He is all nice in consultation, but as soon as full payments are made he goes scarce. On wedding day he doesn't show up at all but sends some random staff we haven't met at all. Our Ceremony started at 1 PM and the staff were in a hurry going home at 3 PM while we had booked till 5 PM. They kept insisting they have another booking to go to, while Raja assured this would be his only booking for the day. Even 2 Months after the wedding and we were still waiting for our pictures. He just kept ignoring our emails, calls and texts. Finally when he picks up the call he argues with arrogance like we are asking him a favor. He falsely claims that he has already sent all the pictures, while he didn't send any. After a lot of struggle when we got hold of videos, we were extremely disappointed with the horrible quality of videos. We sent over several songs to be included in our highlights and wedding videos. None of the songs were added in videos. No efforts were put in shooting videos. We could have better off just putting a camera on Tripod and it would have been captured much better. They didn't even bother to give a mic to the Priest for wedding audio. I believe these all were outsourced and he didn't even bother to glance over before sending it over.   Key moments were missing from the wedding pictures. He didn't even bother to convert key moments like pictures with family. You would be better off handing over a camera to one of your wedding guests than hiring Raja.  I would have given it a 0 Star if I could.

It was a huge relief during our big day knowing we had a team that knew exactly what they were doing and guiding us along the way. Max is a legit photographer and knows his craft. The portfolio of photos and video on his site and here are pretty representative of what you'll get. My wife wanted a specific bright and cool look to the photos and he nailed the style perfectly. He even pulled us aside later during the day where there's a short 30 minute window or so to capture shots when the light hits you just right. A lot of the shots during that session ended up being some of the best shots in our collection. We opted for the package with his team, who were also great. We figured this helps free up Max to capture our big moments while his crew could capture alternate angles, details and B-roll footage. All of this contributes to elevating your highlight video, which turned out amazing. Overall, would definitely recommend and a big thumbs up for Max. I knew is was the one for us! Max showed up for our rehearsal on time and met our wedding party and family and it felt so great to have us all working together. Photos at every angle and different lighting, and he stayed way past the scheduled time just to make sure he got the best possible photos for my husband and I. We are very happy with our choice. The only thing I wish we had done differently, was give Max a list of specifically who to have one on one photos with. My husband and I are both a little passive, especially on a distracting day like our wedding day and did not speak up about getting more individual photos. Our fault for not giving him a list! They have a very extensive portfolio on their website, which I loved as it really gave me a sense of the style of filming and editing they do. Once I sent an inquiry, Christina was very responsive and informative. She was also great with communicating with us and our other vendors the few weeks leading up to the wedding, making sure her team's equipment would work with our DJ's audio setup. On wedding day, Christina was absolutely lovely to work with. As someone with no experience being on camera, I loved that she gave tips on suggested movements to make that appeared really natural and beautifully on camera. She made us feel at ease with all the advice. Christina's ability to speak Chinese was a great bonus - it made coordinating with our Chinese-speaking family members much easier and kept everyone on the same page. Long overdue on a long review (our wedding was in June haha), but wanted to share about our…read moreexperience with Pure Devotion. The team, Eric and Connie, is great - they're super sweet and passionate people. They offer a broad selection of services for you to mix and match depending on your needs, so if you are an overwhelmed couple like we were, then this is perfect for you :) We used them for videography, flowers and props, lighting, and photobooth. Videography: Eric handles all the videography and photography, and he's very knowledgeable about his craft. We were a little on the fence when we first started looking for a videographer (we didn't know if we could justify spending thousands of dollars for a short video), but Eric was very no pressure and just happily showed us samples of his work. He patiently made sure he understood what we were looking for, we ended up going with the "cinematic" style 4K highlight video (~3 minutes long). On the wedding day he showed up with 3 assistants and a drone to capture all the footage. It took roughly 3 months to get the video link and he mails a USB with the remaining raw footage. He went the extra mile and helped us edit the raw footage as well so that it was watchable and not a jumble of clips. Flowers: Connie did an amazing job with the flowers. I just sent her pictures of what I wanted, we discussed which flowers were important to have, and she delivered beautiful bouquets, aisle pedestals, guest table decor, and the dining centerpieces. I actually wanted taller centerpiece vases than what she had in inventory and she went out and got some! Flowers looked fresh and great through the night. We also had her help us with draping background for our garden setting. She went out to the site to make sure the draping would work and checked in with me before making adjustments day of. She kindly stayed through the ceremony to help move the flowers to the reception area afterwards. She has a ton of props in the studio, so don't forget to ask her what you want to rent! Lighting: We rented uplights to put up around the room. They also have pin lights and other fancy lights. The uplights were technically fine but I think we had missed communication on the color, so check beforehand :( Photobooth: Unfortunately can't recommend this service. Supposed to be backdrop with props manned by an attendant that prints out the photos. Camera ended up being unattended, photos mostly blurry/out of focus. Thank you, team! Couldn't have done it without you!

