Arrkann Trailer & RV Centre - Tire Damage to 4 rear they were going to let us drive away with. I noticed it when we went out into daylight just before leaving dealership.

We purchased a CanaDream Inc used motorhome from Eva Moser (Internet Sales Manager) and Brock Simmons (General Sales Manager) in May 2024 after being assured it was "like brand new," fully inspected, and in excellent condition. These statements were blatantly untrue. Brock even refused to supply items promised at the time of sale until we escalated the issue to head office. After driving 800 km to pick up the unit, we immediately discovered multiple issues--followed by more within 24 hours: a torn mattress, missing parts, cracked tires, electrical failures, a leaking hot water tank, and a large stain above the driver's seat that staff dismissed as "soap residue." This stain was later proven to be long-term, undisclosed water damage that ArrKann RV should have known about and that CanaDream Inc., the real owner at the time, had previously documented. None of this was disclosed by ArrKann RV during the sale. We then spent months caught between ArrKann Trailer & Sport Center in Edmonton and CanaDream inc in Delta, BC. We were forced to make 860 km trips for each repair at our own expense, only to face delays, poor workmanship, and incomplete repairs. While the motorhome sat unusable, water began leaking into the front cab--the exact area we questioned on pickup and were told it was soap residue from the detailing guys and that it had "no leaks or previous damage" stated by Eva Moser and Riley, the technician. Later records confirmed prior roof work in all the same locations. ICBC then informed us the motorhome could not be registered because it was still legally registered to CanaDream Inc. ArrKann RV sold us a vehicle they hadn't properly transferred. Repairs done by CanaDream Inc were not industry standard, and we were denied any documentation of the repairs performed. We were told everything was between Jason Granger (CanaDreamn Inc Sales Manager) and Chris Caldwell (VP Customer Experience & Marketing, ArrKann RV). We received no receipts, no repair details, and no transparency. ArrKann RV then Chris Caldwell asked us to sign a release waiving all future claims. We refused. Their urgency to obtain our signature was as telling as alarming. In early 2025, when attempting to trade the motorhome in, the receiving dealer uncovered major structural roof damage, hidden repair work, and long-term water intrusion that both ArrKann RV and CanaDream Inc failed to disclose, even though they were in possession of inspection reports that stated otherwise. This resulted in losses exceeding $30,000 to us personally. When we approached Chris Caldwell to discuss compensation or talk accountability, we were denied. We were told the unit was used and had "no warranty," despite months of misrepresentation, false assurances, and repeated promises that the situation would be made right. If you are considering buying from ArrKann Trailer & Sport Center or CanaDream Inc, proceed with extreme caution. Our experience has been financially devastating, stressful, and deeply disappointing. It appears that used RVs sourced from CanaDream Inc are being flipped quickly with minimal inspection and no transparency. Many promises--no follow-through. We trusted the "family-owned, award-winning" image they promote. Unfortunately, our experience suggests otherwise. Their heavy advertising on repairs and winterizing now feels like the old tale of a fox guarding the henhouse.

