3 stars, food was ok, garlic redskin mashed potatoes and teddy's famous grilled cheese. Service is extremely slow. We were the only table in the place and the server took 30 minutes after telling us she'd get the check.. long smoke breaks apparently

Flew into Fargo and wanted to grab lunch before continuing on our travels. Teddy's was convenient, service was great, and the food was delicious. We got the grilled cheese and the Chicken Bacon Badlands and split them. Both were super yummy and the soup dipper was a great addition!

Delicious beer soup and prime rib wrap!

Tasty little bistro tucked into a cozy spot in Broadway. Great staff, great food and drinks. Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful place with great ambience. The bar stools are uncomfortable. The prices went up $2-3 per menu item since we were here last month. I don't think the quality of the food warrants the price.

Very overpriced, bland food. Place was almost completely empty when we were there. Go somewhere else!

The Drawing Room does the modern-elegant-with-a-speakeasy-wink thing just right--subtle entrance, clean lines, good energy without trying too hard. Cocktails are the main event and they deliver. Balanced, thoughtful, no weak links on the list. You can tell the bartenders actually care about what's in the glass. Only note: dial the lights down another notch or two. It's already intimate, but a little more low-lit mood would push that speakeasy feeling over the top. Otherwise? Easy yes. Chill spot, strong drinks, zero pretension.

There were signs on the entrance and on the directory to tell you which floor things were on, but that was it. You go to the basement and it was kind of fun to find the door to go in (it's not that hard, you can hear people). The place is so fun. It's decorated very dark, moody mid century. We sat ourselves at the bar as most other tables were full. The bartender who took care of us for the night was named Mason and he was excellent! So friendly, welcoming and eager to talk wine with us. The menu had a ton of specialty cocktails but their wine selection was too good not to try. We nerded out for a bit and he got us generous pours of what we ordered. We only got drinks but I'd return for the bites when in town next. Great spot!

Unfortunately, even though we were the only people dining in the restaurant, it took almost 30 minutes for our food to arrive. By that point, we were very hungry! We ordered two salads and a sandwich, so the wait felt especially long. The salads were just okay and on the smaller side for the price. My salad was $14, and my husband had the Cobb salad with grilled chicken for $20. My son ordered the club sandwich, which was really good, and the fries were excellent--although the portion was quite small. Overall, Rosewild has a beautiful atmosphere and friendly service, but the long wait and small portions made it a 3.5/5 experience for us. There were definitely some highlights, especially the club sandwich and fries, but we expected a little more for the price. Great location right downtown with street parking available.

If you are from the Cities, they are owned by the same people as the Hewing, so expect a similar level of service. I liked my old fashioned a lot, it was well made. They have a great bourbon selection, including a lot of Old Forester (which is, of course, the best bourbon). The staff was friendly and I had a nice chat. My one suggestion to the restaurant would be to mark DF (dairy free) on the menu, a lot of us can't have dairy!

This is the only karaoke place I know of in the area, and there are many, where karaoke starts at the reasonable hour of 8 PM. I wanted to meet Harold, but he was probably getting so much needed shut eye, perhaps 6 feet under; may his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God rest in peace. Anyway, back to life above ground , there were some singers whom I'm sure had many other gifts, and some singers with exceptional voices. The karaoke jockey, KJ, was friendly and did a good job encouraging applause and a good vibe. There were several notable duets by female female and male female, as well as many solos. This writer may have been the second oldest person in the bar, so he felt a wee bit out of place, but the waitress made him feel welcome as did a very friendly young man named Roman and his friend - - she had a beautiful single-syllable name but my memory is failing. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, inviting, and genuinely welcoming -- the kind of place where you instantly know you're about to have a great experience. The duck was incredible -- rich, balanced, and executed with precision. Every bite felt intentional. And the service? Just as impressive. Attentive, friendly, and natural -- not forced, not rushed -- just real hospitality that made the whole experience even better. It's been a long time since I've had food this memorable.
