Hey folks, just wanted to let you know that this dealer lies to you and give you 30 days to find the lies, as well as putting yours and others lives at risk on our highways, in the name of profit. Short story, just so you can be aware; my daughter bought an rv from these folks five years ago in 2019, and has had no issues with it. When she bought it she was told it had new tires on it, and like the majority of people, has no idea how to check this, other than look at them and say, yes they look good. Although it was a verbal conversation, he said/she said, there was written confirmation from this dealer that the tires were less than 5 years old. 5 years for those of you that don't know is the oft recommended date by which tire manufacturer's recommend you should be thinking seriously about replacing your tires; over 7 years on an RV and your starting to gamble with yours and other highway users safety. In any event, I was out to visit my daughter this past weekend, and knowing that she'd purchased the vehicle with "new" tires in 2019, I thought I'd give them a quick check for any obvious signs of cracking/checking, which is always one of the indicators of time to replace. I can say that I was absolutely horrified to learn that she'd just pulled her trailer up to a park site along Highway 2 with tires that were 14 years and 2 months old!! These tires were already 9 years and 2 months from manufacture date when she purchased the RV from Western RV Country, with a written confirmation that they were less than 5 years old. I don't know about you other RV'ers out there, but in my book that is fraud, and a flagrant disregard for customers and other highway users safety! I thought okay, I'll take some pictures, and the documents, and go and see the dealer about it and give them an opportunity to acknowledge their error in judgement. I asked for the owner, and the receptionist introduced me to a gentleman who was sitting having his lunch at a table in the main office. He told me in no uncertain terms that customers had 30 days to bring matters to their attention; and he was not interested in this issue. He said "if we accepted issues after 30 days we'd make no profit" and we're "talking about a $60 item". He had no concern for consumer or highway safety. I did offer to pay him $60/tire, to replace the ones that they had lied about, and was shown the door. I am surprised there are no regulations that preclude this type of unscrupulous behavior, although I do intend to do a little more exploration of possible recourse, not because of the money involved, the tires would be due to replaced possibly in 5 years in any event, but in order to try and prevent this dealer continuing to take advantage of people buying their vehicles who don't know how to read tire manufacturing dates, and putting more peoples lives at risk on our highways. Absolute RIP OFF joint. Bought a brand new trailer from them and now we are having issues with the front cap being very badly sun faded. When we purchased the unit we bought the entire smash extended warranty and this special spray on coating and the indicated this coating would provided a life time warranty for this type of damage. Have been advised that they will not honor the warranty. Speaking with my Lawyer on this issue now. Of course they sell you the world when you are purchasing but they certainly do all the can to get out of it after the sale. read more

we bought a trailer (used) from them and first time out we noticed a strange sound.. we inspected and found that the leaf spring had been broken from the frame... now since it had only traveled 5 km to my house and the amount of rust on it, it was most likely not after our purchase that this happened... I was told by service they would not fix it for me.. So why in inspection did this get missed and what else was missed?? Western RV Country Leduc ended up being a great experience for us! It started off a bit frustrating when the unit we were sent to view in Airdrie (with a salesman named Kyle) ended up being an entirely different unit inside from the pictures on the website. While there we happened upon another motorhome that we fell in love with! They brought it to Leduc for us so that we could finish the deal with the original salesman Andy which we thought was awesome! Oddly, during our viewing of the motorhome in question Kyle in Airdrie offered up the information that they made no sales commissions because they were salaried. Then just as we were finalizing the deal in Leduc, Andy told us that they would be sharing commission on our sale. Again, we didn't ask, the information was offered to us. Of course we fully expected them to be commissioned, but were a bit surprised by the fact that as we were making decisions we were told not to feel like we were being upsold (because commission wasn't a factor) and then something different was shared when the deal was almost complete. A bit unusual for sure. We did appreciate the full disclosure from Andy though! Aside from that everything about our purchase was very smooth and transparent! Andy was very helpful and very informative, super nice guy! He even went to Airdrie to collect the unit for us and drive it back. Larry and Chris in finance were great to deal with and we didn't feel pressured by them at all! We did our walk though with Randi and she was really lovely, knowledgable, and super helpful even after with our e-mail inquiries. From shopping to purchase/trade in and finally collection we had a very good experience and would definitely recommend this location to others! From front desk to back shop everyone seems to be genuinely friendly and accommodating! We have yet to have after purchase servicing, but after our appointment in November we will update this review to reflect our experience so that we can provide feedback on all facets of customer service. Do not go here If you want to spend a bunch of money and be ignored when something goes wrong on the trailer that is clearly there fault. They will not answer or return my calls when i call the secretary. Purchased new camper, wash rushed out the door with a poor walk through. 30 minutes on the road and the window was whipping open causing damage to frame because it wasn't latched properly. Agreed to purchase new camper from Western RV in Airdrie. Came to pick up camper on april 11,2019 at 3pm. It was a brand new 2019 sunset trail 262BH travel trailer .. we arrived for a walk through and the person didnt know what camper was ours. we went over the one that was set out for us and noticed it was not the camper we had been told was ours. this one had different back splash inside kitchen and the front spray on liner was different as well. They were not as nice as the show room trailer that we were told was ours. We had insurance on the show room one. stopped walk through and went inside for an hour while the finance manager Deany McCluskey tell us why they didnt notify us they changed the campers. The original one had damage to the roof I went out to inspect original trailer to see if they were being truthful. Then they argued saying there was no difference between the two. Eventually the president Bruce Urban got involved and we made a deal for some extra cash to take the camper they had set out for the inconvenience. then the loan papers had some insurance on it that i asked to opt out on, and the total loan amount did not add up. seemed like they were trying to add money to the loan to recoup the cash maybe? I would think someone that does loans all day should have the totals done correctly. Then we had to do a rush walk through on the unit as the service store was closing. The service person disappeared before we received the keys for the camper and luckily my fiance was on it or we would have left without keys. I was mostly satisfied at that point as they assured me everything was good to go. We left the dealer around 530 and went for supper nearby. Then in the snowstorm we drove onto stoney road and for about 30 min of total drive time i noticed the window in the bedroom that is an emergency exit window was opening and closing violently. so i had to pull over on a busy road while snowing to jump in and close it. under inspection i noticed the frame for the window was all bent and warped from opening and closing. It opened because the window was not latched properly. If we had an actual walk down i would have caught this. It was 830pm at this time so dealer was closed. the window was still in so i decided to keep on driving to my destination. I called The dealer and asked to speak to Bruce and was told he was in a meeting. I emailed Deany and told her about the situation. I called again on tuesday april 16,2019 with no answer again. I have been ignored which is extremely unprofessional. Had i known all this would happen and known they would ignore me i would have never stepped foot in this dealer. Also the PDI is a joke, the door did not latch properly, i had to take the handle apart to adjust, when we ran the furnace the first time it had wood chips all over as well as wood shavings in almost all of the cabinets. we will see if they actually pressured up the water system, hopefully there is no issues there. you think with the amount of trailers sold and the money they make a proper checklist to do a walk through would be done on every camper. We bought our camper from Western RV in Leduc, we had an awesome salesman. He was one of the best ones in all the dealerships that we looked at, but, the good service stopped there. Our first trip out our water system didn't work because our pump was cracked, which no big deal we'll just arrange for warranty. My husband called in and the service desk told him that he should've winterized it properly, funny thing there when they had it all winter. So after arguing we eventually got a pump sent out to us. Then at the end of camping season we got hold of them our fridge wouldn't work on anything but propane. Took it in, they called to say it was fixed, so he went in to get it. Then more fun began! He looked at the paperwork it said they took the furnace out and checked it and all was good, he asked why they did that when he said it was the fridge. They basically called him a liar that that's not what he asked him to fix. So nothing like being treated like your stupid not once but twice. I wouldn't recommend this place if I was paid. (The one in Leduc anyway). Not worth our time, cause they sure know how to waste a lot of that while treating you like your an idiot. Our camper went in on September 20th and just got it back today November 1st. The timeline would've been fine if it was actually done right the first time or, if not, accepted that they screwed up. And good luck talking to the service manager cause he always seems to be 'in a meeting' and doesn't get back to. If you have lots of time and patience and like to make lots of wasted trips and phone calls then I would recommend this place, otherwise find somewhere else. read more

