Huge bonus they allow you to customize some of their burgers. It can get packed sometimes around lunch hour, so you can definitely phone your order in ahead of time. The chili chese fries were soggy, the hamburger patty was like a flat over cook then pancake. The zucchini where soggy and they changed their thick buttermilk ranch to a watery no flavor ranch dressing. The last time I orders pastrami sandwich and it was gross. The bread was soaked with oily juices and pastrami was dried out and tasted old. Best Club Sandwich anywhere: unexpected star of the show: smokey grilled ham, plus the usual cast of turkey, crisp bacon, tomato, mayo, your choice of bread. Comes with crispy fries and ( when I was there ) a drink too ( Orange Bang was a good choice.) Burgers are good and tasty of course, but still fast food style ( shredded lettuce ) ask for "sliced" onion if you don't want those shredded. The "Junior" burgers are big enough to satisfy, especially w/ additions like chili ( no charge ) or avocado. Pancakes are really good, but served only until 10:30 ( too bad for us late breakfasters ) Soups ( like Albondigas ) have been very good ( and very large ) though not listed on their menu - just ask. Fries are great when well done / crispy -- Fried Zucchini is a real good choice, too. Salads look great, and very generous. Their Fish Sandwich served on whole wheat toast with tomato, tartar sauce and fresh leaf-lettuce is very good indeed: almost too hot to bite into and still nice and crunchy ( thick filet of cod ) when you finish and order another one ! The food at this place is pretty good and the customer service is actually usually pretty friendly as well. What I don't really like is the parking lot and how difficult it can be to find a spot and even how difficult it can be just to get in the parking lot if you're turning in from PCH.
