fine, but she continued to ignore me until she was good and ready. At which time she got me a beer and walked away never even asking if I would like to see a menu. I managed to catch the attention of the other bartender and request a menu. I perused the menu for a minute then set it down, now ready to place my food order. I sat there patiently waiting for some one to take it, but both bartenders were too busy yacking with customers on the other side of the bar. I finished my beer and sat there for approximately 10 minutes with an empty glass and menu sitting on the bar in front of me. I was never able to catch the eye of the one who brought me the beer but I was finally able to grab the one who brought me the menu. I asked her what I owed for the beer so that I could get out of there. I told her that I was hungry and wanted some dinner, but could see that it was not going to happen there anytime soon. I was so excited to finally have an Irish pup close to my house, but Teddy Gallagher's fell very short of my expectations. I have visited this restaurant three times (because I so desperately wanted it to be worthwhile) and each time something was wrong. The first time my fiancé and I were told we had to wait forty five minutes to get a table, but it had just opened and I really wanted to give it a try so I waited the full hour and a half to be seated (Double the time they told me at the door). When my fiancé and I had been seated we ordered the loaded Irish Nachos and two beers. There was no drink menu given to us so I asked how much for the beers and was quoted $3.25 a piece. So far everything was going really well. Our nachos arrived and it was a huge mound of food so we were happy that we could share and that we had seemed to get our moneys worth ($11.00 for an appetizer). After two beers, loaded Irish nachos, and a great skillet brownie that turned out to a lava cake, which was a nice surprise, we got our bill. The beers were not $3.25 each, they were $5.25 instead. That wasn't so bad and the place was busy so I chalked it up to scattered service and paid the bill. The second time my fiancé and I went we had to wait a while again. It was very busy so I figured business was good and decided to wait it out. We ended up waiting forty minutes over the wait time given to us at the door and could see several empty tables from where we were waiting. That was a bit aggravating but again I wanted to give this place a second chance and so we waited. Finally we were seated and we ordered our food. My fiancé got the pork bombs and I ordered the homemade mac and cheese. The pork was amazing and I found myself eating more of my fiancés dish than my own. The reason being that my mac and cheese was horrible. It did not taste homemade, in fact had I bought myself some boxed Kraft mac and cheese and made that it would have tasted better than the mac and cheese they brought out for me. The amount was also laughably small. I was disappointed but the pork was really good so I paid and left a bit unhappy. The third time I went was by far the worst time and It is the reason I will never come back to this restaurant. My fiancé and I arrived and there was plenty of tables open so we picked one of the high tops in the main dining area. I was still upset about the mac and cheese so instead I ordered the loaded Irish nachos because I really liked them the first time. Remembering that we had more than enough to share last time, my fiancé and I only ordered one to share. Even though the place was mostly empty it took thirty minutes for our nachos to come out. I was expecting the large amount that we had received when we first visited but instead we got maybe ten nachos total and a tiny sprinkling of cheese and sour cream. I was extremely upset. We ordered the skillet lava brownie hoping to make this trip at least a bit better and it took another thirty minutes for it to get out to us. When we started eating it we found that the brownie was no longer a lava cake and were very disappointed. The final nail in the coffin was when we were waiting for our check to come out the table across from us got served the loaded Irish nachos and they had the amount that my fiancé and I received the first day we came in. I was beyond irritated at this point and pledged that this was the last strike, I tired to give this place a chance and it failed to live up to even mediocre standards. I will not be returning to this restaurant ever. The service is slow even when there are no people, the food is inconsistent and over priced for the amount that you get, and the wait time is ridiculous for the quality of experience received. If you want to pay for over priced tiny portions that taste terrible continue to go to this restaurant. If you would like quality food and a good experience keep looking. read more

This place was horrible. We went as a group of 8 none of enjoyed it and food was terrible. I got the corned beef sandwich, and I actually feel ripped off! They charged 14.00 for the cheapest cut of meat that is full of fat. They give a small slice drowned in Thousand island dressing. By the time I cut off all the fat there wasn't enough meat for half of sandwich, and the dressing was dripping out of the bread. Yuck. None of really ate and when the waitress was picking up plates she saw all the fat on my plate and asked how I liked it. Very disappointed, the corned beef and cabbage, an Irish standard was served with French fries and what looked like cabbage with brown edges, assuming it was reheated in a frying pan. The Ruben was a joke, couldn't even get the bread right. Another couple sent a turkey club back saying they didn't know they were going to be served deli meat. Its an OK place to have few drinks with friends. Not the best service at the table. Ordered two kids items from the menu. The food on the table ended up with grown up portions. When asked the waitress, she responded back by saying, " hope its OK, i put in the adult portion for the kids". I did not want to argue the the point that one of the kids is 6 years old and he ended up with an adult portion that i got charged for. I had the burger, it was dry. The fish and chip was nice. Had to try the place but won't recommend unless you want to have some pub food and drinks. read more

Hi Everyone! Just wanted to let you all know about a phenomenal experience our family had at Teddy Gallagher's Irish Pub in Franklin, MA. We are ana to PN/TN and unbaked egg. As soon as we walked in we were able to speak with the owners. They were knowledgeable, exceptionally accomadating, and understanding of our challemges. It is the first time since our daughters diagnosis that my husband and I have felt completely comfortable in a restaurant setting. I've been to Teddy Gallagher's a number of times for both drinks and for dinner and I have had a great meal each time. It's right in downtown Franklin and with the new oversized parallel parking spaces it's a great spot to grab a bite and a drink. For an appetizer I like to start with the pork bombs. They are deep fried pork shanks that are coated in some sweet spices and then given a maple syrup drizzle. The chicken wings are also great. That have some herb spice rub on them but are deep fried and served with a spicy sauce that I would swim in. For dinner I usually go with the steak tips, but the Irish beef stew is also a big favorite of mine. The stew is made with Guinness and you can really taste it in every bite. The stew is served over some awesome mashed potatoes and is the perfect meal for a hungry person. If you are in the Franklin area i highly recommend stopping by Teddy Gallagher's for an awesome bite at a great new restaurant!! read more

Omg! I was waiting for John Taffer to walk in. Food was great and I look forward to my leftovers. Atmosphere was great! My husband and I thought we found a new 'go-to' restaurant. Boy were we wrong. We sat at the mostly empty bar on a Friday night. Got our first drink and menu rather quickly. After that, the service sucked. The two bartenders literally didn't look at us the rest of the time. It seemed like most of the people in the bar knew each other.. like they all work there. Older creepy men were hitting on younger girls at the bar. The bartenders were taking shots with them. Clearly their friends were there and they just completely ignored the rest of the patrons. So disappointing because we really wanted to like it! read more

We held a company Christmas party at Teddy Gallagher's and it couldn't have been better!! Normally they only do functions on Mondays but they were very lenient and reliable to help us out on the day we needed they made it happen! Satisfying customers needs and helping out people is the name of the game! We had roughly 40 to 50 people and they allowed us to use the bar area and high-tops. They set up a buffet style food which was delicious!The staff was very accommodating to our needs and I would highly recommend holding a company event with this establishment. Had a good time at Teddy Gallaghers. Nice new Irish Pub atmosphere. But the food was sub par, the fish and chips were just ok and the Rueben sandwich was the worst I've ever had. I actually had to lift up the slice of rye bread to see if anything was between them. One slice of fatty cornedbeef. The wait staff was great but hostess was a little young to handle that job even though she was very pleasant. Will give them one more shot. Entertainment was great. read more
