1-Star Review We…read morepurchased a 2025 Forest River Cherokee Timberwolf 39NA in August 2025, and unfortunately our experience has been very disappointing. Problems began the day we picked up the RV. The kitchen thermostat failed at the dealership. We were asked to go to lunch while it was addressed, and when we returned the RV had already been closed up and prepared for transport, so we never received a complete final walkthrough. During a later service call, the technician discovered that the bedroom thermostat had never been connected at all. We also discovered that the bathtub was never caulked, the black tank flush system was improperly installed, and the flush hose had been pressed against the outer wall. We have never been able to properly flush the black tank, and attempting to use the system could cause water to flood into the RV. Both toilets developed an improper seal. The dealer replaced the first toilet, but we are now having the same issue with the second toilet and replacement is not being approved. The factory mattress also began failing within approximately two weeks of use, yet Forest River has not been willing to stand behind the mattress in a meaningful way. We have dealt with additional problems involving the couch support, garbage-can cabinet, ceiling adhesive/overspray, floor damage, window components, bedroom shelf support, roof caulking, and other warranty items. We have spent months documenting these issues with photographs, emails, service calls, and follow-up. We purchased a new RV expecting Forest River to stand behind its workmanship and warranty. Based on our experience, I would strongly encourage prospective buyers to thoroughly inspect their RV, photograph everything, keep every work order and email, and get all warranty decisions in writing. If Forest River properly resolves the remaining issues, I will update this review.

Buyers BEWARE! If you are buying from them look over the camper/rv with a FINE toothed comb. I…read morebought a camper trailer got several of their "extra extended warranties" Headed out of town for my first trip with my new to me camper only to have the roof membrane trying to fly off going down the road. I called and let them know, they said oh no the extended warrantee doesn't cover that, it only covers small holes, pin holes etc- Would have been nice to know when the guy was explaining it to us he made it sound like anything and everything no matter what happened it would be covered for a replacement! So camping world said you have to turn that into your own insurance company, so I did. They come back and said there were prior claims on the roof of my camper so I'm basically SOL. So my repairs will have to be out of pocket. No wonder why my salesman was so pushy at getting this deal done! It didn't have a ladder on it so I couldn't get up to see the roof. The service department was nice and trying to get me a better deal to get the roof replaced since I had to go thru this BS in the first place. But still out around $6000 for a camper I just bought and didn't even go out on one trip with it yet! I suggest anyone thinking of buying anything from them to look it over, look it over and look it over again!!! They will not disclose ANYTHING!!!!!
