Very attentive and genuinely wanted to make up for her mistake. Shampoochies did a great job grooming my little pup, she generally doesn't like being groomed so I appreciate that they gave her special attention. They also don't force the dogs to be blow dried if they don't like to be, and will wait for them to air dry if needed. Lastly, when we got home she had these adorable little bows on. :) Give them a try if you're looking for a groomer!

While I've transition to more work from home, so he doesn't need to go to day play as often, I wouldn't hesitate to send him there if he needed to burn off some extra energy or needed the interaction of other dogs. She greeted our pups so kindly and made them feel completely comfortable before we even left. In the past, our pups would be at the groomer all day -- from opening until after closing -- and I'd still have to do a few touch-ups at home. Morgan had them done in just four hours, and they looked (and smelled!) amazing. Perfectly groomed, happy, and relaxed -- I think even they noticed how good they looked! Somehow the person who took care of our cat was able to shave her, wash her, trim nails. We had to be called to come get her earlier than expected because she was hyperventilating. This tells me they took her health seriously and the situation and they were successfully able to shave her all over and bathe her to get her to a better healthy situation. I hate that they had to go through that with my cat but very grateful for their help. The package came out to around 75-85$.

I completely understand that some dogs need extra care, but it was made to seem like it was a huge issue that he might need assistance, as if dogs don't commonly have anxiety or past trauma. I was also repeatedly asked if I was sure I wanted to book, even after explaining multiple times that I just needed a simple wash and trim because grooming him at home has been difficult. It started to feel like I was being talked out of booking rather than helped. After that call, I ended up booking somewhere else that he's been to before, and they took him in with no hesitation and were very understanding about his anxiety. The difference in how I was treated was very clear. Because of this experience, I just wanted to share this feedback in hopes that future customers are spoken to with more understanding and reassurance.

Even our Vet said the customers they referred her to, had no luck getting any responses from her. Recently I was going through my phone and saw her number, and decided to see if she was still in business. She responded to my text and said she was still in the business and would be glad to groom our dog. I set the date and time, and when the time came, we went to take our dog in and when we got there she said her phone was not working and had to go get it fixed. She would be returning promptly after it was fixed, and we were welcome to leave our dog while she was gone, and she would call to let us know when she was done. We opted out of her invite to leave our dog (very smart decision on our part), and to this day (2 weeks later), she has not called to apologize or reschedule. This is very sad because Angela is a very good groomer. She is conveniently located, has very fair prices, fast, thorough, and very good with the dogs. She would definitely be our "go-to" groomer if she was reliable, but because she is not, I would advise you to not take the chance unless you are a gambler.

Lawrenceville pet owners -- PLEASE READ before boarding at PetSuites Lawrenceville…read more My puppy was seriously hurt while staying there. I got a TEXT at 7:15pm during the boarding stay telling me my puppy had a small gash near her nose. The facility stated they would be keeping a close eye on her and if I wanted, they could take her to the vet the next morning. I informed PetSuites to take her to the vet since the incident occurred while in their care. The vet called me to let me know my puppy would need surgery which required 12 stitches to close (see picture of injury below). After not hearing from PetSuites Lawrenceville, I went to the facility to talk to them and to request an incident report. PetSuites Lawrenceville admitted the potty run area had fencing/locks with bolts that stick out on the inside of the potty run and that they were working on sourcing rubber caps for the area to prevent anything like what happened to my puppy occurring in the future. I sent PetSuites of America, the registered agent, a notice of demand to cover the costs of surgery and medication. After the demand, I filed a small claims complaint which was served to their corporate office and they also failed to respond. The most heartbreaking part is that PetSuites of America failed to satisfy my claim and never asked how my puppy was doing after her surgery. I was eventually awarded judgment against them by the magistrate court. I trusted PetSuites Lawrenceville with my family member and they let me down in the worst way. This facility is entrusted with the safety of your animals. They failed mine -- and then refused to own it. I don't want this to happen to anyone else's pet. Please share this so other pet owners in the Lawrenceville area can make an informed decision before leaving their animals at PetSuites Lawrenceville facility.