In fact, Brock Simmons refused to provide items promised at the time of sale until we escalated the issue to their head office. After driving 800 km to pick up the unit, we immediately found multiple problems -- and even more surfaced within the first 24 hours of taking possession. These included a torn mattress, missing parts, cracked tires, electrical failures, a leaking hot water tank, Tv that did not work, backup camera that would come on and off even though there was no key in vehicle and a large stain above the driver's seat that staff dismissed as "soap residue." This stain was later proven to be long-term, undisclosed water damage -- damage that ArrKann Trailer & RV Center Rocky View should have known about, and that CanaDream Inc., the actual owner at the time, had already documented. None of this was disclosed during the sale. While we were filling the water tank prior to leaving the lot, when we saw the rear tires in the light of day. They were cracked all around the tire side walls and deep into the tread of the tires, initial response was how did those get missed by our inspection and also by CanaDream Inc. as they are an Alberta licensed Government inspection facilities. We have the records of that inspection with the inspectors name and license number. showing all the tires were good? So either the licensed facility is lying on inspections or someone changed out good tires for bad ones between CanaDream Inc and ArrKAnn Rv in Calgary? We were never given an answer just a story and reluctance to replace them! What followed was months of runaround between ArrKann Trailer & Sport Center in Edmonton and CanaDream Inc. in Delta, BC. We were forced to make repeated 860 km trips for repairs at our own expense, only to have those repairs delayed, mishandled, or ignored. While the motorhome sat unusable for months, water began leaking into the front cab -- the exact area we flagged on day one and were falsely told by Eva Moser and Riley, the technician who handled our walkthrough, that the unit had "no leaks or previous damage." Later documentation provided by Chris Caldwell of ArrKann RV, confirmed prior roof problems and roof work in all the same locations where the damage appeared. To make things worse, ICBC couldn't even transfer the registration because the motorhome was still registered to CanaDream Inc., not ArrKann. They sold us a vehicle they had not properly transferred or legally registered. The repairs eventually completed by CanaDream were not up to industry standard, and none were documented. We were denied any copies of repair records, as CanaDream and ArrKann claimed everything was an internal agreement between Jason Granger (Sales Manager, CanaDream Inc.) and Chris Caldwell (VP Customer Experience & Marketing, ArrKann Trailer & Sport Center). We were then asked to sign a release waiving any future claims on the unit. We refused -- their urgency to secure our signature said everything. In early 2025, when we attempted to trade the motorhome in, the receiving dealer uncovered major structural roof damage, hidden repairs, and long-term water intrusion that both ArrKann and CanaDream failed to disclose. As a direct result, we suffered losses exceeding $30,000. When we approached Chris Caldwell for compensation or accountability, we were refused. We were told the RV was used and had "no warranty," despite months of false assurances, misrepresentation, and repeated promises that ArrKann would "make it right." If you are considering buying from ArrKann Trailer & Sport Center, proceed with extreme caution. Our experience has been financially devastating, stressful, and deeply disappointing. It appears that used RVs sourced from CanaDream are being flipped quickly with minimal inspection, poor transparency, and broken promises. We trusted their claim of being a "family-owned, award-winning RV dealership." Unfortunately, our experience suggests otherwise. Their advertising around repairs and winterizing now feels like the old story of a fox guarding the henhouse. We are now pursuing legal options to recover some of our losses.

Western R V Country - Dealer pre delivery indicating tires less than 5 years old

Hey folks, just wanted to let you know that this dealer lies to you and give you 30 days to find…read morethe lies, as well as putting yours and others lives at risk on our highways, in the name of profit. Short story, just so you can be aware; my daughter bought an rv from these folks five years ago in 2019, and has had no issues with it. When she bought it she was told it had new tires on it, and like the majority of people, has no idea how to check this, other than look at them and say, yes they look good. Although it was a verbal conversation, he said/she said, there was written confirmation from this dealer that the tires were less than 5 years old. 5 years for those of you that don't know is the oft recommended date by which tire manufacturer's recommend you should be thinking seriously about replacing your tires; over 7 years on an RV and your starting to gamble with yours and other highway users safety. In any event, I was out to visit my daughter this past weekend, and knowing that she'd purchased the vehicle with "new" tires in 2019, I thought I'd give them a quick check for any obvious signs of cracking/checking, which is always one of the indicators of time to replace. I can say that I was absolutely horrified to learn that she'd just pulled her trailer up to a park site along Highway 2 with tires that were 14 years and 2 months old!! These tires were already 9 years and 2 months from manufacture date when she purchased the RV from Western RV Country, with a written confirmation that they were less than 5 years old. I don't know about you other RV'ers out there, but in my book that is fraud, and a flagrant disregard for customers and other highway users safety! I thought okay, I'll take some pictures, and the documents, and go and see the dealer about it and give them an opportunity to acknowledge their error in judgement. I asked for the owner, and the receptionist introduced me to a gentleman who was sitting having his lunch at a table in the main office. He told me in no uncertain terms that customers had 30 days to bring matters to their attention; and he was not interested in this issue. He said "if we accepted issues after 30 days we'd make no profit" and we're "talking about a $60 item". He had no concern for consumer or highway safety. I did offer to pay him $60/tire, to replace the ones that they had lied about, and was shown the door. I am surprised there are no regulations that preclude this type of unscrupulous behavior, although I do intend to do a little more exploration of possible recourse, not because of the money involved, the tires would be due to replaced possibly in 5 years in any event, but in order to try and prevent this dealer continuing to take advantage of people buying their vehicles who don't know how to read tire manufacturing dates, and putting more peoples lives at risk on our highways. Unacceptable!

When we purchased the unit we bought the entire smash extended warranty and this special spray on coating and the indicated this coating would provided a life time warranty for this type of damage. Of course they sell you the world when you are purchasing but they certainly do all the can to get out of it after the sale.