Many months before the wedding, I searched for videographers and wedding video packages that suited our taste, where we wanted candid, yet dreamy/fairytale shots of our day, along with videos of our ceremonies (tea ceremony & Western ceremony), all while being within a certain budget. After sending in quotes and meeting with some videographers, it was a challenge to find the one that really matched what we needed. Luckily, I got in touch with Tri Luu Films through one of the wedding sites that recommended him, and saw some of his work on Vimeo, including a wedding short that was at the venue we were getting married at. Tri was such a pleasure to work with from the get-go. He met with us to talk about our ideal style and "must captures," and knowing that he was familiar with our venue in San Jose as well as having experience with capturing tea ceremonies is really what sold us. They were even onboard when I mentioned that I would be surprising the bride with a musical performance during the reception, and were able to capture that. On the day of, Tri Luu and his team were fantastic - incredibly professional, kind, and understanding of timeline shifts. Something I really appreciated was that they know when it's appropriate to step-in and give advice on good video shots versus when to be more in the background and let the photographers do their thing. Our wedding video package included a trailer, wedding short, and a documentary. The trailer was great and made me hyped to see the rest of the filming, and it also got to us less than three weeks from the wedding! The wedding short film I liked because it included some short lines from vows, speeches, dances, and ceremonies and various snippets from the wedding. The documentary, though, was definitely what I was waiting for - over an hour of great footage, edited chronologically for us to relive the best day of my life. I could tell it was done with great care because everything flowed well, there were transitions showing off the venue where the next part of the wedding was at, and the background music was perfect. Couldn't be more impressed with Tri Luu Films, and I wholeheartedly recommend Tri to anyone needing a wedding videographer!

I didn't want to drop…read morea ton of money on a short music video as a lot of other companies advertise because I preferred something less "cinematic"/was looking for more of a "documentary/authentic style" of the highlights and ceremony. Graham (Final Frame) was the perfect fit! He is very professional and readily available for any questions, etc. He has a quicker turnaround for the video which is a bonus, and I really liked that his presence was very subtle (doesn't feel like you're on a movie set with a ton of bulky equipment). He edited a wonderful video (documentary edit), and I feel like I really get to relive the wedding day, and I love that I get to re-watch all the speeches/special moments of us with our friends and family. One of my favorite parts is that he will interview the guests (optional) and you get to hear and see family/friends video messages. It was awesome and really special. I'd highly recommend Graham! Graham is very responsive and easy to work with. The day of our June 2021 wedding, Graham showed up on time and got right to work. You hardly even know he's there, which is exactly what we wanted from a videographer. He films "documentary style" and gets all the parts of the day that are such a blur to the bride and groom. My favorite thing about his style is the interviews he does with the bride and groom separately and the interviews he does with guests. It's such a nice touch that makes watching the video even more special. Graham is so affordable given the INCREDIBLE work that he does.
