The chili chese fries were soggy, the hamburger patty was like a flat over cook then pancake. The zucchini where soggy and they changed their thick buttermilk ranch to a watery no flavor ranch dressing. The last time I orders pastrami sandwich and it was gross. The bread was soaked with oily juices and pastrami was dried out and tasted old. For the prices they charge quality should be better but it seems they are cutting corners and going on the cheap less quality to boost profit. I'm done with Bobs Burgers. When she started eating her burger she reported tasting gas and mentioned it was so strong she only took two bites and tossed it. Most meals do come with a drink and they're well priced. I would suggest you tell them to cook the fries well done in order to get them cooked like they should. Best Club Sandwich anywhere: unexpected star of the show: smokey grilled ham, plus the usual cast of turkey, crisp bacon, tomato, mayo, your choice of bread. Comes with crispy fries and ( when I was there ) a drink too ( Orange Bang was a good choice.) Burgers are good and tasty of course, but still fast food style ( shredded lettuce ) ask for "sliced" onion if you don't want those shredded. The "Junior" burgers are big enough to satisfy, especially w/ additions like chili ( no charge ) or avocado. Pancakes are really good, but served only until 10:30 ( too bad for us late breakfasters ) Soups ( like Albondigas ) have been very good ( and very large ) though not listed on their menu - just ask. Fries are great when well done / crispy -- Fried Zucchini is a real good choice, too. Salads look great, and very generous. Their Fish Sandwich served on whole wheat toast with tomato, tartar sauce and fresh leaf-lettuce is very good indeed: almost too hot to bite into and still nice and crunchy ( thick filet of cod ) when you finish and order another one ! What I don't really like is the parking lot and how difficult it can be to find a spot and even how difficult it can be just to get in the parking lot if you're turning in from PCH. This place isn't what it used to be. Started going down hill and keeps going down hill. I ordered a 2 Jr burgers no tomato and extra lettuce. They added a tomato and didn't put extra lettuce they actually put less lettuce. My wife ordered a hamburger no spread. And guess what they put extra spread. Also ordered an order of fries and the fries are no longer as good as they used to be. Very hard. And I know it's not the person in front taking the order because she did repeat the order and got it right. In past experiences within the last couple of months they always got my order wrong. Wanted to give them a few more chances but nope I guess the cook doesn't care anymore. Also, Do not order the curly fries unless you like them like chips. It's really sad because this used to be my go to place. The spread is way more watery than it used to be and just makes the burger very very soggy. read more
