Murray Parkway is a fun, 18-hole community golf course that is a favorite in the Salt Lake Valley. The course offers blue, white, silver, and yellow tees, so golfers of all skill levels can feel comfortable teeing it up at Parkway. The course is nothing spectacular -- a lot of holes are straight, and there aren't a lot of hazards. Especially for beginning and intermediate golfers, Murray Parkway is great because there is a "bail out" area on nearly every hole, where you can hit a bad shot and still end up in the rough (or maybe even the neighboring fairway). The groundskeepers do a pretty good job too, the course is in solid shape. Because of its central location in the valley, and because it's a pretty beginner-friendly course, you'll definitely want to get a tee time here (rather than trying to walk on). I love this place... wide open and flat for you bag carriers or strollers.greens are in good shape, fairways too. Another thing I like is you don't pay until you check out in. The staff is nice and the cafe grille is good too. read more

Pretty nice course, putting greens don't read the same as the course however. Fair pricing, nothing to really write home about. We had a tee time scheduled for 12:10 and were waiting on the group in front of us for most of the round, because of that, the group behind would hit into us too. They need to schedule the tee times with a little more buffer because that's just unacceptable. Some holes follow the highways, but it's not too loud or bothersome. Overall, it's a nice course and 9 holes can be played in 2 hours walking/driving/or pushing a cart. The tee blocks are well maintained and the greens are fairly nice as well. Small pro shop and across the way is a cafe, so grab a sandwich or drink for your round! TIPS & TRICKS: * Grab some buddies and make a day out of it, the course is very close to the interstate so you can nab some lunch at one of the various restaurants close by. read more

Just finished a round at this course. I really appreciate the wide open fairways and minimal trees on this course. Naturally, that means little to no shade in the summer, but today was a perfect day. As a very inconsistent golfer, this course is an excellent level of difficulty, but it would probably prove to be too easy for a decent golfer. Highly recommend this course for beginners and intermediate golfers alike. Friendly staff and well manicured fairways/greens. Will definitely return! read more

Great course, forgiving , greens are fast fairways fun! Par 3s are fun and challenging! Cafe and staff were all around friendly. Loved the hotdogs split and fried served on a hoagie bun. Think I had 3 no complaints here. read more

Just finish a round at this course. Fairways are pretty close to each other. So felt like we were playing on top of everyone. Very strict on time though. After playing nine holes our group was pretty hungry but we could not order ahead because didn't know the menu. So suggest maybe having a online menu to look at so we can order ahead keep our round moving. Best thing is one of us step into a hole and twisted her ankle pretty bad. So we ended up taking her to the emergency room and could not finished. After leaving the emergency room we really wanted to finish our round and the pro shop was pretty understanding and allow us to come back and finish. Great customer service. I'll give the course 4 stars, have to take two stars away due to staff. The course itself was in great shape on a beautiful day, nice work grounds crew. The bald guy in the pro shop checking people in needs some customer service training. Lighten up man! Also, why close the grill before 5pm on a weekday? People golf after work and need a snack, you might sell a beer or two as well. I hope to return on a better day for the staff! read more

the course itself is a fun one to play, but the people that work there are a bunch of goofball dirtbags. within a month stretch they've hosed me and a friend of mine over twice. they're systems never seem to work the way they are intended to and the people that work in the pro shop are a bunch of lazy arrogant goofs. find a different course read more

Very enjoyable golf course, I play here often. A warning though. If you want an individual cart (COVID precaution) they are trying to make up revenue for their carts and are currently charging $32 for 18 holes, double the usual rate and almost as much as the senior rate for golf. For less money ($52 vs $58 weekday) I would go play Bonneville or Mountain Dell (much nicer courses) in SLC, Old Mill or River Oaks in SL Co. No problem getting single rider carts at these courses. Won't be back to Murray Parkway until their cart fees come back to normal. read more

I just started playing so I really don't know much about golf. So it's hard for me to say if a course is fun to play or challenging. What I can comment on is that the Murray Parkway Golf Course doesn't seem very well maintained and it isn't a very pretty course. It's most big and open, flat, with few trees and not much to look at. Prices were typical, $22 I think for 9 holes with a cart. Staff was fine. read more

Great course, and staff. They make every effort to get you out, even when they're booked.

Decent course for the price. Lots of high handicap players there, so that means lots of waiting. Tee boxes were nice and even, fairways were green, very few or no brown spots, and greens were rolling fairly good. So if you mind wait try this place. Pro shop lady (sorry didnt catch the name) was really nice and professional. I played in the late afternoon, so the wind picked up and gave the course a different experience. Course is fairly short in length. No real challenges but fun overall. read more

Played the front 9 a few days ago. Decent course. Fairways were all in good shape. One or Two of the greens needed improvement. Honestly the most deterring factor that made me decide i will never go back, was the rest of the golfers playing the course. On the second hole we had some old, low class, citizens yelling at us while we took our shots because they thought we were playing too slow. In actuality we ourselves were waiting on the tee for the group ahead of us. Multiple times these guys yelled, cussed, and insulted us. If that wasn't enough, they would tee off when we were in the middle of the fairway coming within 5 feet of us. We were so disappointed that when we returned our cart we mentioned it to the pro shop and they told us the group of TWELVE that we had the problem with are very frequent regulars. Can't play with trashy dudes, sorry parkway. read more
