The greens are fast, likely due to the 94 degrees. There was a challenge with the 34 minutes it took to play the first hole due to the group in front of us were playing slowly. The Marshall was out to speak with them by the third hole. If you're a walker the course is relatively flat but I took 22,000 steps. The Beverage cart game is solid. Soft drinks and water with the other side for beer. The driver was very nice. The guys bathroom is clean and located near the cafe. The driving range is mats only on there are two practice putting greens. The staff is very nice and helpful. There is an indoor area for winter golf.

They need to schedule the tee times with a little more buffer because that's just unacceptable. Some holes follow the highways, but it's not too loud or bothersome. Overall, it's a nice course and 9 holes can be played in 2 hours walking/driving/or pushing a cart. The tee blocks are well maintained and the greens are fairly nice as well. Small pro shop and across the way is a cafe, so grab a sandwich or drink for your round! TIPS & TRICKS: * Grab some buddies and make a day out of it, the course is very close to the interstate so you can nab some lunch at one of the various restaurants close by.

The sand traps hadn't been raked or repaired in months. Dirt from the edges were falling into the traps. The fairways were loaded with bare spots, and the rough was not cut in months. I thought Rose Park was bad, but in comparison, it looks like a country club.

I love this course!…read more When I move to Utah from Vegas I looked up courses on Golf Now app and there were none. I thought Utah did t have courses... but then I came here to hit balls in March 2022 and they weren't open yet but getting close. The clubhouse staff were very nice and easy going. I've played 4 rounds of 18 and 2 rounds of 9 since July and I love this course. 1 is an easy par 4. Heading next into a dog left 4, the par 3. The greens are in good condition with challenging undulations the altitude changes. The back nine is a passage descending into the belly of the beast. Just maintain tempo, deep breath and swing easy. It will get there. If you try too hard you will lose sleeves to the JRT or the deep poo that borders all the fairways... Rates are good... cart is $18 per rider Clubhouse staff is good and super helpful whether in person or on the phone. The food at the clubhouse is exceptional. They take pride In their menu down the the bread used on the Philly. If you go, look up every now and again to admire the beauty.

The first is that the food stand wasn't open when we went there around 2pm on a Monday, but no worries, there was lots of food in the area. We ended up getting food nearby and coming back to finish our game. There's tons of picnic tables around, so they're probably cool with people packing a picnic. We will probably just plan on doing that in the future. Also, when we first showed up, there were TONS of kids, which was a little annoying. They were climbing all over the features and they were impatient with the groups ahead of them on the course. When we came back from grabbing food, around 5, it was way quieter. So my advice if you want to avoid the kids is to come around dinner time or maybe first thing in the morning. We think we accidentally showed up when kids had just gotten let out of school. I could see this place being super busy on the weekends. We will totally come back when we're looking for a cheap activity with friends. Like many mountain courses, I was afraid it was going to be a bit gimmicky but I was pleasantly surprised it wasn't at all. There were several elevated tees, rolling (even slanted) fairways, it never felt like it was too much at any time. The course was in great shape, especially considering it's been 100 degrees and more throughout my Salt Lake City visit. Outside of a few holes, the course is pretty narrow and will require some straight shooting. The greens were a trip because at times they were quick and then they would slow down considerably. Many of them had several tiers which proved to be tough at times. Overall, I had a great experience and had it with a great rate for some good golf. No cart girl but I'm guessing the 104 temp caused that. On an amazing customer service note, when I finished the drink area was closed and when I asked one of the instructors if there was somewhere else I could buy something, he gave me one of his own Gatorades. Super nice! Hydrate and have a blast.
