Our First visit experience.. Best burger place I've been to in a while !!!! GREAT Service! GREAT food! If you weren't looking for it you might pass it. It's a nice small burger joint with indoor and outdoor patio seating! My boyfriend and I sat out on the patio they brought our drinks and food out to us and they would come ask if we needed anything (refills, ketchup, chili peppers, etc). The lady that helped us spoke so very kindly , she made us feel like we were locals coming for years:) overall fantastic feel! Definitely would recommend as a nice, cozy burger joint! I just can't complain about the people who work here. Rosie is the best. She runs a well oiled machine (meaning her staff) she knows my regular order even if I haven't been there in months. Went there today after reading the reviews of others and I gotta say...You guys were right.! I ordered the Double cheese burger combo and it was hands down the best burger I've had in a while. I went through the drive-thru so I didn't check out the inside. Maybe the next time I go...oh yes, there will be a next time. YUM. Breakfast burritos! I came to Ted's on a mission for breakfast burritos for my office (Friday's we buy breakfast treats for everyone). I looked up breakfast burritos on Yelp, and found this listing. It was a total hit. It gets to be a little bit expensive (especially compared to getting donuts or bagels for the office) BUT I get them every once and a while, and everyone in the office is so happy. The only thing that is mixed reviews in the office is the "hot sauce" that comes in the burrito: it is a bit sweet, kind of ketchup-y, not hot, and some order without the sauce. That has been the only complaint! Confession: now I am addicted to Ted's breakfast burritos, I get one for lunch once a week. I love places that serve breakfast all day! And the ladies who work there call me "sweetie" and are so nice and happy to see me. I get the full breakfast burrito (with bacon and sausage) and I swap out the hash browns for refried beans. read more

I have driven by this place for years and finally decided to try it. I ordered 7 breakfast burritos for people at work. At $32, it was more expensive than any of the other fast food cheaper options but I thought I would go for it because I thought it would be worth it. Well, it wasn't. They were pretty large burritos filled with 98% hash browns! Someone asked me if I ordered hash brown burritos. You could barely see a bit of egg and nothing else was inside. Not the tastiest and definitely not worth more than $4 each. Lesson learned. read more

My coworker bought me their sausage and egg breakfast burrito and it was soo good! Whenever we're hungry at work we go and get their breakfast burrito in the morning. Like the last review, the best thing about this place is the customer service. I've only been here a few times, all for breakfast and each and every time I'm served promptly and greeted and checked on with a real genuine care from the owner. She's awesome, such a sweetie. Nothing really out of the world about the taste but everything I've eaten: sausage, steak breakfast combos and zucchini fries were all very tasty at about the price you'd expect from a ma and pop joint like this. I used to go along time ago and it was good' well i got a cheeseburger and fries about like 4 yrs ago .. hah but this time omg ; Gross. This place has the friendliest customer service EVER!!! I got a breakfast burrito and a coffee. The lovely ladies take everything to your table. About every 10 minutes they come around to refill your coffee which is great. They brought my burrito also. It was huge!! About a pound or so. It was really good. It had bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, cheese, sausage, and salsa. It was mostly regulars as they call them each by their name and since it was my first time they always said sweety which was nice :) lol. The best customer service to me is during the day time! There is a lady there and I don't recall her name but she was there both times I visited early day. She made me feel so special and that she knew me! One of the best burger spots I have tasted! And I'm 40 years old almost! It was amazing!When I went later on another day, the lady who helped me wasn't so friendly. She was more involved with the guy who was behind me ordering. Laughing and smiling with her co worker as I sat at the window and tried to get their attention because I had a question. I returned because of her! I came here this morning for breakfast with my daughter and wife. We were enjoying our meal, until I looked down. What I saw made me lose my apetite...TWO FREAKIN ROACHES...my family and I just got up and left. Hearing the short bleached hair lady made me even more mad, how could they not do anything about it! Based on all the great reviews I was expecting some pretty good food and was disappointed. The twisty fries were good but my grilled chicken sandwich was bland with too much bun for the amount of chicken. (I threw away about a quarter of the bun because there was nothing left inside!). My son got the turkey melt on rye- the turkey was good but the cheese was not (he thought it tasted like Velveeta:( and it was a very thin- not much inside. For $16 I was very disappointed. Hidden gem. Teds is a burger type place mostly. They are a bit old school though in service and quality. I have been to this restaurant many times now since my first visit about a year ago. They standout comparing to others places in the area - service is top tier. I am always greeted and treated as a valued customer every time. My order has always been right and even when there are a lot of customers the food arrives prompt and hot and fresh. The place is clean as well I have yet to sit at a table that was not clean. The bathroom is also maintained and clean consistently. Older dated interior but well cared for a sense of pride shows. The staff is helpful and always if your eating there is at least one person asking if everything is all right or do you want more coffee , etc. The line is long at the counter at times but it moves along fast. Great coffee and the specials are pretty good too. I like the old school look and feel of the eating area. Lots of seating and comfortable for groups as well. Lots of easy access parking. I am glad to offer 5 stars and glad to be a customer at Teds. read more

Four stars, Yelpers? Really? This place is just a typical burger place, nothing special about it at all. Completely standard tasting burger, almost all bun and that shredded lettuce that falls out all over the place when you eat it. Mushy, bland fries. And Pepsi, not even Coke. Drove across town because I was craving a good burger and I must say, my inner fat kid is very disappointed. I don't get what the rating is about...maybe the Mexican food there is better? I'm only giving three stars for the service, which was over the top for a fast food place. Don't listen to other reviewers here: as a seasoned expert in chili cheese fries, I can say that these are definitively subpar. There is very little meat in the chili, so what you get is a beany tasting slop with some token meat chunks that just winds up making your fries soggy. The burger was exceedingly average, if a little heavy on the thousand islands. Overall, I could have been fine without the extra calories of this meal. They are definitely nice here, though. Unexpectedly in Carson for a couple of hours, we decided to try this place. I was glad that we made a good choice! The menu offers standard burger joint fare, the people were nice, and the food was good! The pastrami was tasty and not too greasy, the kid said his burger was good, and the fries were hot, crisp and well-seasoned. There's just something about a local breakfast joint that makes you feel like your home. Ted's is one of those places. The moment I walk in I'm greeted by one of the perkiest Latina behind the counter whom reminds me so much of my own mother (granted I'm Filipino). She ends every sentence with "baby" it makes me smile everytime. She also makes suggestions when I look like I'm not sure of what to get. I always go for some type of omelette, usually the Ted's omelette. Now I don't know who this Ted is, I've never met him but he is an omelette genius. Eggs we're perfectly cooked and it's a meat lovers paradise. UT also comes with toast and hasbrowns, and for less than 8 bucks you can't beat that! read more