We had an amazing experience with Western RV Country Leduc ; this is the second RV trailer that we purchased from them. We were looking for something very specific, and Western RV Country Leduc was the one to answer our online inquiries! We were delighted at how much effort this company put in to helping us get what we wanted. We came with a long list of "must have's" ...and we got them all! We dealt long distance with Kimberlee - much back and forth to get exactly what we wanted. The day we were in town to examine this Toy Hauler, Kimberlee had to be out of town, so she arranged for an awesome replacement in Amber Knull! We flew in from out of town and Amber picked us up and returned us to our hotel, (85 km round trip) in Edmonton. Amber assisted us in arranging how to get the Toy Hauler home (2025km) safe & sound, for a very reasonable price. The Financial officer respected the very particular way we wanted to make this purchase. We felt everyone (the Boss, Financial officer& salespersons) had a stake in making us happy. Their service hasn't ended - they have helped us find the answers to simple "how to's" with the new rig (because not everyone likes reading instruction manuals LOL) and gave us valuable information regarding selling our previous RV trailer. Our experience with Western RV Country in Leduc was so refreshing compared to other companies where we have made large purchases!! we recently purchased a motorhome from them It was suppose to have been cleaned and scotch guarded. Paid big fees for this. Got home found the cushions stained right thru to the foam-would not replace them In a suppose to be cleaned unit found 6 ant traps 3 of which were under the cushion they were suppose to clean- the filth found under the cushion was disgusting. Unit was suppose to have been inspected back up camera does not work nor dvd player- company unwilling to help go to different rv place read more

We recently bought a pre-owned trailer from them and WOULD NOT RECOMMEND buying from this dealership. They promise things and then don't deliver when they say they will - the entire experience was very frustrating and disappointing. I found everyone there to be unprofessional and untrustworthy. They don't care about the customer. Just one thing that happened was they hooked the 30ft trailer up to our truck and didn't tell us that we had the wrong hitch and stabilizer bars so we could only drive 50kms/hour down the highway as it was swaying all over the place. We took it to a trailer service place in Calgary and was told that the rv dealership should have told us. read more

We bought our trailer from this dealer in 2012 we got a package that covers the coating one the outside of the trailer,the scotch guard in the seats inside and rips and tears. We took the trailer in to be recoated we had forgotten to take in tge year before so they said we would have to pay a free of $25 we said ok that seems odd but said ok. We had ore washed our trailer by hand so they would have a little amount of cleaning to do. When they phoned us to tell us the trailer was ready they said there would be an extra charge for the clean and said it took them 1:30hr to clean it and would be $187 for the cleaning charge . When I asked them if they had any customer service they said those r our service rates which I understand but to wash a trailer I though they would have a cheap rate at least. I do NOT recommend this place if u r looking for a new rv they will try and sell you stuff they do not cover and will try and get as much money out of you as they can I will no longer be taking my trailer to this dealer as they have little to no customer service read more
