We were quite literally in our way to another Thai restaurant near by and made a late decision to turn into the plaza and try TeeSud. It was not a bad idea!!! At first, I thought "wow, limited menu & didn't have a lot of dishes we would typically order at a Thai restaurant". Erth (one of the owners) helped to attend to us and was quite personable and proud of what they have built. He indicated it's more regional menu focusing on northern Thai cuisine. He was really clear to emphasize mostly local food suppliers (WA), bowls and ceramics from the local ceramic shop in Downtown snohomish. We asked what he recommended and we went with the following food: FOOD Appetizer : TeeSud wings. So delicious. First the size of these wings were unexpected. Huge! Crispy. Slightly sweet & spicy. W crispy shallots deep friend into the crust. Entrees: 1. TEESUD MINCED KOBE BEEF AND sunny side fried egg. Beef was so flavorful. Almost buttery. It was chopped up w green beans, peppers and onions. The first bite was heaven. 2. BEEF CHUCK SHORT RIB (GF) SOOOOOO Incredibly tender. The flavor was rich and delicious. Lots of broth for serving over and eating w rice. My fam oohd and awwwd over this one and was definitely their most fav. Also had a bit of spice. We got MED. 3. NORTHERN STYLE NOODLE w chicken. A subtle almost peanutty flavor although it didn't say that in the menu. This has a nice sauce and crispy shallots in it. We enjoyed this but not such a stand out as the other items. Still pretty yummy and I'd suggest you try at lest once. Side dishes: ANCIENT FRIED RICE w chicken. My fam had mix reviews on this one. I could not try as I'm allergic To rice now (yes I know weird and sad). My daughter thought it was delicious with complex flavors. My hubby felt it wasn't any different than what he might get at other restaurants. Dessert: THAI BANANA ROTI. Looked Nothing like what I pictured in my head. Presentation was very nice. They looked like nine little crispy balls covered w Nutella. They were good but the fresh fried banana inside was a unique texture that most of us Americans probably aren't used to. Next time I might ask for the sauce on the side. It was a little too sweet for my preference. SERVICE Erth really paid attention to detail. Gave us some history on the restaurant. His vision and the 2 year delay covid caused. He made great recommendations and brought each dish out as it was made. He also wanted us to be aware of the local ingredients. Use of seasonal produce and locally sourced stuff wherever possible. The bartender was nice. She helped serve us too. More one the quiet side. Drop n go. Also the bar was STACKED from top shelf liquors to your basic booze. Beer is all WA local beers. they also have happy hour from 2-5 and offer delivery. AMBIANCE cool kitschy decor and design. So many vegan options and cute inside! Came on a Sunday and it was a full house. So service was a little bit slow but totally worth it. Every dish had so much flavor. Okay, the hype is real and well deserved! I came by on a cloudy weekend around 1pm with my boyfriend and we were able to get a table pretty easily. The interior is beautiful- gorgeous bar area and so many cool decorations. Very comfortable and clean, we loved it! For food, I started with the papaya salad. It was great- pretty standard salad and didn't blow my mind but was very good and a wonderful portion. The curry was a GAME CHANGER! I have never had curry that rich and flavorful in. my life. WOW! I basically licked the bowl clean when I was done with it. My boyfriend was jealous and almost got an order of the curry to go because we loved it so much. I got it mildly spicy and it was a perfect spice level for me. The menu is very easy to read for people with allergies- very clear and well labeled. Lots of vegan options, gluten free options, anyone could eat here! The staff is lovely. Our waiter was kind, quick, and made us feel so welcome. I ordered the pad see ew (the names on the menu isn't the same as the regular name) and found that it was on the saucy side, which I personally appreciated! Let's start off with ambiance. I loved the rustic appearance and the friendly staff that greeted us immediately. Our waiter was very patient as it was our first time here and helped us decide on food. He mentioned that all of the ingredients are from Washington state. We really enjoyed the food! I went with my usual pad Thai but with short rib. Haven't had it like this before. It was delicious. The waiter was specific about the way the sprouts and sugar was placed on the side because it was custom to the region in Thailand. My husband loved the crispy chicken. Admittedly I was a little skeptical of whether driving all the way from Bellevue to Snohomish for Thai food would be worth it, but luckily Tee Sud was some of the best Thai food my GF and I have had in the Seattle area. Here's what we tried: Tee Sud Wings: these seemed to be very popular in the reviews I read and I can see why. The sweet and savory sauce on these chicken wings is delicious, and they come out so warm and crispy. The fried shallots on the wings were nice. I also appreciate that the wings come out with some veggies to snack on/wrap the fried chicken with. Just note that these are whole chicken wings (not something I'm particularly used to tbh) and that the sauce is pretty sticky, so you'll probably have to wash your hands afterwards. Tee Sud Short Rib Fried Rice: I ordered this since I wanted to try something with short rib on it (since that seems to be a restaurant specialty) and it was pretty good. The short rib was pretty tender and not too dry. The fried rice was very savory, especially with all the fried shallots on top. I normally wouldn't eat pickled chilis, but I did feel like the spicy and sour taste they provided was a nice balance to the fried rice. Crab Fried Rice: This is what my GF ordered so I did not eat too much of it, but I did notice that the crab portion was pretty good, and that the crab flavor in the fried rice was pretty evident. My GF mentioned that she really liked this green sauce (some sort of fish sauce?) they provided with the fried rice. Outside of the food, service was fantastic for the most part (staff was friendly and checked up on us regularly, I also liked that they gave us extra napkins when they noticed we ordered the wings). We came for dinner around 6:30pm on a Friday. It was crowded, but there was luckily table space for us, and we did not have to wait long. All in all, I definitely want to come back again and try one of their noodle dishes (maybe the street noodles) in the future. read more

