Becareful I got scammed pay here sessions in full kept making me show up and not following through on his word. Sessions felt like my pe class in middle school. No shower,no equipment,no changing rooms. He even asked me for more money, when we did not get anything done. Use your money on gyms that have invested in equipment,infrastructure and carry integrity. Back smells foul,urine and musty. He tried to get me to come again for money even though we did not reach our goals. Gameplan was to learn weight lifting only and not workout hard. I've known about Teddy's Total Body Personal Training for a while. I follow him on Instagram. My oldest son has been trying to convince me to get started working out again. I had failed back surgery 9 years ago and have been in so much pain and so unmotivated. Finally, a couple months ago, I gave Teddy's place a try. Thank goodness I did. I'm so happy to get back on the workout wagon again after so many years. I know it's gonna take time and dedication and Teddy's is the place to help me along. I wear a permanent prosthetic leg brace and it's hard doing certain things, but Teddy works with me and changes up certain exercises so it works for me. Just when I'm getting tired and think I can't do another rep, he encourages me and motivates me to keep going. Meeting Teddy has been life changing! I found his ad on Craigslist in 12/2024 and didn't call until 3/2025. I'm so glad I finally called. From our very first conversation I was met with his sense of humor, compassion and humanity. He listened and gave me guidance on the next best steps to heal my body after some intense injuries which lead to years of stagnation and a sedentary lifestyle. My first session was 3/27/2025 and my life is radically different in the best way possible! In just a short amount of time, my strength, confidence and the healing of my body has been miraculous. It takes determination and devotion to want to change and working with Teddy has made that easier for me to make the changes I desperately needed to make. Just in the last few months, we've developed a great friendship! And we share resources with each other because we both want each other to win. I work out with him early in the morning, and every time I arrive, I am always greeted with a giant smile and "Welcome In!" by his wife Erica, and it just always warms my heart. Ive been working out and getting trained with Teddy for about 2 months now and I definitely feel lighter. I may not see result as drastic as i imagined but I do feel better in my own body. Super unprofessional! I was really excited to sign up with a trainer because I have never had one before but I definitely will not be trying again after the experience I had with Teddy. I met with him and told him my goals and timeline (was hoping to lose some weight before a wedding I'm attending at the end of next month). He charged me in full for 8 sessions the day we met via venmo so that he won't get taxed and scheduled me in for four days a week for the next two weeks. Our first session came around and I waited at the facility for 40mins (sessions are 50min long) and he never showed. He explained to me later that his car got stolen that morning and I was completely understanding even though he didn't let me know until well after the session would have been over. Then he proceeded to tell me that I wouldn't see him until the next week (even though we had three other sessions scheduled that week) because he was going on vacation. SUPER confused as to why he would schedule me for three sessions during the time that he would be out of town. Since my timeline was short as is, I was frustrated that he wasted a week of my time. After all of this I just did not want to deal with him anymore so I asked for a refund for my money. Although his contract stated that there were no cash refunds, I paid through venmo which could have easily been given back, especially given the fact that the fault lied with him. We went back and forth for a while and he has yet to give me my money back so I am now out $300 for no sessions at all due to him cancelling on me. I would understand why he'd refuse to refund me my money if I cancelled on him. But again, our first session was cancelled by him and he failed to tell me he was going to be out of town for the remaining three sessions we had scheduled that week. Definitely do not recommend!! Very unreliable and non communicative and wasted my money on absolutely nothing. read more

Joined this gym for their 16 week challenge. I am a person who like group exercise, it help to motivate me. All of the trainers are knowledgeable and very kind. AMAZING! I recently had to relearn how to walk and use my right side again. There is nobody I would trust more than Teddy to get me back to where I was as well as stronger. Even on the days when I cried with frustration with myself, Teddy was supportive and pushed me to keep going and spoke nothing but positivity to me. I have limited mobility as I am retraining my brain and body, but Teddy makes sure to tailor to who I am as a person so that I am able to build myself back. I have worked out w/Teddy on & off for about 8 years now (as my health has allowed.) I am thankful for the days I get to Workout. But what I am most thankful for is the work Teddy has put in w/my son. My son started going w/me almost 3 years ago at age 13. The confidence he gained in just 3 months could bring a mom to tears. Im guilty of trainer hopping. I've done many boot camps, group training, personal training, but never stayed. I've been with Teddy for about 4 months and planning to stay much longer. I love how he changes his workouts and pushes the intensity. Teddy is also super enthusiastic and never have I felt guilty for telling him my not so healthy food habits.
