Arrive and was blown away by its lushness and modern clubhouse, the cafe run by a most helpful lady named Virginia and a guy, older guru g the kitchen... makes a mean breakfast sandwich and his preferred English muffin. Glad I took his advice. Shoot, crunchy muffin...OH!!! They have 6 Eav chargers... chargepoint so download the app ...charging is FREE! I charged for 2 hours... FREE... The course is nicely laid out but think the dog right on 3 may want to be changed to a Par 5... just sayin'. Greens were smooth and rolled with little to no bumps.... There is always more than one hole set, you walk up to the flag and there is another cup just ten feet away, as if they've forgotten to fill it in when they made the new hole. The signs are old and faded, but you can still make out the numbers (although most of the yardage is inaccurate) so just be prepared to eyeball most. There is usually some goose droppings you need to play around too, which add another challenging element to your game. Overall though, the pricing cannot be beat, $9/person or $15 if you want to play the regular course! And the views cannot be beat. They're also building a new clubhouse which is sure to add another element of flair. TIPS & TRICKS: * Their cake doughnuts are baller, grab a few of those to fill you while you play.

The course is nothing spectacular -- a lot of holes are straight, and there aren't a lot of hazards. Especially for beginning and intermediate golfers, Murray Parkway is great because there is a "bail out" area on nearly every hole, where you can hit a bad shot and still end up in the rough (or maybe even the neighboring fairway). The groundskeepers do a pretty good job too, the course is in solid shape. Because of its central location in the valley, and because it's a pretty beginner-friendly course, you'll definitely want to get a tee time here (rather than trying to walk on). I grew up playing this course and played in many high school tournaments at Murray Parkway-it's a classic!

Whereas several other golf courses allow you to take your cart on the course, this one discourages it and constantly reminds people to stay on the path. I guess it does help maintain the course but can be a little frustrating if you're used to driving to your ball. Will def be back for some more fun!

Namely with the amount dog poop, maintenance, trash, course setup and how easy it is to follow. The course is 18 holes. There are a couple variations of where the hole may be. Each tee has a picture of the possible locations of that hole's basket. As well as the location of the next hole. Prior to starting there is a huge map of the course upon walking in. U-Disc is another option too if you're map challenged as the app will tell you if you're getting hot or cold towards the next tee/basket. Great course for beginners. Lots of open area. A few mandatory sections on the course. No real OB that I saw, other than going over a fence. Not many trash cans on the course. Which would explain why I saw so much dog poop Saturday morning. With that said, other than the poop, the course was relatively clean. A tournament was about to start upon the completion of our round. To which those arriving were turned away due to the course being closed because of the tournament. I'm hoping that this is documented somewhere so if I choose to come play here again I can look it up so I don't drive over just to be turned away. FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUR!

I live Downtown and love having a new 18-hole course within 10 minutes of home…read more The course is great, lots of obstacles, the river, huge trees, a couple fences, etc. The holes are nice and long and it's fun to be able to throw it as hard as you can. The course is challenging, but not too challenging. It will be a while before I hit par here, but I'll get it one day! On any given day there are quite a few people playing. It's nice to see so many people out enjoying the game. The community is pretty active here and are great, friendly people. One thing, please DO NOT DRINK OR SMOKE HERE. The land is given by the city on condition that this rule and others are kept. They are watching this course like a hawk and have already given warning after finding beer cans in the garbage. They will close down the course if people don't stop, which would really suck for the growth of the sport around here. Anyways, go enjoy a great course and have fun!