To Go Review: I have 3 basic criteria for takeout. 1. Ready when promised, still hot. 2. Travels well. 3. Tastes great! Tee Sud delivered on all three. My dinner was waiting in a hot box when I arrived, it was piping hot. My journey home was short (1.5 miles), I expected it to arrive in great shape. Again, delighted, it was packed in a semi-reusable plastic container retaining the heat and deliciousness. And the final test, it was excellent. Overall, a great experience. Yes, I will return. We liked the 30 day aged beef skewers, LOVED the short rib fried rice...the short ribs were so tender! Vegetarian curry was delicious (I LOVE pumpkin in savory dishes!). This is likely not an issue when dining in, but if you order a curry for takeout be sure to add a side of rice as it doesn't come with one. Tee Suds is our go to for Thai food. The food is amazing and the service is great when eating in. They have great vegan menu and we have ordered many items and all of them have been great. Our go to are the street noodles and Himalayan chicken. Their cocktails are also amazing if you are eating in and they make their own infusions in house. We've been here probably a dozen times. The only downside is consistently their take out estimates are quite inaccurate (15-20 minutes behind what they say in the email) so we end up waiting awhile for pick up after what their email estimates say. We got takeout today and it was an off night which hasn't happened to us before. Our rice was pretty hard (felt like the bottom of the pot) and our street noodles were way different than the others time we have come, they were shredded/chopped up. our family from Seattle brought us here during our vacation from California. This of the best Thai food we've ever had. There's not enough things I can say about this place from the speciality cocktail drinks made by the bartender, to the service staff, and the extraordinarily food, you really can't go wrong with this place. The pictures don't do the restaurant justice (and I didn't get a chance to take a picture of everything ordered because it was DEVOURED). Everything is very fresh, they have an open kitchen where you can see the cooks making the food to orders. This is a small location but doesn't seem crowded. The bartender was great. He actually is from Southern California and had great conversion with us. If you don't see a drink you'd like on the menu, trust in him and let him make you a drink, you won't regret it. read more

Not much flavor but it came with a couple of sauces. Not sure I'd put those with crab fried rice and one made my mouth burn it was so spicy BUT I'm a little wimpy with spice so others might enjoy it. Incredible experience. Visiting from out of town, I found this little place about 10 minutes from grandma's house. She's not very adventurous and doesn't get out much AND she hates being disappointed by food/restaurants. She was not. The service was attentive but not invasive. The food came out fast and was flavorful. The drinks were creative and tasty (and pretty!). We started with a side, the flash fried green beans. My grandma said she would come here JUST to eat these. Next we had Drunkard Noodles with prawns, crispy chicken and an order of jasmine rice to wash it all down. It was more than enough food for the two of us and it was all incredibly delicious. Granny described the chicken as the breaded cousin of General Tso's chicken, a pretty accurate comparison. In consideration for granny, I asked them for a little heat but not too much spice and they nailed it. I finish, we tried the banana roti which was warm, crispy and comforting. I find the flavor of banana so distinct and sometimes overpowering but they did such a good job of balancing out the flavors into a perfect little dessert that was just the right amount of sweet in a sharable finale. The employees were friendly and engaged while still allowing us to have some good quality time. It was the perfect last meal to share with my grandma before my flight back home. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Tee Sud will definitely be on my list of places to visit when I'm back to visit grandma again. read more

Ummm... is ten stars a thing? Seriously. I've suffered through a lot of overly sweet curry and expensive add ons for condiments while eating Thai food from Seattle to Bellevue. I never expected to find the best Thai food I've had since backpacking through Thailand in Snohomish but here we are. Service was impeccable, decor was spot on, and the bar was perfectly appointed for a whisky lover like myself (need to go back for dinner to enjoy the bar). We tried a curry, fried rice, drunken noodles and a special that was an outstanding duck noodle. Much of the produce is sourced from PNW farms, noodles are fresh from Seattle... how much better could it get? 5 stars for excellence, I'd add an additional star for including all of the condiments with each dish if yelp would let me. One of the best meals I have had in Snohomish in the ~8 years of living here, hands down! My husband and I came here to celebrate my birthday as we had been wanting to try it since they opened. The space has a really cool vibe to it, so I recommend eating in. We ordered some cocktails to start, which were delicious and unique. You could tell they really took their time crafting these! Pad Thai tastes way to ketchupy and the beef in the Drunkard noodles, chunks of beef, tasted dry and hard to eat. Most places have slices of tender beef. For the price, not worth it. We ordered the Seafood Spicy Soup, Thai Tea, Teesud Chicken Wings, and the Curry Noodles. The seafood spicy soup is a Thai version of hot and sour soup, very similar to Tom Yum soup. We also ordered the Tee Sud chicken wings. It reminds me of the chicken I would order at Pok Pok Thai restaurant when we go to Oregon. We also had the Curry Noodles. The chicken curry was good, but it was a bit over powering. But, if you love a thick curry flavor, then this is perfect.
